Tommy happily swam in the ocean, the rain pounding down onto the surface of the water as he dove down, sprang up, did aerial and underwater tricks, and was himself. As far back he could remember, the ocean was his life, and nothing could change that. Team Aqua was the right choice.
In his antics and laughter and fun, Tommy failed to notice the rain lessen, and then surge back as strong as it had been when it first started.

Luna jumps when she hears Nick's voice enter the scene. "N-Nick!" she stands up quickly, brushing the sand off of her pants with quick, striking motions. She hears the rain picking up again, hitting the trees behind her and the sea before her. To her, it sounds like two orchestras playing together at two different tempos and yet they still kept perfectly harmonic with one another. "Is, there something you need?" She asks over the music.

Pop floated carelessly behind Nick while he stood before Luna. "Yes. We need to talk..." he said, grabbing her shoulder. "I... Am very sorry about yesterday." he bit his lip nervously. "In fact..." he started...

Luna's eyes shift to the side and her head tilts to her left, she listens intently, not bothering to ask him to continue.

"Ah!!" Tommy suddenly yelled out from the ocean waters, which was drowned out by the roar of the waves and the torrential downpour. He had been caught off guard by a giant wave, and was sucked into the trough. He was pulled upwards in to the crest of the wave, and dragged along towards shore.
Reaching the shore, the top of the wave crashed violently into the sands, sending Tommy cartwheeling into the sand, skipped a few times, and then rammed into a tree, about 20 ft from shore. It was that big of a wave. A sickening crunch could be heard, emanating from Tommy. That too, was drowned out by the noise. Tommy slumped to the ground, sprawling out on the mingling sands and grasses.

"Geez, Tommy," Shaydas snickered as Tommy crashed to a stop a few feet from him. "You are a klutz, huh?" He smashed his steel fist into a chunk of rock, breaking it further.

"Luna, you're very different." Nick yelled over the roar of the rain. "You..." he started, trying to find words to describe the feeling without sounding weird. "... I can't really describe the feeling..." he sighed, disappointed.

Luna steps up close to Nick, reaching her hand up to touch his cheek. A surge of emotions causes her to jump back. She shakes her head slowly, not knowing what to make of it. "I don't understand."

"What is it?" he asked a bit surprised she touched his cheek. It grew red and he shied away from her for a second, looking down nervously.

"W-Well... Why are you feeling so many emotions toward me?" Luna's face contorts to a saddened expression before she closes her eyes to slide on an emotionless mask.

"I... Don't know..." Nick sighed, looking at her. He noticed her expression go blank and he blinked, thinking he hit a bad nerve. "... Sorry..." he sighed, slowly walking away in the rain.

Tommy slowly came too, his vision obscured by rain rolling over his eyeballs and his face, mixing with a bright red substance into a runny paste that met the sand, dirtying it with blood. Tommy's vision swam, and made no attempt at movement or speech. It seemed he was about to... Tommy blacked out.

"Hm... lotsa low rain clouds down there. I wonder whose Pokemon is responsible?"
Salamence give a soft roar, as if to say, "I don't know."

Shaydas looked over at Tommy. "That's not good," he sighed. Hefting the boy onto his shoulder, Shaydas made his way back to the teleporter...

Luna quickly learns of her mistake, she runs out into the rain after him, hugging the boy around his middle. "I apologize, I thought... I thought that that was something humans did when they weren't sure how to express themselves." She remembers growing up with a lack of human interaction, or any kind of interaction until she stumbled into Blackthorn City and was taken care of by two elder people for three years. "Please still be my friend! I-... I haven't got many. And although I've only met you yesterday, it feels as though your the best friend I have in all of Aqua."
