((Sorry for the absence....and please be patient with me for awhile...my life is slightly hectic at the moment))
"Some sunshine will be perfect for them. I'm sure the rest of the herd would like to meet them as well." Kipcha nuzzled Prince forward and pushed Lithea after him. Both of the foals wobbled, Prince having less trouble than his sister. Kipcha guided them out of the cave and watched as they took in the sunlight and grass. Lithea wandered further than Prince, but no more than a few steps away from him.

Diamond pulled at the new springing grass, full filling her hunger, as she gently swished her tail. Jewel stayed close to her dam and watched the herd, curiously but did not dare take a step forwards terrified of what the world held out for her. Her little short fluffy black tail swished side to side, as she watched her brother wander around, but didn't go to far. The hell horse curious Storm, making him go closer then he expected. He let out a little snort, sounding a little bit like a sneeze. His ears were straight forward, listing for what Evander would do.

Ghost trotted out of the cave fater Kicha and the foals, tossing his head in pride. The early morning sun shown warm on his back. He pranced alongside her and his colt and filly. They reached the herd and Ghost neighed loudly, announcing their arrival, prancing lightly. He halted amidst the herd and pawed at the ground. "We're back!" He said proudly.
Evander snorted loudly at the colt, startling him and he stretched open his dragon-like wings, blocking the sunlight from the colt's face. He turned his head to look at Ghost and Kipcha and their new foals. He smiled and left the Storm, walking closer to the foals, but keeping his distance. He knew Kipcha was weary of him and she was extra-protective of her new foals.

Storm suqealed in fright, his ears imdeitly going flat against his head, taking a couple of steps back. He fell, and quickly tried to regather himself before trotting quickly back to his dam and hideing behind her for protection. Jewel watched her brother hide, making her want to hide. She glanced slowly at the 2 new foals but ingored them and hid behind her dam, with her new brother. Diamond snorted softly, her tail flicking uneasily as she saw Evander. She nudged her foals behind her, standing more protectivly over them, her ears flicking back and forth.

Kipcha watched over the twins, not wanting them to wander further than a step or two. She saw Evander and was glad that he kept his distance, she wasn't trying to be mean, she was just being protective. "Evander meet the newset herd members. Prince and his sister Lithea." She nuzzled Ghost and watched the pair amble around them. Every time one of the two would fall the other would wait untill they got up, then start wandering around again. They stayed close to Ghost and Kipcha, often rubbing against them.

Diamond looked at Kipcha, Ghost and their new foals. She looked down at her newest foal and started to wonder again if Ghost and Kipcha would allow to have a strange new colt into the herd. After what happened with Casper, Diamond didn't know if he would let a young strange colt join the herd. She started to worry and nuzzled Storm, pulling gently at his forelock. Jewel pressed against her mother's flanks, and nudged her dam with all her strength. Diamond smiled, and nuzzled Jewel also, doing the same thing she did with Storm. Storm snorted softly letting his new mother nuzzle him. It felt good to be nuzzled again. He stood tall and walked to the other side were Jewel was and stood protectivly over his new sister as if he was afectily a brother. Holding his head up high, he held his tail high, like a proud arabian is father was, his bay ears straight up forward. Jewel looked puzzled at Storm and nudged him sightly. Diamond giggled seeing Storm. She smiled again happy that her foals were getting along. Deciding to go over to the lead members later, she went back at grazing, pulling hungerily at the strings of grass.

*Dreamcloud looked away to the ocean, she hadnt seen the white stallion ever since he had attempted to get her pregnant. She thought about it seriously, watching Ghost and the rest fixing their attention to Kipcha and her foals. They wouldent notice if I left...Maybe for just a little while..Just enough to find that stallion...She thought harder still..Evander can't take the hints, I might as well. She stood and walked a few yards away, past Diamond and all. She looked back and waited, watching the herd as well as the distant beaches. She walked a bit farther and a bit farther ever few moments, watching the herd to see if they'd notice. After a good 15 minutes she turned and trotted towards the ocean, in search of the phantomly white stallion with the pink eyes.*
*Moonstruck clung near her dam rather than going to sniff about the new foals. She watched, however, very closely and very intently.*

Ghost nickered and nuzzled Kipcha in return, watching his foals. His eyes then rested on the colt with Diamond, he didn't smell like her and it made him uneasy. He snorted and approached Diamond and her foals, lowering his head to sniff them. The filly was definetly hers, but the colt was not. He snorted and lifted his head. "He's not yours, is he..." He said quietly.
Evander smiled and sniffed gingerly at the foals. "They're beautiful." He said, smiling lightly. He sighed, he didn't exactly know how to respond to Dreamcloud's words...he figured she knew what she wanted. He turned around to say something to her and realized she was gone. Snorting he trotted off, sniffing her out. He followed her to the beach, but stayed hidden in the tree line watching her.

*Dreamcloud trotted lightly upon the land, springtime bringing new prance to her step and more definity to her frail body. She soon came upon the clean dampened sands and immediately saw the now mostly white stallion. Some red and pink stained his coat, and a huge nasty and new scar was plastered across his stomach and side, along with his scarred and uneven flank. She feared what could have done this, and it was most likely on the island. She approached him cautiously, with the feeling of being watched hanging thickly about her like sticky, humid air. She slowly walked towards him, lying on the ground.*
*As she got closer she noticed a large chunk missing from his rear end, and that his lower legs were swollen, that the fresh scars were horribly infected and swarming with insects she did not recognize. His eyes were open but gone, eaten out by flies, his mouth hung deadly open, abnormally. She knew he was gone and had possibly been so for a while. She jumped back a few moments after seeing him and backed away, turning and heading slowly near the forest. The wind came towards her, changing directions, and the smell of rotting flesh hit her square in the face, she shook her head and galloped back towards the herd. Snorting and trying to forget the smell.*

Storm looked at Ghost, as he sniffed him and snorted softly, swishing his tail but standing still to let the stallion sniff him. Storm stretched his gracefull neck out to sniff Ghost, his ears forwards curious of the the white peguause. He flapped his own small tiny white wings, smelling Ghost was the stallion. Diamond pulled her head slowly from the grass seeing Ghost approacing them. She looked at Ghost and snorted. "No..." "I found him in the bushes currled up. He had no dam and no stallion was nerby. I couldn't have just left him their to die! I had to do something." Diamond said quietly but the last word a little higher then the rest. Stoping her hoof she nuzzled Storm softly, turning her attention back to Ghost. "Your not going to chase him away are you? I mean at least not now..." She said quietly. Knowing that all colts in the herd except for the lead stallion would have to run the colts off once they were old enough to start their own herd. But Diamond hated that idea. She despide it.

Ghost sighed. "No, I won't run him off now...but as soon as he's capable, I will. I don't want a reocurring Casper..." He said, then turned and trotted back to Kipcha and hiw own foals.
Evander snorted and darted after Dreamcloud. "DREAMCLOUD!" He yelled once he had almost caught her. He quickly was ahead of her and he slid a stop, cutting off her path.

Diamond glared at Ghost as he trotted back to Kipcha. She snorted and nuzzled her colt resureing. "Your not going to be like Casper..." She said in a little whisper, nudging her foals, before taking off to a trot, to a new spot. Diamond could see Evander and Dreamcloud in the distiants. She hoped that the golden peguase would get her dream. Jewel pressed against her dam's flanks as she trotted next to her to shy of going to go meet the others. Storm however, took the lead trotting faster, ending up infront of Diamond.

Prince walked after his father, untill Kipcha called him back. Lithea had started nursing again, swishing her short tail. Prince joined his sister, eating greedily. Kipcha turned her head to watch them before focusing back on Ghost. "She doesn't like that idea, but all colts must leave someday." She watched the herd carefully, standing still for the hungry foals. They were both healthly, which was increadibly rare, but they were skinny and Lithea was the smaller. They needed all the milk they could get and she was glad that neither were fighting over the milk. She sighed and nuzzled Ghost. She was tired, but she had foals to watch.

Ghost nodded. "I know, but she's going to have to accept it. He's not her foal either way, and as soon as he's capable of fending for himself, I'm going to chase him out." He said, although he too didn't like doing that. It was like forcing a family member away. He chuckled and nuzzled Kipcha. "You're exhausted...I'll watch them if you want to get a bit a sleep." He offered.

Diamond slowed to a halt and then looked around to her sroundings. Seeing Jewel tiredly lay down, currling up into a ball, she whinnied softly for her dam. Diamond imdetly nuzzled her and currled up around Jewel to keep the mare warm. The little filly drifted off to a sleep. Diamond looked over to see Storm raceing around. She chuckled to herself seeing him trip and almost fall, but gathered himself up and contiued to race. She yawned tiredly wanting to get some sleep. But not untill her adopted foal was safe with her she would not go to sleep, and would just warm her filly up and nuzzle her every so offen. Diamond kept a great eye on Storm, but also thought of what Ghost would do. Thinking of Storm made her think of what she was thinking. Would Ghost really chase his own colt away?
