He couldn’t say that had Micha waited to hear him out things would have turned out better. He liked to think it would have at the very least avoided this situation. Micha hadn’t been the only one that didn’t know how the other was feeling. From his perspective Micha seemed pissed off for telling him all this in the first place And with each of his questions he only seemed to get more pissed off. Samuel had worried that it had been his prying that led to Micha running off yesterday. When they were together before, he knew that Micha drank but he never saw it as a problem. He didn’t know where this idea of him silently judging him for having a drink came from. If he was so judgmental about others drinking habits he wouldn’t hang around the bar in his club.
When Samuel spoke again, he was still confused by the way the man misread him so much. He thought by now he would have known all his quirks. He listened as the man questioned him again and reached to take his hand. ” I think…it was very brave of you to tell me how hard it was for you. So thank you for that. Also, …I think we just need to stop listening to the anxiety ridden voice in our heads that want to believe everything is going to s**t. If we had just kept talking like this yesterday, we would’ve been fine.” he said. Samuel gave him a small smile.

Sitting beside the man, he took his hand as they continued to speak. He was happy that Micha was trying to share more with him. He knew it wasn’t easy for him to do. Just as Samuel struggled with sharing his own thoughts and feelings. He continued to hold his hand as Micha turned to question him in return. ”They’re annoying little bastards…but I’m working on it.” he replied. He knew they had yet to talk about his most recent panic attack. Frankly he preferred if they just left it alone. But after so much talk about Micha’s depression, alcoholism, and suicidal episode, he didn’t think he was getting off so easily.

It wasn’t easy talking about his panic attacks. Often times he didn’t remember what triggered one or why it happened in the first place. This wasn’t exactly the case with the latest episode, at least he didn’t think so. It was hard to tell, even now what that was about. He hated that Micha had to see him like that, but he didn’t think talking about it would make a difference. As of yet, even his therapist wasn’t aware of that particular panic attack. When he said he was working on it, what he meant to say was that he was trying his damnedest to forget it ever happened. As the man spoke, he nodded. ”So are we back on the same page now? Do we hug it out?”” he said, joking a bit to help lighten the mood.

Eventually he was going to have to talk about and maybe by then he would have a decent answer to give him. Right now, Samuel couldn't tell him anymore about what he was thinking or feeling in that moment than on the day it happened. He felt it was best to just leave it. He got a little antsy and too wrapped up in his own head, that was it. As he joked, he knew that things weren't completely settled between them. He was sure at one point or another they would circle back to this conversation and attempt to add on to it. Whether those would be successful or not he couldn't say. As he offered the male a hug, he watched him shift in his seat and turn as he teased him. Samuel smirked. "What, my earlier kiss wasn't good enough?" he teased back. With his free hand, Samuel caressed his cheek and brushed back his hair. He then slid his hand back down the males jaw to his chin, grabbing it with his thumb and index finger, and pressed a soft kiss to his lips.

With their conversation over for now, Samuel didn't mind the males' teasing. If anything he felt a bit better knowing they were back to something light and playful. He in turn couldn't help teasing him back as he smirked. Samuel watched him shake his head and listened as he continued to tease him. He playfully rolled his eyes and caressed his cheek before taking his chin into his hand. Drawing him close, Samuel kissed him softly. He felt Micha kiss him in return as he leaned into him. He slipped a little closer as he kissed him once more earnestly. He felt himself calm, not having realized just how much he needed this, needed him.

In all honesty, he didn't know what he was going to do for the rest of the evening. He hadn't foreseen Micha coming over and was originally going to go in to work. But now that he was here, he wanted to blow it off and spend time with him. Especially now that they had been able to talk in person, he didn't want to be rude and tell him he had to go back home. As he kissed him a second time, Samuel slid a closer on his stool. It wasn't long before he felt Micha pull back. He opened his eyes just in time to watch him slide off his stool and step into the small space between his legs. He moved his hands to the males waist and accepted his next kiss. He kissed him back passionately, wanting now more than to savor it. No longer did he want to think about their miscommunication and bad assumptions. He didn't want to fight with him any more. His hands smoothed over his sides as he held, not even a full day and he had missed him so dearly.

Holding onto the male, they continued to kiss. The taste of his lips, the smell of his scent, the press of his body. He felt Micha's hands sliding up his chest. Samuel wanted nothing more than to scoop him up into his arms and hold him. He knew he wasn't helping by avoiding these conversations, but he also didn't want to repeat any of their past mistakes by just blurting out everything and hurting one another. They both clearly needed the support as well as a break from the topics. The night was still young, they could come back and try again. Preferably in an area with a better seating arrangement than the kitchen had to offer.
