⋮ ۩ ) • • • Waiting for Samuel to lead the way, he soon followed after him as he motioned him to follow. Micha followed Samuel through the foyer and into the living room. He listened as Samuel spoke about possibly ordering too much. Micha came around the couch to see the wide spread of food. He couldn't help but laugh as he moved to join Samuel on the couch. Micha watched as Samuel picked up the serving spoon and went about listing off the items he'd bought. "Mm, indeed it is a lot…Though I did say surprise me." He replied as he teased Samuel. Micha though couldn't help but take it all in. His stomach growled as he smelled the delicious food. He looked over the food not sure where to start first.

Leading Micha back to the living room, he moved around the couch to show him the absurd amount of food he’d bought. Beside him, Micha laughed and moved to take a seat. Samuel sat down beside the male and listed off everything he had ordered. When he finished, he turned his attention to Micha, who teased him. Samuel laughed and raised the spoon in his hand. ”In my defense, I ordered the Vietnamese food first while we were texting. So when you told me to order for you, I didn’t know if you would want what I got. Either way, feel free to take anything, there’s more than enough for us both.” he replied. Handing the spoon to Micha, he started to get up from the couch once more. ”Can I get you anything to drink? Coffee, tea, water, soda?”

⋮ ۩ ) • • • The amount of food Samuel had ordered was indeed too much, however he'd enjoy it nonetheless. He smiled as he teased Samuel while he soon explained his reasoning. Micha took the spoon as it was handed to him. He watched as Samuel stood, soon questioning him. "Um water would be great, thanks." Micha responded as he reached for a plate as well pulling it closer. He grabbed the chowmein first as he scooped some onto the plate. Micha grabbed the rice next.

Even though it was too much, he knew they would both enjoy it. There were enough options to keep them full and to save for later. Samuel felt a little embarrassed as he explained why there was so much, but knew the man would understand him all the same. He then passed the spoon and rose from the couch, inquiring about a drink. He nodded as Micha made his request. ”One water coming up.” he said. Straightening up, Samuel walked down to the kitchen and opened the fridge. From there he pulled out a bottle water for Micha and a bottle of coke for himself. Closing the fridge, he also grabbed them both a few paper towels and proceeded back to the living room. He took his seat once more and set the bottles down between them. ”Alright, we now have drinks, paper towels, silverware, plates, food, you. Am I missing anything?” he said, wanting to make sure that would be the last time he needed to get up for a while.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • While Samuel went to grab drinks, he loaded his plate up with lo mein, steamed rice, and orange chicken. It didn't take long for Samuel to return. He watched as Samuel returned, placing the bottles between them. Micha thanked him as he grabbed his bottle pulling it closer beside him. He picked up a fork and leaned back against the couch. Micha listened as Samuel questioned him. He shook his head, "Nope, I think that's everything." Micha responded as smiled at Samuel before he started on his food.

Resuming his seat, Samuel then questioned the male. He wanted to be sure that they had absolutely everything before eating so as to avoid popping back up every two seconds. Beside him Micha shook his head. He took note of him already helping himself and was quite pleased that he had indeed found things to his liking. Samuel smiled and nodded. "Good." he said. Taking his bowl, Samuel poured the broth. It smelled divine and made his mouth water. He continued to add in the noodles, beef, bean sprouts, Thai basil, and a few other garnishes. When it was to his liking, he set the bowl aside and piled his plate with fried rice and spring rolls. Everything looked and smelled wonderful, he couldn't wait to dig in. Samuel grabbed his fork from the table and started on his pho. He slurped up his noodles and could practically weep from how good it was. Samuel reached back towards the coffee table and picked up his spoon to scoop up some broth, slurping it up as well.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Micha relaxed while he sat there. He couldn't help having started on his food before Samuel joined him. His stomach growled as he sat there. Micha was likely to eat too much if he wasn't careful. He watched as Samuel went about gathering the ingredients for his meal. Micha had no interest in the pho. He wasn't big on the concept. Micha continued to eat as they sat there in silence.

Samuel didn’t mind that Micha had started without him. He had heard the way his stomach growled. Besides even with his share taken there was still plenty of food left. He went about making his food and started to eat as well. The flavors were all so rich and delicious. He didn’t mind the silence between them as he knew they were both hungry and busy eating. Samuel ate a little more of his soup before settling it aside. He then picked up his plate and grabbed one of the spring rolls. Taking a bite, he enjoyed the subtle sweetness of the crispy roll. After chewing and swallowing, he glanced toward Micha. ”What do you think?” he asked, referring to the food.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Micha wasn't bothered by the silence. He imagined they were both starving. Micha took his time eating, not wanting to overdo it too quickly and give himself a stomach ache. He watched as Samuel soon set down his soup to grab his spring rolls. Micha ate his orange chicken, soon hearing Samuel speak. He glanced toward him, "It's good, thank you." Micha commented, figuring Samuel was enjoying it as well.

They both continued to eat their food in silence. Samuel took his time enjoying each and every morsel. He didn’t often eat Asian cuisine but enjoyed it immensely. Turning to Micha he asked him for his thoughts. He smiled as the man commented and nodded. ”You’re welcome.” he replied. Returning to his food, he alternated between eating, drinking, and trying to not make a mess. The television continued to play in the background, he’d all but forgotten about the show he’d been watching earlier and wondered if it was a bother to Micha. For Samuel, it was just extra noise above the scraping of silverware and chewing and slurping coming from both of them.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Relaxing beside Samuel, he barely paid any attention to the television. He didn't even know what they were watching. Micha wasn't bothered by it. He grabbed his water, setting his food down and opening the bottle. Micha took a sip from the bottle as he sat there. He returned to his food picking it up as he closed the bottle of water. Micha started to eat again though slowed down as he was starting to get full.

He continued to eat his food, hardly paying to the tv as well. He’d barely been watching even before Micha got there. Samuel alternated between eating and drinking, taking his time enjoying his meal. He slowly finished eating his rice and spring rolls, setting the plate back on the table. He returned to his pho, but didn’t know if he would be able to finish it. He was already feeling full and didn’t want to push it. He took a couple of bites before giving in. Setting his bowl back down, he sighed heavily and leaned back against the cushions. The food was delicious and he wished he could eat more, but it was impossible. He would faster burst than take another bite.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • While they sat there, it wasn't long before Samuel soon put his food down. He could only guess Samuel was finished too. Micha didn't feel bad as he set his plate down. He had eaten most of his food except a few last pieces of chicken. Micha grabbed his water as he opened it. He downed half the bottle then closed it. Micha set his bottle aside as he relaxed beside Samuel. He kept his eyes on the television while he sat there. His stomach had been plenty happy to eat. Micha couldn't eat anymore even if he wanted to as well.

Try as he might, he just couldn’t finish his food. His stomach was tight and starting to ache. If he ate even just one more bite, it would be too much. Leaning back on the couch, he watched as Micha soon set down his own plate. He saw that he had eaten nearly everything on plate save for a few morsels. He didn’t blame the man for giving in. He had a fridge with plenty of space to store away the leftovers. He relaxed beside Micha, noting that for once he was actually watching tv. He wondered if now would be a good time to have their conversation or should he wait a little longer. Samuel sat quietly a few minutes thinking it over. He soon reached out towards him, nudging him gently, figuring to start off with something easy. ”So…did you get enough to eat?” he asked.

⋮ ۩ ) • • • Micha honestly wasn't paying much attention to the television. It was just pictures and sound to him. He mostly sat there nervous waiting for the next move between them. Micha could only guess what was on Samuel's mind. He sat there in silence but it didn't last long. Micha soon felt Samuel reach out to nudge him. He listened as Samuel soon questioned him. It was a neutral question. "Yeah, I did. Thank you." Micha replied, feeling awkward. He didn't like feeling the tension between them.
