the new class they revealed is the Witch Doctor, and they have revamped the Barbarian, and added female avatars for Barbarian and Witch Doctor, so that leads me to believe that all the other classes from D2 will be available in both male and female... but I still miss my rogue from D1 crying

So far, it has been confirmed there will be 5 playable classes, gender selectable. So, with the Witch Doctor taking the place of one, not all of the classes from (non-expansion) D2 will be making it in, but Im willing to bet Witch Doctor will replace Necro, as it is a similar summoning/corpse exploding/soul stealing class. And an Amazon is basically just a female Barbarian anyway, so if you're still going for that aesthetic, it will still be achievable.

Im guessing there will be Barbarian(Strength/melee fighter), Witch Doctor (Summoner/Controller), Sorcerer (Magic Damage), Cleric/Paladin (Fortified buffer/healer), and probably Assassin (Bows/Dex basis for damage, either at range or in melee. Preferably both.)

Haha, yeah, that was pretty awesome. Especially since it just rips apart anything that walks into it.

Also: D1's Rogue was unstoppable with Windforce. I soloed Diablo on Hell without getting TOUCHED.

I'm way delaying posting Kael hauling Rain into the Firebrand, stripping off his armor and shouting at people 'bout how times a' wastin'. So I better do that before I go and possibly get Diablo II this afternoon.

I have DI around somewhere, but never got that far in it. If I get caught up enough in two I'm sure I'll install it just to plug through the one player for the story.

Edit: I missed the "up" in Dessi's post the first time I read it and was very confused for a moment.
