Remus looks at Preston cooly. "I would give up my very existence for you sister if she asked it." After he said that, Remus walked out into the hall where he slumped to the floor, head in hands and let go a muffled groan. A passing nurse looked at him oddly, but she had a list of patients she needed to check up on.

a nurse pokes her head in "I need to give him some medicine, and its going to make him very sleepy." Jenna nods.
"We'll go get a hotel room or something and be back in the morning" She leans in and kisses him, and picks up Veronica, who mewls in protest but doesn't resist. "I love you." "and I you."

Kayla's sweetness and nearness eased the pounding in his head somewhat. It still hurt, but not nearly as bad.
