I play 4th ed. It's really good, once you get past the changes. The Player's handbook 2 is a must, though. the barbarian, bard, and sorcerer were re-done fantastically.

Except that you now have to buy a whole other book in order to play them.
My group has over 22 3.5 books. I think we'll stick with that for a long time...

Aside, yes, I must agree, the PHB 2 is a must, as are the new books Arcane/Martial Power. They finally give us the Ranger with a Pet and so many other advances.
There are some changes that are still hurting, and the fact the game was dumbed down alot. Although one could argue that it has streamlined the game quite efficiently, thus less time in battle at the same time, everything was built around combat, in-which the game has few rules applying to out of combat situations. Its still the smallest things that piss me off. I have to rewrite and add so much s**t. gonk
