Buffy comes into the livingroom and automatically sees the blood on the floor.
"Who's hurt? Where's Dawn?"She looks at Lorne and Phoenix.
"What?"
The lack of sleep after her drunken debacle and the odd fight with that creature had left her a little out of it.

"Um...Atticus is bleeding. He wouldn't let me talk to him or anything...he hates me." Lorne mentioned, simply. "I figured you or Phoenix should talk to him. Maybe see to that wound..."

Buffy rolled her neck on her shoulders, looked at Phoenix and shrugged.
" 'K ", she answered, and began to head back the way she'd come.
At the top of the stairs she knocked 3 times in quick succession on the door to the room Atticus had claimed.

"Well...good. I'll just go be anti-social over yonder." Lorne mentioned as he headed where the bar was to get a few shots.

"Who is it?" Atticus asked without looking up at his door. He was busy wrapping the wound. Though it would heal sometime tomorrow, he needed to keep it from bleeding everywhere obviously.

Phoenix couldn't resist.
"It's Phoenix.. can we talk?"
She received a withering glare from Buffy, and she shrugged.
"He cannot resist my evil charms, man."

Atticus paused for a moment, wondering what the Hell this girl wanted. Whatever it was, she would probably nag his ear off all the same.
"About what?" he asked.

Buffy sighed and just opened the door.
"Sorry to just barge in but I need to- Holy crap. What happened to you?"
She stepped directly up to him, pulling at his hand to get a better look.
"Will you let me see?" she demanded.

Phoenix entered the bedroom behind Buffy and right away felt ill. He's all sorts of ******** up, she thought.

The creature stiffs the air and grins. He had taken his time, but he found the location of the girl who attacked him. A mansion stood across the street from him. His grinned almost looked as if he were ready to chew up the next person to cross his path. He simply waited to see sight of her.

Atticus got a little angry when they just barged in. He really didn't want anyone to see him like this...not just bloody and beat up, but with all of his scars.
"I'm...Fine!" Atticus growled as he pushed her hands away, continuing to wrap his wound.

"Don't be an a**," Phoenix stated, mainly to distract him into an argument so Buffy could check on him.
"It's because you're an a** that these things happen, you know. Nice people don't get their asses handed to them. And how big was the big bad demon who took a chunk outta your pretty self?"
She walked over to Atticus, within grabbing distance, but not worried, cuz really, the poor guy looked like death warmed over twice in a microwave from the 80's.

Kennedy flickers her eyes open. Dark. Her mind felt a vast level of exhaustion. She tilts her head over and sees Faith sleeping in a sitting position. Kennedy squints her eyes a bit. She slowly lifts from the bed, unsure as to how she got there. Seeing Faith sleep soundly, she lets her be.
Her body dances with tingles all over. Her last memory remains a blur as she gathers a wash cloth, a clean towel and some body wash. She slowly travels to the closest bathroom. The halls suddenly seem empty.
The cool gush of water is what her body craved as she turns the knobs. Kennedy places her body gently into the tub, letting her body soak, letting her body relax fromt he hell it has been through. But, does she remember exactly what type of hell it was?
When exactly did I get here, she thought as she soaped her body. A sting from her right hand forces her to glance over.
"I gotta get rid of this from my sight."

Atticus shot one of the worst glares at her. This girl had been on his back since the beginning, and he was sick of it. She HAD no excuse to hate him. She didn't believe he was a demon!
"You are just made because I 'stole your kill'!" Atticus mocked her voice in a whiny fashion to piss her off. "Call me an a** all you want. I don't give a s**t. I AM an a** a lot of the time. But only when people barge into my room without a reason!"
