She hesitated, but reluctantly let him pass first.. No matter what anyone would say, she wouldn't deny what she felt in her guts... Because 99.9% of the time, that feeling was right...

((DON'T YOU REMEMBER?! Sora's supose to be short down in Du Welden...))

Fira took off, bearing due north to Ellesmera. Alianae looked almost mournfully down into the tunnel and sighed. "Let's go." she said, and walked into the tunnel. Her hand trailed along one side of it, tracing the gems and remebering the stories wriiten on them. It wounded her deeply to know she was not acknowledged as the Spirit, but then..the three of them were the Firsts. It was, after all, their fate. She stopped and waited for the others to catch up before going any further. Her hand traced the story of Eragon, the Blue Spirit.

Halbark and Kalco landed in front of the mouth of the cave.
This was built by hand? Impossible.
Yeah...and it looks a bit too big for me to fit.
You're not coming.
WHAT?
This place was meant for the Wardens only. Besides, I can't endanger you.
But-
Do as I say! I am your rider.
Halbark snorted.
Fine.
He took off in the air, following after Fira.Kalco, however, readied himself and entered the cave.

"Fine," Sora grunted, and continued walking, until he reached what looked like a door...probably brought along by Minae's spell. Looking back at Minasia briefly, he grabbed the doorknob and opened the door, walking through into the light.

Kalios walked down after Alianae, reading the greeting the caves left for him, written in rubies of blood red color. "How long does this go?" he asked Alianae, as his fingers trailed the walls.

((You mean attacked? Yes, I forgot...In fact, I can't find the Will of Alalea's later two chapters anywhere...))

((OMG... I don't have to GOOD version!!! crying Oh man... I have the totally delayed and absurd version that's not worth c**p... Well, just say he was shot, that minae was freaking out, protected them both with the green magick, then ordered high class healers to heal sora... There. Problem... solved??????))

'All the way to Ellesmera." Alianae replied absentmindedly. She turned to Kalco and said, "We need..a light. You are the only one who can use magick here. Create one for us to see by." Her hand still trailed the story, waiting for them to see it and read. It was a tale she could not relay to them and was also one they had to understand at one point or another.

((Awww...See ya, Minasia!))

Kalco nodded and summoned the Magick from him. "Garjzla.." he murmured, and flodded the area with light from his hand. He looked at the walls, and deciphered it. It was amazing. THAT was what happened? Interesting.

((You can add it to it. Everyone has a right to the rp))

Kalios looked over at the wall, his eyes trailing the story of his former self, and what was going to happen. He had no need to decipher it. He had helped place these glyphs with the Will so long ago.((I'll just go ahead and write what Kalios sees))

The Magicks were hidden away, scattered throughout the population as they were. Each through a distinct root, all watched by Fate. Then the Shade struck.

The Shade grew in power, wreaking havoc from small villages to the Alalean capital, causing the Royal Family to go into turmoil. They were evacuated to Alagaesia, and a pseudo-king took their place. Meanwhile, the Wardens of Will, Fate, and Magic(k) confronted the Shade and bound him, locking him into a rock in a tunnel through an elven key.

The lock didn't hold. It couldn't. Without the full power of the Wardens, it remained a slapdash job that the Shade deteriorated, until he broke free. Then the Wardens would have to come in full forth, with the key, and the Magick bearers, to destroy him, once and for all.

Kalios looked up from the story. "This isn't what we wrote...was it?" he asked Alianae. There was no way he could tell the future from such a long time.

((25 hours. A day and an hour. I doubt she'd miss you. Besides, some people do leave for a day. I was away for three..))

Alianae watched them, one eye on each. She concentrated mainly on Kalios, knowing he had helped in the making of this. And suddenly, a great sadness swept over her.

"What you see here, is an ancient story. It is not, however, the full story. For that, you must search inside yourself. By knowing this tale, this legend, this thing of the past, you will come to understand. And you will be set on the Path." She raised a hand away from the wall, uncovering the next part of the glyphs. "You will not understand me now, but one day, it will all come back. And then, you will know the past, the present and the likely future. And that is the day when Alagaesia changes for evermore. And on that day, you will cease to exist but still be alive, ready to help when you are needed. For on that day, an evil is released, one who shall rule for a hundred and four years. And on the day this evil is destroyed, you will return, and the rightful rulers shall take their own."

((I felt like being prophetic and this is very flexible. For I believe that when Galbatorix becomes the king, the Will is returned and Minasia reinstated as Princess of Alalea, we shall have nothing to do. And so we can go on with this. We can work it out along the way. And I don't like violet. I'll use purple.))

Kalco knew what "evil' Alianae meant. Galbatorix. "I know it's not my place to ask, but...who are those 'rulers' that you spoke of?"
PostPosted: Sat Feb 25, 2006 11:18 am

"Minasia is the ruler," Kalios said, answering for Alianae. "Her family was sent away from Alalea when the Shade struck. They were as safe as can be. And she has to rule again," he finished.

Alianae looked away, knowing she could not speak an untruth in this tunnel, from the way it was constructed.

"That is true..but he askes about the Rulers of the high future. Minasia..is one of them, as the neverending Princess of Alalea. The others..are yet to be determined by fate. Certain events have to come to pass for different people to become rulers. Even the number of rulers, I cannot tell yet. If anyone can, this far away, it would be you, Kalco, Warden of the Future."

Kalios nodded slightly, his own mind barely registering what Alianae said, as it was immersed in the spell the glyphs were weaving into his own mind. He promptly blocked it out. He should know better. The Will wouldn't want anybody to be searching for it. The Walls...they changed with the times. And on the person reading. Kalco might be reading on the story of his own time, while Kalios was reading the past. Plus they were chock full with magic. Even humans with no magic ability could feel it. The sweetness in the air. The scent of change. It would lock you into it, pulling you until it wrapped the rock walls around you, making you part of stone. One of his mental probes felt something very different from the normal magic. A life source. Several of them. That meant...

"We have to move fast. Several people have already come. The secrets here are already settling back into the Will. I'm afraid the Tunnel won't last without the glyphs here," he finished, and looked ahead. The light was a trick, one he himself set up to lure hikers back where they began. "This way," he said, gesturing towards a tunnel that produced only light from gems. The same ones Sora and Minae passed.

Sora exited into the forest, and looked back at the tunnel, to Minae. "See, all safe." He spoke too soon. He turned around, and heard the sword swipe through the air, before feeling the actual pain of it stabbing through his stomach. Once, twice, then the cloaked attacker ran for it, leaving the bloodied sword, and a speechless Sora behind.

Kalco took no time to hesitate. He followed Kailos, making sure to check for anyone following, besides Alianae. He had his hand rested on Kalar'a, just incase. "Kailos, do you have any idea where exactly where we are going?"
