Chris sat in a chair staring at a Photo. "The base is deserted again. I was so hopeful. So much for that." Chris got up and looked into his coffe cup. It was full of little spider things that were crawling around. He left it where it sat. Looking at his Cat, who managed to live offfeild mice, He picked it up and stroked it. He walked over to the Hanger door and looked out. "Heh... It is the first snow of the season. Look Kitty..." Snow slowly falled from the sky as he stared out the hanger...

She walked out into the snow as the wind blew from the east she pulled her jacket closer. " This is unusual for a desert, but why it isn't bad... I know it will give our water supply will only last longer with the melted snow in it. The next thing is did I remember to cover the jets? " She stopped watching some snow fall infront of her nose and some getting caught on the lenses of the black tinted sunglasses. " Yes I did, and Bad Company still needs work.

Chris smiled as he walked along. The snow crunched under his feet as he walked. He set the cat down. The cat walked while twitching it's legs. Apparently afraid of the snow. Chris chuckled and looked around. He spotted Kaylee nearby. "Hmm... So there are others about." He waved to her. "Hey Kaylee!" He waved and bent over to make a snowball. He tossed it her way.

She caught the snowball with a turn and threw it back at him with a smile on her face. " you want to start something kiddo? " she seemed to disappear into the shadows casted on the snow as she now rose above the snaow watching him from behind.
