Jebem ti zivot! Ode sve u kurac... She had seen Ceon enter, and saw Alexz's attempt to shield him.

Rogue finished her glass, and set it on the bar.
As Katarina got up to leave, her insides raced. "Thank you, Katarina. I'm glad you came for a visit, and perhaps we can have a more private conversation, soon. Enjoy your stay in New York..."
She nodded her head, and flashed a sultry grin to Lucien as they left. Appearances were appearances. But her eyes didn't stray from Katarina as she walked directly past Ceon, not giving him a second glance. Their treaty was fragile, and knowing Katarina, she half expected to see a blade in Ceon at any moment.
She held her breath as she watched Katarina leave Las Noches.
Ceon had no idea that he was within an inch of death. For a slight moment she wondered if she had indeed gone soft, and if tolerance would be her downfall...For a moment she saw red, and her rage stirred. She wanted to bathe in blood but she would settle for alcohol in this moment.
"Jackson, I am going to need that bottle." She was referring to the bourbon she had offered to Lucian and took off the cap and poured a full glass, downing it, and pouring another.

Ceon slammed his final shot glass down on the table and wiped his mouth. His breath smelled of alcohol but it was nowhere near enough to get him drunk. I didn't even bother to look at Alexz, but acknowledged her presence by communicating telepathically If Rogue wishes too be true to her blood oath, then I should have no trouble with anyone in here. I need to speak with her now. The Alpha Male could smell all of the vampires in here, at least 95% of the beings in this bar were. He made up 3%, a drunk human girl at the end of the bar made up the last 2%. He could smell Katarina's anger, her hatred as she walked towards the door. His left hand had been on one of the many pistols hidden inside of his coat since he picked up her scent. Vampires, especially this one, seemed to have a habit of underestimating the seven foot tall lycan. They eventually came to learn otherwise.

((OOC: Well my drunken posts arent so bad, but my hungover posts are. LOL))

Veroen was quiet as Katarina spoke, asking if he was a slave or an orphan. He wondered what an assassin could be considered. After a moment, he took a drag off his cigar, deciding that 'neither' would be the most truthful answer without letting on what he was, but before he could answer he noticed Ceon walk into the bar, and immediately following was Katarina's response to the spectacle. As she apologized for the abrupt departure, Veroen was silent, and gave a slow nod, and watched her walk towards Ceon, feeling her hatred and urge to dispose of the new Lycan alpha. He was still, and watched her cautiously as she walked by him towards the exit, and he waited till she had left before taking his eyes off of the door, and returning them to Rogue.

"My my, she's so racist." Veroen said sarcastically when he was alone at the counter with Rogue. Seeing Rogue down a glass of the bourbon, he decided to do the same, pouring a glass for himself with his Cigar still in his mouth.

"I suppose we have a new problem now." Veroen said, in a slightly muffled tone from the cigar in the corner of his mouth, to Rogue, aware that Katarina and her friend were bound to cause more issues in the near future.

He plucked the Cigar from his mouth with one hand and down the glass with his other hand. He smirked at the unlikely-hood of their predicament as he set down the empty glass with yet another soft click.

He then glanced back towards the front where Ceon sat, with Alexz next to him.
He then mentally sent a message to Alexz, saying 'Well I suppose we have another problem that I'm sure will arise in the future... Why dont you bring our Lycan friend over here so that the four of us can have a chat.'

((OOC: Vampires frequent the bar, and some lycans do as well...but a great majority cater to humans. I'd say 15% are vampires on the norm, and other species mixed in, aka Tainted/Lycans. It IS the hottest nightclub in NY, after all. And its not just strictly some goth club, though it has its darker moments. Its a rather large establishment...and for 95% to be vampires...that'd be like, over 450ish vampires...which...isn't...true... And the upper levels cater to different functions. It is just more secret about the catacombs beneath.))

Rogue downed the second glass, and poured another. She lit a cigarette then and took a long drag trying to think everything through. Rogue looked down the bar to where Alexz stood and waved two fingers for her to bring Ceon on over. They were all going to have a little chat.

"Katarina...is beyond racist. She is an elitist. And she has the ear of several powerful leaders in older covens in Europe. Through her own words alone, should could single handedly cause the destruction of how we live here, and how we live somewhat...side by side with the other species. In fact, we've benefited greatly in the past by the leadership working together. In truth we'd be fools to submit to the old way of life. Not to say I don't want to flay our dear friend Ceon alive at the moment..."

She took a long drag on her cigarette and the a long drink. She set down her glass and poured more into Veroen's.
"In truth, I think we've all grown to have a lot to lose so we need to be more cautious than we've ever been."

"Rogue being true to her blood oath does not guarantee the compliance of others who are unaware and not involved. After all, despite all oaths and promises, our treaty was compromised by individuals who did not wish to honor it. Your blood oath will not stop them even in this club," she reminded him, before turning towards Veroen and Rogue.

"Now that things are significantly safer, you may join us," Alexz said aloud over her shoulder as she weaved through the patrons gathering along the bar to the spot where Rogue and Veroen sat.

Coming up alongside them, leaving space for Ceon, she mumbled, "It is remarkable how after centuries some vampires stay exactly the same. Their lack of progress is astounding."

Sighing, she removed a cigarette, which she delicately balanced on her lip, from an intricately carved silver cigarette holder she herself had crafted. After lighting it, she delicately balanced herself on the edge of a barstool, ready to jump up at any instant should anything occur.

When the Lycan entered the club her eyes hit him immediately. He obviously know the small group of Vampires that he was talking, though just for precaution sakes her eyes continued to stay on him. Ready for any kind of discomfort or a sudden urge for anger. Sine she was sure that no one wants to see a fight, her eyes turned to a soft baby blue for comfort and calmness. With her sight locked on the group, she made their moods a little calmer and more gentle when it came to talking with each other.

Evelyn ordered a glass of red wine, nursing the alcoholic drink for too much would alter her powers. Then again wine didn't do as much as straight liquor, her powers were still developing. There was always room for improvement. Even if the power was at it's highest mark, nothing was ever perfect until proven otherwise.

Rogue took another long drink and began speaking, knowing Ceon could hear every word. She continued to look at her glass, her finger tracing the top of it. She didn't trust the beast that was edging the surface within her to behave so she kept her eyes down knowing the rage that was building must not be shown. Her voice was low as she spoke.
"Now. We have made an agreement that I have called of my teams, and you have called off yours. If I warn you of something beyond my control, that is no concern of mine. As a...business partner," she chose her words carefully knowing she might be overheard. It was unlikely, but in the rare case that she was she continued.
"As a business partner, I'd advise a more private meeting in the future."
Rogue then spoke into his mind, and opening communication between him, Veroen, and Alexz so they could all hear her words without any chance of being overheard.
You were near death by merely walking into this place, and now you are on the radar of a purist vampire....Alexz...show him images...Rogue let Alexz extract the images from ages past of the endless slaughter of pack after pack of lycans...merely for existing.
She lives to eradicate your kind from the planet with no exceptions. Now she has a face. She cares not for loss of life in your clan or mine...she only cares about the death of all lycans everywhere and those associated with them.
Know that spreading information of our blood oath might have it's price. And be warned that Katarina is far out of my jurisdiction.

She poured another glass of bourbon, and took a long drag on her cigarette, taking her time blowing the smoke out.
"Now what news brought you here?"
PostPosted: Wed Feb 20, 2013 8:24 pm

Lucien simply sat there, drinking his alcohol as the others played nice with each other, listening in but appearing to not pay much attention. As always, he let Katarina do the talking and simply sat in the sidelines, letting himself drink the alcohol in peace. After a bit, Katarina's friend offered a bottle of significantly higher quality bourbon, to which he replied with a typically charming smile and a nod in thanks. It did not take long for the cowboy to down his first glass of the drink, nodding in approval. He remained silent as the others continued to talk, a fly on the wall enjoying his alcohol. It was soon that the group was getting a bit large for his comfort, but that did not bother him as much as the werewolf that walked in, its scent causing his nostrils to flare upward in disgust. He immediately turned his head slightly in the dog's direction, staring at it through narrowed eyes. Naturally, the creature did not just bother him, but it clearly disturbed Katarina. As she quickly rose, abruptly ending the meeting, he also stood, quietly. following after the woman and stepping in sync with her, the spurs at his ankles rattling with each step.

Felicia threw back the last of her Cosmo and plucked out the cherry. She speared it with one sharp canine and chewed morosely, having given up on any more pleasant conversation. The club was as dead as the vampires occupying it.

She sniffed and cringed. And the male lycan at the bar. His scent was offensive to her senses, but also startling. It was time to leave anyhow; she really needed a good, bloody hunt. Maybe the streets held more excitement for her. The alcohol had gently dulled her sensibilities and she was up for anything.

Trying to prevent drawing attention to herself, Felicia slowly rose and sauntered around the bar toward the exit, slinking around everyone between her and the door.

Once things began to die down, her eyes returned to her normal hazel color. Finished her wine and got up from her table. Bidding farewell to the bartender with a small tip, she passed everyone at the club and exited out the door.

((I'm re-posting this intro for one reason only: I am some serious & personal issues come up && I had to be "an adult" so I had a lot of time away. Please excuse my absence everyone smile - I hope no one minds, I'm just throwing myself into the mix, feel free to engage me however: fight/argument/joke/ threat/attitude/flirt or just be my drinkin' buddy hahaha! ))

A gust a wind swung the door open slowly and the sway of her hair followed her steps. Jacqueleen slipped through the door like a feline (how ironic & contradicting!). Her eyes scanned quickly the area and she smirked slowly and found a little bar stool just for her, located closest to the dance area with the music right behind her if she so chose to sit there.

Making her way toward the seat she watched the wholeness of the club coming together. Watching the civilians chitter & chatter about these weeks dramas and news. She chuckled at the humanity of it and winked at the body guard who would steal glances of her while performing his duty. He only shied away. Jacqie quickly resumed her tread toward the bar and placed herself comfortably, crossing right leg over left & and thumping her thumb against bar steadily to the beats until the bartender caught on to her seductive glare she directed at him. He sluggishly walked over and glanced down at the bar as she continued her thumping and locked her eyes with his. She grinned wider and giggle softly and with her slight French-tinted voice, "Would you do a girl a favor...?" and he nodded once to her and Jacqueleen leaned forward slightly, "..and giver her the Sex on the Beach she wants?" and chuckled once more, pounding her fist on the table, as she broke into laughter of her own joke.

With the joke realized by the bartender, she quickly had that Sex in a glass in her hand. She wriggled back in forth in her seat as "Bad Girlfriend" from Theory of a Deadman clicked into progress on the stereo and she clicked her boot against the chair as it continued. Surveying the area and hoping for a chance of conversation and a long night of drinks, since she's found herself in this moment of New York City. Her mind trailed, '...might as well enjoy it while I decide to make this my home for the moment.' and on and on her mind filled with memories of previous homes.

She remembered specifically the old couple who had taken her in when she had found herself ran-sacked by alcohol (again! That crazy b*****d alcohol!) and gave her the night & dinner of her life when she stayed as a homeless person would have, in a comfortable wooden cabin of welcoming arms who had no idea of her actual identity and she named herself 'Chloe' that night....one of many nights she engaged in a role play of lies. It was interesting to see how sympathetic some humans could truly be for others when they didn't know the truth at all. It must be nice to live in a wooden cabin, safe from the injustice of truth and constantly living in the bliss of ignorance.

Jacqueleen turned off the deep-thought mode to continue listening to her favorite song of all time. Even if humans were pathetic and aimless, she really loved the things they created and then suddenly the atmosphere had shifted one too many times in her mind and remaining aware, unbeknownst of those who crowded together as if there was a VIP that Jacqie had no idea about. She only perked up her head & scanned the area once again, finally realizing it wasn't just the civilians in here with her.

So curiosity slipped into her mind and a slight smirk slinked across her lips and she she watched the intensity of everyone and the stress, how it just engulfed their minds. Jacqueleen simply leaned back in her seat, as the music roared to a harder sound she bobbed her head back in forth, simply just to get a better view and listen to what everyone is becoming so uptight about.

Ceon glided over to the table and spun a chair around so that he could sit. With arms crossed over the top of the seat and looked at Rogue. "So you're just going to let your minions run around New York with guns blazing until something happens to one of my pack? I can understand if they're not part of your coven, but you must understand, that my lycans will not be held responsible for any anti-lycan activities that these outsiders participate in. I have fought far worse than your kind, things that would make you beg for death. I am not afraid of your kind nor any other race."

The alpha male pulled out a pack of Marlboro Reds and lit one feverishly. The nicotine felt nice, and the rings he blew out were always so interesting to him, like tiny moons. "I have a fresh body from whatever group started all of this waiting in my apartment. I figured you might like it for analysis. My lycans will be taking their territory back quite soon. Have any of you found anything out?" He took a long drag of his cig and blew the smoke out through his nose.

Rogue took another drink while he spoke. Her rage flickered beneath the surface, and the Sanguinarian beast within Rogue taunted her with images of a dead Ceon...Let me kill him...just release the reigns, Kaei...just enough, and let me roam free...His blood is like wine...you know that from experience...we can bathe in the spoils.... She closed her eyes for a moment, her head tilted slightly as if she were feeling the beginnings of a headache. She took a drag on her cigarette then and opened her eyes, this time looking Ceon in the eyes, the green flame ablaze, but not in challenge.

"None of this is about fear. Its about protecting our assets. I have no doubt of the fight in you, Ceon. All I'm suggesting is that if we're not careful, ones we care about will end up will end up dead, first. She will make you watch while she causes a lover every last pain. She comes at you sideways, and too frequently one won't know it until it is too late."

Rogue thought to Xandra in that moment. If Katarina had her way, she would applaud Xandra's display not too long ago towards Ceon, and she would take her, letting her fully grow into the monster within. She'd probably even taint her with the void. She then didn't even want to think what Katarina would do to Xander...just to show Kaei the error of her ways and even to bring her back into the purist fold. Rogue shuddered at the thought.

"I would like that body you mentioned analyzed, though. I'll send a small team out to collect, if you'd like to show them to your place."
PostPosted: Fri Feb 22, 2013 10:09 am

Noticing the tension rising in the air, she flicked her head, this way & that to find it. Her hair bouncing softly as she did, her eyes discerned the two at the table, who both were equally drunk under the table. She let out a chuckle softly as they whispered "Top Secret" information in a public place, which most - if she was correct - not the best place where you should be spouting off about private s**t and she let out a heavier laugh this time around and mumbled, "Amateurs..." and her grin gave her away to the whole crowd and the bartender only clicked his teeth at her in disgust on her judgments and she only stared him down with enjoyment as she swigged the rest of her drink down and slammed the glass on the bar, "I'm sorry love? You wanted to get me another drink? Why THANK YOU!". Her giggles traveled across the room as she spun around on her stool and jogged over to the music to get another one of her favorites played: "You're going down by the Sick Puppies".

Jacqueleen inhaled with thrill as it progressed to her song and she faked a little air-guitar as if she was striking the notes for the song. The bartender had already placed her next drink up for her and she nodded to him as her 'Thank You' for it.

For amusement tonight, she turns herself around on her stool and stared at the two arguing beasts, just to make it obvious to them that they are being watched & heard. 'Maybe I can create a warning before they ******** everything up.' as she sipped her drink lovingly and just kept her eyes locked on both of them, she flipped out her cigarettes and popped out her four-leaf-clover zippo lighter. As she stared, she took her time lighting the cigarette, realizing 'This could end up in a fight.....nahhhh!!' she giggled once more softly to her own humor and continued her night, bobbing her head lightly as she continued her antagonism...

((Chimera11, I'm assuming the two you are referring to are Rogue and Ceon, who are also seated with Alexz and Veroen?))

"I'm beginning to believe that this 'You don't know the kind of things I've seen' mentality is specific to wolves," she said dryly into Rogue's and Veroen's minds.

She observed Ceon with a steady, emotionless gaze which did not waver as she spoke into the telepathic connection the three vampires shared. A steady stream of smoke, quite different from Ceon's smoke rings, seeped from her mouth as she took another drag.

"Nothing makes you beg for death quite like several centuries on this earth, Ceon," Alexz said flatly, "We're not warning you to frighten you, we're warning you so you don't do something incredibly and unnecessarily stupid," she paused before adding, "Now is no time to be reckless in order to prove a point. You need not assert your strength and bravery; not just any wolf can become the Alpha."

Sudden awareness of the attention they were receiving from a stranger across the bar made her shake her head. A wolf in a bar blatantly laughing at a group of the most powerful vampires in the city and her own pack's Alpha? Perhaps it was the alcohol, or perhaps it was in her nature to behave like an adolescent child, but either way, it was irritating.

Without looking in her direction, she spoke to Rogue and Veroen, "My patience with these dogs is beginning to wane."
