So I royally screwed up my laptop the other day. We were playing WarioWare for the Wii and my friend tripped over the table that my computer was on and it fell off. Right on the USB receiver for my wireless mouse.
So the USB port was jammed into the computer, cracking the casing and messing up another port right next to it. Now it won't turn on. gonk I have to go get a new mouse, too.
So I took it to Best Buy yesterday and found out that if my parents only got the standard warantee then it would easily be $600 worth of repairs. Luckily we had the accidental damage warantee, so they took my laptop and I should get it back in about two weeks.

Sorry for your loss Miguel, we've never had to put a pet down. It must have been heartbreaking.
And your laptop fell down and went boom? That's craptastic.

Jaeger_Ayers Am I alone in hoping Turner gets a huge fine and those two dirtballs that got arrested get jailtime over their stupidity on Wednesday? Yes. Because those signs were all over the city for three weeks before someone went insane and the cops came in, and it took the cops an eternity to figure out that they in fact weren't bombs. And Boston wasn't even the only city that these things were placed in, just the only city that went nuts. Jailtime is way over the edge. I'll concede to some kind of fine, because Turner should have stepped in sooner and said something, and they should have had a label on the back of the signs saying "Cartoon Network" and some contact info. Otherwise, this is yet another example of this country going crazy because OMG THERE ARE T3RR0RISTX0rZ! Calm the ******** down people, next thing you know someone's going to claim to have a suitcase with the names of a bunch of people in Hollywood that are terrorists....

Was Turner even directly aware of it before the hooh-hah started? It's several rungs down the ladder from him.
Of course it also has to be put into the perspective of how close Boston is to New York City and the fact that at least one of the planes used on 9/11 flew out of Boston. They have reason to be cautious. They're also Boston, and this is how they react to being embarassed.
