Warren gave Eliot a look but didn't say anything. He wasn't one to pry, after all.

Moosntoen shuckled as the woman and boy left, and waved to Kat as she took to caring for the elderly man. People had been surprsingly recptive to thier little establishment, it was refreshing as well as stressful. Time for his next patient.

She couldn't breath, her chest felt like it had been crushed. She was torn up inside, blood flowed freely over the sheets. Her eyes were glazed with shock...

The Tarathiel-lich lay beside the Oracle, smiling evily and petting over the woman's body. "That hurt, didn't it? Makes me so very happy. Oh yes."

The orcs who ran isnide...well they didn't really realize that their backs were no longer covered. Otherwise they would ahve ran like the cowerds they were. They followed voices until they found their preay, and attatcked with vigor.

She merely waved her hand, "None taken. After all Drow do stupid things too, like sacrifice everyone to a goddess or randomly attack a fortress because I don't know something moved in one of the towers." She shook her head for a moment and sighed. Orcs were invading, well that was fun, now wasn't it? So they were getting involved in the battle. But then Piper's words stopped any bloodlust she may have been experiencing. "Alright. I'm not really in the mood to fight now anyway. All my energy was wasted on that rune mage earlier."

"From what I hear you two were getting along quite fabulously. By the way...don't mind Malik with it comes to Sevilin." Unlike Malik, she didn't want Zahara to bed Sevilin or vice versa, and she certinaly didn't want to have such and thing as a child being used to bind Sevilin here. Yes, she was workign against Malik in this endevour. The sooner she pissed off Sevilin, the sooner she could make him go away. SO keeping him and Zahara on bad terms was a good thing for her pruposes. "And I wouldn't go near Sevilin at all if I were you, especially with these instinct things. Why not find someone better than him...or at least less stressing."

"Like roaches."

Malik just grabbed the first on by the throat, and ripped it out. breakers were already going to work, and so were the necromancers. and Malik had not been kidding when he said the word 'plague'.

"Test it out. I want to see how effective it is."

So a necromancer let out a rat. one little rat, that ran around in the orc group biting and clawing. Malik's own were very, very careful to avoid it. poison and disease make a deadly combination. an inftected rat, which had the viral component in it, and it's claws coated in th poison part. the viral part was like the common cold, under normal circumstances. when it came into contact with teh poison in teh bloodstream, it became like a cancer, and ate quickly. of course without the poison, it was just a flu.

and back to killing. Hate orcs. so much hate for Orcs. beyond hate. Despise orcs. green, blue, brown, whatever teh skin color. hated them with a passion.

By the time they reached the two evles, only five had gotten past Malik's breakers and odd biological warfare. One rased an ax on the surface elf, the other swung a mace at the drow.

Damn orcs were forcing her to fight. She had no desire to fight but seeing her life being threatened sent that adrenaline rush through her. "He has his moment sure enough." It was said rather calmly while those daggers were whipped out and stabbed into various appendages of the orcs, shoving at them to force them to fall back down the stairs. "It's common knowledge I can't stand him and there's no love lost between us." Though she laughed, "And since when have I ever listened to Malik anyway?" She considered it for a moment and then shrugged, "I don't intend to sleep with anyone anyway, I'll just ride it out much like a storm." All said while hacking away at those orcs who had decided to come upstairs after them. Stupid beasts.

This was not her day. Sensitive ears all too easily picked up the sound of feet on steps and she had turned so her back wasn't to those steps anymore. Times like these, she wished she carried more weaponry on her at all times...she was going to end up like any drow wasn't she? Toting a weapon around constantly. "Oh good, no need to waste time on the idiots of the breed right?" Though she was pissed at the moment and a pissed Piper was good for battle. Easily enough a foot kicked out to the gut of the orc that had raised a weapon against her, looking to push it back for that scrap of distance before she all too easily whipped her bow around, nocking and arrow and sending it off with that ever impressive zing of an arrow leaving a bow. Then another doing much the same with deadly aim and lovely stairs as a backdrop. "Besides, Sevilin is too much of an a**...too much work to bed in my opinion."

another bow rang. yes, Malik still had his on him, and look at that, head shot for two. adn the last through the throat.

"Told you I coudl use a bow, dear."

though why wasn't there any sound outside? not orcs screaming, no rowdy goblins and such trying to bash down the door. so a look outside..and lots of dead orcs and goblins, with drow arrows in most of them.

"What in the.."

Okay, he was confused. Kimmuriel was just ranting about destroying him for the Oracle..and now the army there to smach his home to bits was gone? and at the drows hand. Son of Chaos indeed. So what was the real point to all that.

"I think if there is a Drow I really, really dislike. it's Kimmuriel. as unpredictable as a constipated kobold with rabies."

"Moving bodies are different than immobile targets, love. You'd be surprised how much different." Indeed, hitting something moving was different from hitting something stationary HAd taken her years of practice to hit both. Malik was trained for battle, so it seemed logical that he would be good at using a bow in battle. She was just hoping to show him up. Though easily enough, that threat was dispatched. And she took ot acting quite the Lady of the house. "And now, my floors are dirty! Someone get my damned floors clean, now!" Yeah she wasn't happy about any of this.

The rest of those orcs were all too easily disposed of between her and Piper and rather quickly she was ready to resheath her daggers. She did roll her eyes at some of Malik's ranting since she really wasn't in the mood to hear it. Wiping the bloodied blades on the bodies of one of the orcs, they made their way back into the sheaths at her thighs and she sighed, "If all the drama is over for the night, I think I'm going to go back to my studying until I fall into reverie. Good luck you two." She nodded to Malik and Piper who were arguing about some inane thing or another and took herself back to her room where she once again plopped down on her bed reading the book she'd been attempting to memorize before the disturbance had occurred.

Slaves went into action at her yelling. necro's took all the orc corpses for study, and the floor was already being cleaned spotless. Breakers were already clearing the fields and the grounds, eating some, and others of course being handed over for further experiments.

Malik of course gave a postively evil grin as Zahara went of to her room, and smirked at Piper.

"Don't think I don't know what you were trying to do."

PostPosted: Sat Mar 25, 2006 11:09 pm

Oh look at that, angered yelling did get work done sometimes it seemed. Well she'd do well to remember that. Though one of those innocent looks as she strolled down the stairs to join Malik by his side. A positively innocent look being played out as her hands idly fiddled with her bow. "Trying to do what A'mael?" And her attention focused on her bow again to keep that innocent thing going. "I love this thing, shoots smooth as silk."

"I know it does. a trueshot always does. and yes, I did sense that you are trying to discourage interaction between Zahara and Sevilin. I am rather enjoying baiting them both like worm on hooks, myself. it's amusing."

a light tap on her nose.

"And plans are still in motion. for hem and for us. we need to decide on a date. though this news of the Oracle being taken...if it was not a bluff..in disturbing. and it had to be Din. I can't think of anyone else with that easy an ability to gain access."

A frown.

"Should have gutted him when I found out whom his father was. but..we'll deal with that later. Now is time for us."

PostPosted: Sat Mar 25, 2006 11:27 pm

Okay a little frown from her on that fact that he knew what she was up to. "So what if I am, you may want him to stick around, but I sure as hell don't." Her ears and her patience were both tested and tired already. Though then she took on that helpless look she could get. "Set a date? Malik honestly, you just said it yourself. Apparently Meilikki is missing, which complicates things. And if Din is involved it makes it worse, set at date? How can we possibly set a date when war could still be going strong...fifteen years from now?" Okay, so she was a exaggerating a little...but hey she was upset about it. Whenever they seemed to try and plan for them, something happened. True to her own thoughts, fingers of one hand played with the engagement ring on her other hand.

"You think I would let a war stop a my wedding?"

A small kiss and a smirk.

"But...you want to see how well I fare with this bow on the archery range, I take it. then lets do that."

Of course, on the way, he grabbed one of the necromancers that was doing cleanup.

"The scientist with the glasses. the 'leader'. I want him brought to a Breaker room. then inform me when he's there. I have questions to ask."
