Bubba licked his lips. "Christ..." he muttered, blinking some, too. Now, looking around, Bubba began to really take notice of the changes. Like that stain in Kanu's shirt that, after repeated washings, was still visible, even if too faintly to notice otherwise.

Bubba looked away before she received the impression that he was ogling her breast.

To Morto. Ugh--gaze quickly averted. Bubba would not look at the tempting bottle of liquid gold, so instead, he glanced at his scar again. The scarred wound began to emit a very small ache, and Bubba wondered if that was the fire whiskey's doing.

It wasn't painful. Though Bubba would rather it have been. The giant kept silent, waiting for Kanu to tell him what was required of him next.

Bubba did not thank Morto.

I sometimes look up at the stars and wish I was them.

All ALONE... but in plain SIGHT...

But then I think of something...

Morto - a little peeved - wondered if he should make the eye in Bubba's skull come alive and gorge out his OTHER eye.

At the discreet, warning glance from Kanu, he mentally grumbled to himself and turned back to his latest invention.

Kanu turned back to Bubba, now a little peeved. Subject of interest was a hand, it seemed.

"Our client who hired us to get rid of that ridiculous Mafia girl has left," she stated simply. "The brat's in one of the holding cells - knocked out and drugged, along with that 'Angel' friend of hers. Our client needs to come and get them, and she needs to come and get them NOW. I will NOT have them stinking up my facility." Snarling, she turned away from Bubba, now beginning to pace. "All the information you need has already been downloaded to the eye - chase our client down and-!" She cut herself off before she could say something drastic. It was common fact that Bubba followed her orders to the letter. "Escort... her back to the city so we can drop off the baggage. I want her back where we can do business and I want her back now. Understood?"

It's really strange, I think...

When they're up there...

They're all ALONE. In the DARK. But everyone can SEE them...

It's strange when I look up at them...

Laura nodded and put it on. She felt a little awkward at first considering she hated doctors, but she told herself they weren't 'medical' doctors and to get over it. After a moment, her uneasiness went away, and waited for him to go in.

Tony went into the torturing room and walked over to the counter. He pulled a couple of medical gloves out and put them on while saying "sooo....Mr. Balechov. I hear you have some information you're not willing to share".


"I said I know nothing! Now let me go!" the guy said, struggling against the straps.


"Uhh...not unless it's an enemy gang" Giorgio said, "I guess we could say he was attacked while getting the coffee or something".

Laura walked in behind him and waited by the counter until she was needed.

"Nice to meet you." Laura said with a slight bow and malicious voice. She then turned to Tony and smiled. "Just say the word."

Laura nodded and walked behind him. She used one hand to pull his hair and the other to put on a nerve so he couldn't struggle without a lot of pain.
