She bowed and smiled.

Akori sat in his room, he went to the bathroom to wash his face, and stood there leaning against the counter, looking at himself.

Vivian was about to start sewing when Roran came in, pulling her hands away again before she pushed herself to her feet, folding her hands as they shook. She felt one of the three step forward, her eyes following the womans movements as she hugged Roran from behind, her chin resting on his shoulder. Finally moving her eyes to Roran, she bit her lower lip, wiping away her tears. She walked over to her vanity and opened a drawer, pulling out a silk scarf that matched her midnight blue dress before turning back to him, the marks from the 'mysterious rope' hidden.
"It's about them, isn't it? You know, your mother is quite proud of you, and is sorry that she hasn't visited you recently. She heard your question in the tower since her spirit is connected to it. She's sorry to make you think that she abandoned you, but each time you went she was there, yet..." Raising her head, her white hair hid part of her face, disheveled like the rest of her. Her eyes glanced to the space a little to the side of Roran, hearing the rest of what his mother said. "She says you've somehow supressed the ability to see her, so much so that it is as if you've lost the ability to."
Closing her eyes she lowered her head, fighting to stop the tears from falling from her eyes. Twas a futile maneuver, for when she raised her gaze to him again the wet trails wound their way down her red cheeks. "Amaya isn't in any way affected by this curse. She won't commit suicide like them," She paused for a brief moment to take a calming breath, "I will."

Amy looked at the girl, "sadly, yes, but I dont behave like one" she said, smiling, "so tell me, how does Akori act to you?" she asks, stepping aside to allow her to enter.

"I haven`t seen him in a while, but when I was young, are you surprised I remember, he was really nice to me. We would practice archery outside when we could and stuff. He`s like the brother I never had, along with Roran, but he was busy sometimes..."
She smiled at her, taking a small step inside her room.

Amy looked at Kathryn, "oh, really huh?" she said with a weak smile, then turned around facing the window, "sure as hell changed" she whispered to herself.

Kathryn heard her say something, but not exactly sure.
"What was that?"
She tilted her head, to the side in curiousity.

Amy turned around, smiling, "oh just that it must've been really nice" she said, sitting down, "so, you come here often? have you met Amaya yet?" she asked, changing her expression to a questioned look.

"No, but since I`m here, my father told me I had to stay here really long...I don`t know why though..."
She frowned, and twirled around.
"No, I haven`t met her yet...is she your sister?"
She asked, smiling.

Amy smiled "yep, she's the soon to be queen and wife of Roran" she said, sighing, "lucky her, she's actually in love with the guy she's betrothed to" she added, then frowned, "oo, did I just say that aloud?" she said, smiling weakly.

Amy sighed, letting her fake smile end in the frown which it was really meant to be. "well now that it's out....look, from what you tell me of Akori, I can't relate to that, all I know about him is that he is rude, stubborn, selfish, mean, and very damn secretive.....so either he changed badly, or he holds a grudge against me for holding a Katana to his neck....." she said, sighing again, "and I've tried, but he is just....urrrgh...you know, like he has a wall around him, and it ain't breakin anytime soon.....but I mean I'm not exactly innocent" she added, sighign again.

Amy nodded, "yea, well maybe you know he's like a person who takes years to trust someone or something like that, argh, I dunno, and I don't really care, I just refuse to marry him....I can't, it would be hell" she said frowning a little

"If Uncle and the your father wants you to marry, isn`t it for the people? Well, maybe you should get to know him better, and put thoughts about the people in Syra and Keros who want the war to be put to a true end..."
