Our Villian car, The Il Tempo Gigante.
Il Tempo gigante is a full scale model built from the original design of kjell Aukrust. It was used in the making of the highly successfull film 'Flaklypa Grand Prix, wich according to Caprinos studies had record box-office sales in Norway, to such an extent that only six months after the film is released, over half the country's population had seen it.
"Il Tempo Gigante" is equipped with two engines. The forward mounted one has 12 cylinders in V, which, at 11,000 revs per min is capable of producing 800 b.h.p Running at the same time is a rear mounted turbo engine with 8 electric carburettors, which at 18,000 revs per min produces an extra 1,200 h.p. Between the two of them they produce a vibratonthat if measured on the richter scale, would give the equivalent result to a 5.3 earthquake.
Special equipment:Radar: Supplies information about the camber and curve radius of the roads.
Television screen: Mounted on the dashboard, it helps by giving the driver a clearer view of whats happening behind him.
It is also equipped with an anemometer, two speedometers, barometer, a height indicator, an echo-sounder and two rev counters, rotary hydro-valves and blood bank as an added extra.
It weighs 3 tons, measures 6.70 metres (22 ft. approx) and accelerates from 0 to 100km per hr. in approximately 6 sec.
