Is anyone else worried about the automatic sweet spotting the edge that is seen in the Demo vids?

Eh, I think it will work out. I liked the falling-catch ledge mechanic though.
I'm worried that they took it out to prevent ledgeguarding, and I think with that they may have taken out ledgehogging, one of my favorite strategies EVER.

Sauvie Is anyone else worried about the automatic sweet spotting the edge that is seen in the Demo vids? Eh? You're gonna have to give me a few more words I understand... I assume you're talking about edge-guarding in some way or form.

Do you still have to be facing the right direction?
I assume spikes are going to be easier this time around.

I assume spikes are going to be easier this time around. Watch the Video with Link vs Sonic on Lylat cruise, the Spin attack is used and half way threw it stops. Not sure about the direction needed though.

Not all characters need to be facing the ledge when using their Up-B. I think those would be: Bowser, DK, Link, C. Falcon, Ganondorf, Falco, Fox, Link, Young Link, Yoshi, and I think Jigglypuff.

This worries me, especially with the addition of the footstool jump.

Tatsuman Well, that makes spiking a lot easier. This worries me, especially with the addition of the footstool jump. Uh, no, that means you have less time to spike/footstool jump, cause they grab the ledge sooner. Also, sarcasm is invisible over teh interwebz unless you make it VERY obvious.
