I think. I dunno if it f-s it up or is just insanely annoying, or both, but the point it, it's ultimately a useless piece of crap that only makes things more difficult than they need to be.
Compare to it to like, suddenly there's a full military law in effect, curfews, etc. that virtually kill all enjoyable things outside the house, just for the sake of minimizing crime, while the crimes still happen, just slightly less often. It's overkill for minimal benefit, and when you weigh the pros and cons, it's just not worth it.

I dunno, I see how it works together, the show and its happenings.
Sometimes it seems like its a bit too much, but its a fictional universe built on top of conflict and corruption, so what do you expect?

If his little experiment on Mando culture during the last rp didnt shout that I'm not sure what would.
Its strange though how there isn't as much wide-spread cyberization in Star Wars though.
