Did you see the movie or did you just read about it?

I have watched the movie. It's really funny. In a 'yeah right' sort of manner, it's hilarious. Most of the stuff that happened in it probably wouldn't have normally happened ever. I did like that some interesting new combos(Lee and Neji's primary lotus+Rotation was awesome!) and jutsu types(the ones that the main villain could use) were done. AND I completely agree the whole Chimera Technique was a simple way to say "Yeah, we need a way for the main villain to gain power pretty much instantly so let's give him a GOD status ability that basically let's him copy anything and have all 5 elemental chakra types.
I also find it funny that he wasn't able to copy the Rasenshruriken though. I mean he used the Rasengan right? *sigh* I love ranting on anime movies. They never make any sense. NONE OF THEM.

e_o The end made me cry, but that's because I'm a sucker for the main villains back story. He just wanted to be as strong as his friends. v.v
