"There are many kinds of strength in the world though. What's important is what you do with y--" My sentence is cut short by a cry from Salamence. I turn around to see what the problem is, and spot him flying off towards the water. Seconds later, he dives at the ocean and comes back carrying the unconscious Tommy. My dragon sets the boy down near the trees.

Tommy grunts in disapproval at having left the water, the only conscious thought he was having. Tommy slowly woke up to find himself marooned on a desert island. "Eh?" He says, before blinking several times.

"Um... Wow... Tommy?" Shaydas asked. "Is he usually this... strange?" He was genuinely confused by this guy. He shook his head, putting it out of his mind for now. "Think we should help him?" he asked Thard.

"I think he'll be fine. He's pretty good at recovering from injuries, given a little time." Salamence decides to have a seafood snack and goes fishing.

"Ah," Shaydas said understandingly, "I will let sleeping Houndoom lie, then." He watched the Salamence fish its dinner from the sea, somewhat distracted for a moment.

"There was something... something about... Salamence..." Tommy pondered his muttering, trying to remember something important as he watched Thard's Salamence fly off to fish. "Something... about a cave?" Tommy shrugged as he propped himself sitting down, legs out, against a leaning palm tree trunk.

Shaydas couldn't resist the opportunity to pick up a chunk of rock and throw it at the tree Tommy sat under, dropping a rather irate Pineco into his lap. "Three. Two. One. Now," the Lucario counted. The Pineco cried out, then exploded. "Didn't see that one coming," Shaydas laughed.

Foxx Sevren Shaydas couldn't resist the opportunity to pick up a chunk of rock and throw it at the tree Tommy sat under, dropping a rather irate Pineco into his lap. "Three. Two. One. Now," the Lucario counted. The Pineco cried out, then exploded. "Didn't see that one coming," Shaydas laughed. Unfortunately for Shaydas, Tommy had phased out through a SIV portal.

"Hey now, let's not involve innocent Pokemon in a prank. Use your own Pineco next time." I give Shaydas a sly wink.

"I was aiming for a coconut... or a Forretress," Shaydas smiled. "Well, it's getting late and my team must be getting a little lonely. I'll see ya later, Thard." With that, he left.

Since the beach seemed deserted, save for the unconscious Pineco and Graveller, I felt that this was a good time to depart as well. "Salamence!" I call to my pokemon. He lifts his head and turns around, the back half of a fish sticking out of his mouth. "We're leaving, so hurry up."
My dragon finishes eating that fish and comes back. I hop on and we soar into the night.

Treecko hopped through the palm trees. Not many people were still around. "Oh Rex, maybe it wasn't a good idea for you to leave."

Nick sighed, walking into the HQ. "Hello." he blankly said, gazing through his Pokemon. Spotting the Notched-Ear Pichu he had caught earlier, he wondered how unique it was.

Shaydas tripped through the teleporter and fell into the common room, rolling to a stop at Nick's feet. "Hey, Nick," he said cheerily. The Lucario jumped to his feet and brushed himself off.
