Hey, I have a theory about it. There should be a program that gauges the time between posting, polling, and hitting a sponsor link, right? If this program crashes, then each action you take is considered to be right after the other. Eventually the gold earned from doing these things is brought down to zero. Since the program identifies with what a certain account has done, that's why it follows an account, even if you access it from a different computer.
