Kira laughed as they took off again down the beach. Someone I care about finally cares back. she thought happily to herself. I love this feeling! she added as her hair whipped around her.

Kira stopped and watched him silently, her ears perking as she listened. When he finished she sighed softly and smiled. "I don't have a song.." She replied quietly, after a pause. "But instead..." She leaned forward and kissed him, hugging him softly as she did so.

Shadow felt Kiras lips touch his and he was lost in a world of happiness. He hugged her gentle as they kissed. After a few moments, he looked at her and smiled. "I never expected anything in return. It was just the only way I could tell you how I felt." he said with a soft smile.
"But I still like your gift." he said as he kissed her again.

Kira smiled softly. "I'm so glad I met you..." she said quietly and as he kissed her again, she returned it. Her tail wagged slowly behind her.

"And I you." he said as he hugged her. "I don't know where I'd be righ now if I hadn't met you. And to think, I hated Chad when we first met. And look at what he's one. He's helped us both become happy, and I'm the little punks friend now." he said as he smiled at Kira. His face was alight with joy.

Kira hugged him back and smiled. "Chad was one of the first people I met here but I haven't seen him in a while. Things are getting a bit crazy around here..." she said with a small laugh as she rested her head on his shoulder.

Kira nodded and smiled. "Right.." She was so happy, so grateful that she had found this place, found him. Life was unbarable before but now it was perfect, just sitting there with him. She closed her eyes and sighed very quietly. Her tail moved softly side to side and the wings flexed once before settling on her back again.

Shadow sighed happily and kissed Kira on the cheek. He had never met someone so wonderful. He was glad that he had wandered into the school. He was glad that Chad had left Kira behind. Everything had turnout perfect thanks to his former plans which he had disregarded. He no longer thought of revenge constantly. He only thought of Kira.

Kira smiled and leaned against him, thinking of the last time she had been this happy. Her brother had been with her, comforting her when she was still tiny. As she thought, she fingered the locket slowly, her eyes swirling blue. But she closed them, shook her head, and smiled again to change them back to green. She shivered lightly, her cold wet hair draped around her and snuggled into Shadow.

Shadow felt Kira snuggle closer to him and took off his outer robe. He drapped it over her lightly to keep her warm and the hugged her. "Warmer?" he asked softly as he smiled gentle.
