(Um, this is Cowpuppy... xD)
I think the graphics are... all right. At least for the DS. I don't think going from extremely polished 2D to clunky 3D is the best choice, especially for this game which looked so amazing on the GBA, but considering how some other games on that system look I think they're decent. They're limited by the DS's capabilities anyways, which suck because the processing is split between two screens. The more I write the more I wish they'd stuck with the 2D.

Singsaith But... it looks kinda... sh**ty in comparison to the old 2-D graphics... I'm a little disappointed. I hope they improve them. Considering the game won't be released until next year, they have some time to try and optimize the art style. I read somewhere that the character sprite is actually 2-d, though that may be misinformation. And frankly, it would be hard to outdo the 2-d graphics they made for the first two games. I think the transition to 3-d could be a great opportunity for the series. If they can make it work, it would be soooo much easier to imagine a console GS game. I gotta say, the summons were pretty impressive. I hope there will be new ones, though; the ones seen in the trailer were all from the first 2 games. Frankly, I'm going to buy it even if the graphics aren't perfect, and so are you.

Well, duh. xD I don't care if it's the worst game in the series, it will be in my gaming collection at the earliest possible moment. The summons weren't bad, I guess. I feel like they would look better on one screen, with double the processing power, as opposed to being split between two like they are in the trailer. I kind of get annoyed anyways at things that are split. I mean, when the DS only uses one screen it has some awesome capabilities. Just look at FFIII (and now I guess FFIV? I stopped paying attention.) There is time to work on it though. Still, I will be disappointed if the graphics are not at the very least improved, because I feel like GS is a series that was always lauded for its graphics.
But regardless, it bears the Golden Sun name and therefore I am required to view it as though it were my own child.

I'm sure Griff will update it eventually and since the new game won't be released till next year there isn't anything to really update about yet.

Fret not, my friend!
Ah GS fanfiction, some of the better I've read I think. pirate The humorous ones are tops!
But gosh, I hadn't really read any fanfics in so long... You know I think I would rather be perusing doujinshi at this point. 3nodding
