Sora returns to the commonroom and sobs. 'This is what you get for not thinking first, Sora...' she thought to herself as she sat near the fireplace which continues to blaze. Her eyes grew wide as she began to see memories on the flames. She has always been afraid of fire and decides to hide her scared tear-stained face behind the pillows. 'Mama...' she sighs to herself and soon falls asleep.

lonnie came in through the corridor and sees sora,tears glistening on her face
she shook her gently until she looked up sleepily
"what's wrong?"
lonnie,worried,sits down next to sora
"y'know you can tell me.."
thinking,lonnie's eyes go wide as she says "it wasn't because of yesterday,was it? you just startled me,that's all..and i have one wish.for you to be my friend forever,yeah?"
lonnie wipes the tears gently off sora's cheeks
"am here when you're ready to talk.it can't be that bad,whatever it is"

"Hmm?" Sora looked up sleepily and saw Lonnie. She looked around some more and was confused. She felt Lonnie wipe tears off her face. "Was I crying? Did you make me cry? Eh? Oh, right... I remember... I did startle you last time and you cried and I felt like crying and next thing I knew... FIRE!!!" at the sound of the word she quickly hugged Lonnie tightly as if scared. "You know..." she said after a moment and calmed down, "I've got nobody but my sister who's a muggle... but I've got a friend now too, right?"

sora looks at lonnie,kinda upset,thinking that lonnie doesn't want to be her friend
lonnie notices this and just started giggling at sora
"only if it's a best friend"
lonnie hugs sora tightly back,then starts licking her own fingers and playing with the flames
"see? fire's okay really,if you're careful.i personally find it rather pretty"
lonnie stares at the flames in total awe

Princess sees lonnie playing with the fire and goes up to her and says "Hi Lonnie, how are you today?" She notices Sora in the room turns to her and says: "Hi there Sora, how are you liking your new House so far??" Princess plops herself on the couch by the fire, slowly feeling it's warmth. Her eye lids are getting heavier, and heavier. She slowly falls asleep on the couch.

"I'm liking this house very much, Ms. Ari," Sora says as she wipes the remainder of her tears. She looks at Lonnie and smiles, 'Hmm... Best friend...' Turning back to the fire, she didn't stare in awe but still in fear. 'Don't come near me... Stop haunting me...' these words kept on racing in her mind. Seeing Lonnie stare at the flames, she quickly reacted. "Don't take Lonnie along with you!" she said. Thinking she must seem pretty crazy, she just burried her face in one of the pillows.

Ari giggles, hearing Sora say her name. "Sora, I think you mean Princess," she says, pointing to Princess. "Though I'm glad you like this house!"

Mikki walks into the common room and sits down next to Princess, still snoozing on the couch. "I think I should let you all know right now that I've gotten a new account and will be using that soon... I'm not sure when though. So, if you see 'Giselle LeFlour' around the common room, that's me!" Mikki goes up to her dormitory and drops her book bag and comes back downstairs.

Storm comes down from the Dormitories and sees her fellow housemates gathered around the fireplace. "Hey there." she says shyly to the group after realizing that in all her studies she had never taken time to get to know her housemates, or even make many friends at the school.

lonnie smiles at princess as she sleeps,not even having chance to tell her how she was
"i'm fine.." she started,trailing off as princess' eyes closed
lonnie looks confused,wondering if sora already has a best friend,and sighs loudly
she slowly moves the pillow away from sora's face
"sora,it's okay.the fire won't hurt you as long as you're careful! if you don't touch the fire,it's not able to harm you,so you're fine.and my fingers are wet,see? that means i can touch the fire and it doesn't hurt me.cool,huh?"
seeing storm come down from the dormitories,she looks up at her and says "hey..storm,right? i'm lonnie.a new ravenclaw"
lonnie,blushing a little,pauses,and then asks "w-we can be friends..if you'd like.."
lonnie then returns to the fire,blowing into it making the flames dart about

"Oops, my bad, Ms. Princess..." Sora blushed. Turning back to Lonnie, "It's not that kind of fear actually... Fire killed all of us... my family tree..." She says as she stares at a mug of water. She walks towards it and points her wand on the water. The water lifts itself up to form a boat that soon breaks into two and returns to the mug. "Elements have its own way of killing..." Sora sighed and plopped herself back to the sofa.
