Remus smiled and seemed to laugh at his own joke. "Sorry, I couldn't resist, but you guys both look to be in such good moods I thought I should sour it a little. The truth is, you were probably halucinating. You may not remember it, but you took a pretty good hit there, it knocked the wind right out of you. Add that to the fact that you were in a state of near panic, and it can do some pretty strange things to you. I was on my way over when I heard the ruckus going on. I ran inside to find you being attacked, so I knocked the guy out before I headed upstairs. I found that guy trying to kidnap Kayla, so I grabbed her and ran. Sorry if i scared you."

i just told the police officer i did it so that Remus wouldnt be dragged into the whole thing.

a nurse walked out ummm... the family of Preston Rossi? over here! can we go see him now? yes if you follow me ill bring you to his room. they followed the nurse through a few hallways untill they reach a room with Prestons name on it. they went in and he was laying down on a bed. Kayla your'e okay! me? im more worried about you! *goes over and hugs her brother lightly trying not to hurt him* well im deffinatly gonna miss the rest of the season!

~at the hospital~
"Mrs. Daine, your husbands awake, if you'd like to see him, I can take you to his room."
"Of course" Jenna says, she picks Veronica up, who opens her eyes sleepily, but stays quiet.
she goes in, and sees George, he has an I.V. in, but looks pretty good really
"Jenna!" "George, I was so worried" "Me too, Veronica, you got her back?" Veronica leans out and her mom hands her to Gorge who carefully tucks her against him. she leans her head on his shoulder, not fully awake. "Yes, Oh George, its been such a strange evening, and, I was just, I'm so glad your both here, that I didn't loose either of you." she tears up, and George holds her hand and gives it a squeeze "Hey now, its going to take a lot more then that to get me away from you, and no matter what, we will find each other, Right pumpkin?" he says to Veronica, who doesn't say anything, just smiles at him. He gives Jenna a look that can only mean: when we can be alone we need to talk about what went on.

*earlier that evening* “Did you see that?” a Boggan says as she see’s Kayla riding the back of Remus. “No, whaa! By the silver path!” “Tell me that’s not what I am seeing.” “If your seeing a Gryphon, I don’t think I can do that.” The two look at each other “I thought they were all in the dreaming, or extinct” “What would one be doing here, you don’t think…” he trails off the idea is just too much to contemplate. “Of course I don’t, but, what else could it mean, Gryphons don’t just wander around for no reason at all. What I want to know is, what was it doing with a mortal?”

Kayla wonders why Remus is hanging back and realizes he has never actually been introduced to Preston. oh, Preston this is Remus, my boyfriend. Remus this is my brother Preston.
