((OOC: I apologize, they were the ones posting the most and my character's attention was attracted to them. I'll be sure to point out the other two as well))

Jacqie noticed that one of the vampires became aware of her and she held her grin on her face. Not to mock really but more to give a warning that there are more than just her ears in a place full of random people. Given it may be many people and a public place, it still doesn't minus the factor that there could be any one of those "evil-doers" in this place right now.

She only sipped on the drink and watched as that same vampire continued and she only raised her glass to pay her respects to her as she noticed the rise in her mood, leaving Jacqueleen only but with a smirk of satisfaction. 'Hmm, if I noticed your conspicuous conversation, who else do you think probably is listening in?', she snuffs at her empty glass, placing it lightly on the bar and hunching over the bar to wave at the bartender and he nodded toward her in acknowledgment. Mumbling lightly to herself, "Even with all the power in the world and yet the judgment can still be clouded and biased...Priez Dieu.". Shortly after, the glass came squealing down the bar and she only cupped it quickly and reminisced about the days when people were smart about what they did.

"So, something stupid, wouldn't be exactly what you all are doing at this exact moment?" and giggled once again, her smart a** coming to show it's ugly face again. Maybe Jacqie could irritate them out of doing exactly the silly s**t they are doing right now. Pride is not only for the weak or uneducated. It's purely for those who have the power they have and to recognize the fact that you can have as much power as you want, but you will curse yourself the day you are not careful with all that power....Jacqueleen knows well about this curse of Pride, she carried it for a long time....she just got lucky.

"Ceon, I think one of your mongrels is testing your patience with her open disrespect of your leadership. Perhaps you should cut her off and encourage her to take a walk before you find yourself out of a business partner."
She spoke the words cooly, knowing the lycan could hear her.
Rogue was quite aware of where they were, and quite aware of the words she chose to say aloud. She wasn't a fool.
Most of the crowd were human, and the bass heavy music made most people of a supernatural nature have a hard time picking up on conversation, even when close. To strain the ears, even for a vampire or lycan, usually meant some sort of headache. Any sort of tech that would be used to try and capture conversations would be next to useless for the sheer loudness of the music alone.

Jacqueleen only rolled her head around to giggle at the leech but instead of getting angry like most lycans would, she looked at her directly,"Just remember darling, when you call me one of HIS mongrels, he's the king. So that makes him King Mongrel and besides....if you wanna make peace with a whole lot of 'mongrels', you shouldn't just do it with only their Master unless you want to discover that us Mongrels actually stick together and never have any 'secret agendas' of our own." and the girl only nodded with a smile toward her new "best friend" and shifted her weight slightly on her stool and rolled her shoulders softly as if the whole situation had no affect on her and simply draws out with one breath, "Mongrel...hehe." she chuckled softly at the girl's insults and simply inhaled with a singular thought 'Been called worse.'.

Jacqueleen didn't care they were offended. Stupid, self-righteous leech-bags. She was a tid-bit irritated with the fact that the 'All-mighty & powerful' Leaders of these covens could be this stubborn. Jacqie waved her index finger slightly in the air and the bartender already knew and as he came up with her drink he leaned over the bar and asked softly, "I'm not gonna have any problems here with you, am I?", tapping the top of the bar. She only stared at him with amusement and shook her head nonchalantly, "Hah, nope. No sir, not here. I'll take it outside if it comes to it darlin'." she winked at him, realizing that he only had concern for the bar and he smirked back at her.

Back to nursing another drink, she flipped out her cigarettes again, realizing these 'alpha-almightys' really believed they were that smart, huh? We'll see and a smirk dragged across her face as that nicotine chilled her fiery veins.

Rogue smiled politely at Jacqueleen and lit another cigarette.
What Jacqueleen couldn't hear was Rogue speaking into the mind of the bartender who had just poured Jacqueleen her last drink. He had laced it with a dash of powdered silver, and she would soon be feeling the effects.

Rogue took a long drag and poured herself another glass of bourbon and sipped on it. Perhaps Katarina was right...Rogue spoke into the connection Veroen, and Alexz shared.

Jacqueleen got about 50% of the drink down and began to hack violently and after clearing her throat a couple times she peered over her shoulder and chuckled lightly at the leech. Brought the glass up to her nose and sniffed and swiftly set it down on the bar from the stench of silver.

She ripped a loud laugh, "Haha, smart b***h! Kudos!" and only then picked up the glass again to show her, the real resistance she had to light exposures of silver and simply downed the rest of the drink. Of course it went down rough and she hacked a few times - you could even see the burn marks that formed in her throat as it swelled in that little area on the skin of her neck. She only raised her glass to her with her last cough and winked at her, announcing "Thanks for the drink darlin' but..." she laughed at herself as she blurted it out, "...My vine doesn't swing that way!" and winked at her flirtatiously and continued to giggle some more. Her stomach was rumbling as she said this. Rubbing her stomach lovingly, she tapped the bar again for the bartender to bring another, feeling more tipsy & drowsy with the coating of silver lined in her stomach.

But then an idea sprang into her thoughts and she winked back over her shoulder at the leech-b***h and said, "...and when you lined my drink with silver, did that not just prove why us lycans are so loyal to our own? You leeches, so damn quick to take action, you forget to think about the consequences. Fortunately, I'm not a spiteful b***h unlike most....so I hold no remorse towards you." and her eyes only shifted to a silver, speckled with a hot lemon highlight and she grinned at her "best friend" playfully and turned back with no harm intended, hitting off her cigarette strongly as she still coughed from that silver. It was intoxicating but she's been fed worse, before when they tried to capture the Demon of Du Moire once. She snuffed as she ignored the memory and took a deep breath to inhale her nicotine-fix once more.

She concluded her antagonism for the night and just continued, perched on her stool, nursing this drink, after this she would call it a night, probably get a hotel room because she's never had a real home anyways. Scoffing at her negativity to chase it away she slid off her stool bar to prance over and play another one of her favorites 'Ignorance by Paramore'.

It rocked loudly and she only giggled excitedly and there was a couple of people that headed towards the dance floor to rock out to her music choice. She only grinned and strided toward the dance floor to jig up and make a meat-boy fall in love tonight. Even if she got bored quickly, she needed a quick distraction.

"I'm certainly beginning to step onto her side of the line...at least for the moment," she said to them, "Should have used a heavier dose, I'm sure she wouldn't be missed."

"Consequences from a pup who can barely hold her liquor? What an imagination you have," Alexz muttered, knowing her words could be heard from across the bar.

The recent turn of events, including the toll her health had taken, made her incredibly impatient. As she flicked cigarette ashes into an astray, she began to consider the pros and cons of launching a minor mental attack. Would it be a violation of the treaty or the blood oath? Did she much care? Not particularly, but she chose to spare the young wolf for the time being. After all, she wouldn't want to be responsible for transporting her body after she was finished.

"It seems the reigns have slackened in the lycanthrope community; things like this never occurred in the past..." she sighed, "Maybe it's just this new generation, pathetic, really."

After she was almost enjoying herself and yet the oldest leech of them all wanted to call her a pup and she chuckled. She easily made her way past the group again with nothing said and had gone to another floor for a few minutes.

As she returned, she brought two drinks with her. One of bourbon and one of Jacqie's drink that she has been drinking. She approached the young, healthier looking vampire and set the bourbon right in front of her in audacity, speaking directly to her, as if she was staring deep into her eyes, "I'm wondering, you want to make a treaty but yet your not willing to trust each other? Let's settle it then, you want trust so you have a choice of giving it or never getting it....so since you spiked my drink, let's see if I spiked yours, huh?", with complete sobriety she waited for her reply. To conclude her statement with the half-dead leech, she didn't even turn to look at her but mentioned bluntly, "It seems like you all have a dilemma that it radiating from all of you. I'm solving it. You wanna trust a lycan? You wanna REALLY trust a lycan, let's see if you do & drink that drink that I poured for you...".

With it said Jacqueleen only looked at all of them in disgust as they harbored their feelings of deceit against each other in their eyes, "Pup? No my darling, I'm jaded from the many years ago when I made foolish mistakes from being so....hmmmm, what is it? Impatient?". Clicking her boots she only paced toward the bar to just light a cigarette & request for a small order of french fries and realized that this kind of stubborn was not her style at all. She sat back and relaxed, sipping on the same drink as before.

There was something reckless and ballsy about this young lycan woman that stood before her. Rogue couldn't pin it in its entirety but she recognized some of the same fire in this woman that Rogue saw in herself, especially in her younger years.
Rogue contemplated for a moment the weight of trust. Full trust was not required for the deal that Ceon and Rogue had made...for...full trust was something that Rogue scarcely even considered giving to another being. She had lived too many lifetimes and more often than not it left her burned. Rogue's true loyalty however...
To those Rogue eventually let in...naturally they became like family...the two vampire elders sitting beside her were proof of that. Somewhere, deep inside them all, they knew that if they survived external threats, they wouldn't succumb to old age, and through the passing of time...whatever human friends...or even lycan for that matter...they would pass away. There was something about the immortality of the vampire clan...forgiveness could be afforded because they would outlive the days of former mistakes.

Veroen, Rogue and Alexz had all tried to kill one another at one point.
And here they were.

Trust didn't belong on a broad scale in reality. To Rogue it boiled down to each person. Rogue knew that Ceon couldn't control his whole clan in New York...just like Rogue couldn't control rogue vampires doing random killing and not cleaning up after themselves. They all had codes and laws for a reason, and even Death Dealers killed their own kind who did not abide by said laws.

Rogue wasn't afraid of death. And if she were truly poisoned, Alexz and Veroen would flay the lycan alive after draining her slowly, swallowing her mind in darkness and after projections of her worst fears were wretched upon her mind and body...
"Živeli." Rogue lifted the glass in cheers and smiled, her eyes locking on Jacqleen's. She poured back the alcohol, then sat the glass down.

Veroen was the silent type, and everyone at the table knew it, even Ceon. Veroen had once attempted to assist Ceon in the past, in central park, but was too late to do so. Instead, he had helped Layna and Ceons child. Also, he had once been in love with Meredith, who was also a Lycan. It was no secret that Veroen no longer harbored any ill will towards Lycans, regardless of the fact that he was once a skilled Deathdealer, an assassin of Lycans. It was this plain and simple fact that kept Veroen from driving a silver dagger through this woman's chest. As a very old Vampire who had one of the strongest connections to the Void in the country, patience was something that Veroen implemented into his life on a daily basis.

He eyed the drink that Jacqie set in front of Rogue, and let out a sigh, while taking his cigar, and snuffing it out on the ash tray in front of him, causing a cease of smoke from his end of the table. Veroen planned on taking the drink himself, but before he could do so, Rogue took it and downed its content. He looked at her with a cautious demeanor, waiting for some sort of reaction. If the concoction was poisoned, he would most certainly slay the Lycan girl, regardless of how Ceon felt about it.

His eyes darkened, as the Void gripped his insides, urging Veroen to let it free. Below the table, one of his pistols manifested out of the Void into his hand, out of sight, and he gripped it tightly. No one would have known besides Alexz and Rogue, and that was because they were the only other Void users in the bar who would be able to sense the Void being used. It was loaded with a rather potent batch of silver nitrate ammunition, which could easily kill a Lycan of low rank. The entire fate of this fragile treaty hung in the balance of these short moments, all because a Lycan girl decided to be cocky towards a few of the most powerful Vampires in the city.

Veroen kept his eyes on Rogue, watching her with intensity, waiting to see if the Lycan girl had indeed poisoned it.

Jacqueleen's eyes flashed with gold as the older vampire decided to trust instead and she grinned widely with pride. So the old dog can learn new tricks? She was excited about that fact but as soon as Rogue put the glass back on the table, Jacqie had disappeared instantaneously without warning. For the other older vampire male sitting next was so focused on the bourbon-drinker, she had a moment to slip away to cause a scare-tactic.

A few minutes passed and everyone began to notice that the liquor, was only a liquor. As they calmed down, Jacqueleen rounded the corner from the dance floor and smirked setting a bottle of coconut rum with some juices and cups & a bucket of ice as her apology mark for screwing around with the tired old bastards. She chuckled softly and nodded to the brave vampire, as she motioned to an extra seat "May I?" with utter manners and smirking, she continued her question with, "...I'd like to enjoy a drink with the brave vampire....a trusting vampire." she stated boldly to her and narrowed her eyes in excitement, for she herself has never met a vampire that has trusted before like she had.

It truly amazed Jacqueleen, for all the horror she has seen from a vampire before, that this one had truly taken the challenge and showed loyalty and trust in just one simple choice. Amazed, even if they disregarded her existence and incorporated her none at all, she was happy to be in the presence of these people. She had a few ideas herself because she was savvy at knowing herbs and the land, even if she's only been around once. She was a strategist (being the fact that she's always had to fight by herself) and not easily fooled by others tactics or wiles. That's why she picked up on their conversation so quickly; always listening, watching & observing. Regardless of how obnoxious she was, it was her diversion to absorb any information they betrayed. She was good at that and if these people were as loyal as they had just shown....she considered, maybe Jacqie has found a permanent home.

(sorry...got shot down by this girl...)

Ceon, now fully aware of this arrogant lycan female listening in, now communicated to the vampire elders through his mind. "I'll allow a small team to accompany me to the body provided you trust me with a small group of my own to bring along...should there be more still scouting around the area." Upon hearing the lycan speak up and interrupt their conversation, his fists clenched upon the table. The cigarette in his mouth turned to ash in a flash, followed by a massive plume of smoke that spewed out his nose. He tried to resist slashing this insubordinate's throat, and quelled his rage to a more mellow point of anger.

That was until she dared to have Rogue take a drink. Ceon shot the elders a look and said "If she tries anything, you have my permission to dispose of her." Ceon wasn't about to let his reputation as the new Alpha Male be tarnished by an unruly straggler with not a single drop of common sense. As Jacqueline approached the table, Ceon whipped up out of his chair and stood in front of her, towering a couple feet above her. "You're way out of line. This is not the time nor the place to act like a drunken idiot. If you value the survival of our f*****g race then you'll go back to your bar stool and mind your own business." A snarl breached the corner of his mouth as Ceon whipped out another cigarette and lit it.

Bring them along. That sounds fine.
She spoke to Ceon into his mind.

Rogue looked to the other two Elders.
Looks like I'll live another day. She spoke into their minds through the connection they all shared. She took a long drag on her cigarette. Rogue had a feeling Ceon would deal with Jacqueleen later, even though Rogue was pretty sure Jacqueleen considered the move she just made a gesture of peace.

"Now, Ceon, if you'll excuse me, I've another matter to attend to."
She stood and nodded politely. She had to speak with her brother who had been patiently waiting for her in her office. She had the aftermath to deal with what had happened to Xandra, and she had a feeling this was not going to
go well.
