Shizuka softly put her hand on the front of the tranquilizer gun, her eyes begging him to stop this nonsense. She didn't want anyone else to get hurt...
Except Marco...
But she didn't show that at all.

Faust nodded at Lyserg, who closed his eyes and squeezed the trigger. Faust was out before he hit the ground.
"Good job, Lyserg... I knew that you wouldn't hurt Jeanne-sama by disobeying," Marco said.

"Sorry," Lyserg said quietly. "I just don't want them to kill you..." he pulled the trigger and knocked Netsubo out with a tranquilizer dart. She fell next to Faust, and he hated himself.

Lyserg knelt and picked up Netsubo, pulling the dart out of her neck so that too much of the serum wouldn't get into her bloodstream. Two other X-Laws grabbed Shizuka and Faust, and they continued towards the woods.

((If you don't know Luchist, he's one of Hao's minions. He used to be rivals with Marco, because they both owned car dealerships in their former lives. Luchist's spirit ally, he claims, is Lucifer.))
Lyserg nodded sadly, then caught sight of Luchist. "You! You work for Hao! What are you doing here?!"
"It appears that your friends were also working for Hao... funny how times and sides change, isn't it?" Luchist asked.
