after andreas propelled himself from the castle the queen looked at katrea as more guards came upstairs, she watched the others that had come follow after him and she moved close to katrea.
"katrea please take me inside the castle, i want to stop this man but not at the expense of more lives. let me gather all the guards and my people together and treat the wounded. if that man wishes to leave let him. he can have what his stolen and when my army is strong again i will ask those who think they can to go after him and bring him to face the consequence for his actions."
the queen didn't like to just hide away and would prefer to confront the man but at this moment it was best to let her people regroup and try to assess the damages. she just hoped the ones she new who rushed into battle knew what they were doing, she just couldn't afford to let her injured men go into more conflict after the fight they had been in. the queen new nothing of the girl being taken.
"i promise you katrea that man will pay. he will pay for all the suffering he has caused and so will those who are with him, that i promise you"
the queen took one more look at the fires and dead below shedding a tear before moving inside

katrea watched the whole scene and lept out to aid them in there struggle against this mad man, this andreas. he felt his arm held back thou and pulled as he quickly looked around and saw the queen look up at him. he stared at her for a moment as she stared at him sympathetically and he looked to the knights badly injured and towns people standing behind her. he could see they needed his protection more than ever at this moment as much as he wanted to tear that man apart for what he claimed to have done. he looked back at the queen nodding.
"very well, i understand"
he could see it hurt the queen to hide like this but if they didn't use this time to recover it would be hard to count there loses. katrea swore he would get revenge on that man thou. following the queen inside he helped some of the wounded to follow lifting one knight up on his shoulder.
"dont worry avardia is safe now, you did the queen proud"
the knight smiled up proud of himself having one leg missing from the battle.

andreas smiled "really, well arnt we cocky. is the young maki that important to you"
perhaps Zetsuei didn't realize it but the girl was maki and andreas could tell by her sent and features. he didn't know how it happened only that it had and they could be made to suffer with it. he watched the x shape burn through the barrier shattering it like glass and he backed away.
"very good."
andreas brought his hands close then spread them apart sending a row of purple flames in front of him to block his path.
"try cutting through that"
the flames blew strongly and rose high but andreas felt the pain at his side that hadn't fully recovered. he would need to think of an escape plan for when he needed it.
"well Zetsuei arnt you even going to try"

"I promised Maki that I would protect her and that young child is Maki a younger version of her so my promise still remains Andreas"
Zetsuei's all black katana began to be covered in a white aura that flowed upward off the blade
"Of course Andreas why wouldnt I"
He said as the slightly bent his knees and rested the glowing katana over his shoulder and after a few secods of focusing his energy Zetsuei swung the holy filled energy blade at the purple flames that Andreas had conjured hoping it would blow the flames away or leave a opening in the flames for him to slip through

as the flames were partly blown away by Zetsuei's attack after hiding andreas and blocking his path andreas could be seen clearly knelt down near the floor smiling up at him.
"thank you Zetsuei, that gives me the opportunity to do this"
andreas pressed both palms to the ground sending a sheet of ice towards Zetsuei to encase his feet and freeze him on the spot. his smile grew as the ice quickly shot a cross the ground through the pathway he had made
"you know your much to reckless, you should think before you act"

"Maybe I do Andreas and I act for a certain reason"
Zetsuei said as he held his right hand out towards Andreas with his fingers spread apart and casted lightning at him. The bolts of lighting flew right past the ice shards and shot towards Andreas. The ice shards hit Zetsuei in different areas cutting his coat and into his skin, he mandged to deflect some with his sword but most of them hit. Blood slowly began to run from the wounds that they had inflicted.

andreas quickly stood to his feet holding out a hand and using his own lighting to absorb in that of Zetsuei's being a red mage he was much more used to controlling magic and its flow from direct attacks. he smiled seeing the blood from the impact of the shards across Zetsuei's body and licked his lips.
"you really think your lightning attacks will scare me."
andreas tilted his hat placing his arms down as he spoke.
"does the life of the young girl mean so little to you that this is the best you can do"
moving his wings about slowly at first then faster and more rapid he let them clap against the air and bringing them back as the spread he gave a mighty flap creating a large gust of wind. it blew straight at Zetsuei like gale force weather.
"come and get me if you can"

Ignoring Andreas words, Zetsuei flapped his wings together to create a gust of wind to counter act Andreas.
"Andreas, your quest for power will only end in your own demise"
He said as he broke free from the ice which encased his feet, slowly his eyes began to turn red as his spirit pressure raised. Holding his sword in his left hand he began to run at Andreas.

the wind from Zetsuei's attack blew him back as well and he placed a arm in front of his face. Andreas smiled and increased the gust his wings made with his own magic the sheer force would cause Zetsuei to slow and make it a struggle for him to get close.
"he he what is it men men strive for if not power and to be recognized. what would you rather i do live out a meaningless life where your existence is meaningless. just like your father"
andreas smiled as his clothes blew in the wind
"oh dont worry Zetsuei ill take good care of little maki, then maybe ill take care of the older one later"
andreas opened his mouth from the shadows under his hood and let out stream of acid from his gapping jaws to follow the wind straight for Zetsuei.

Within the mayhem of the fight Fira watched as the girl was caught then taken away. Andreas had forgotten her in the fight, she flew high into the air before swinging back around and down towards the man her whole body engulfed in flames. “Did you ever think that I might had this strength before, but never felt I needed to use it until now?!” The phoenix warned with more telepathy than a voice while glided down from side and heading to swipe her shearing wing accost his chest.

Feeling his movement slowing down due to Andreas creating a strong gust of wind and spitting the cloud of acid at him he felt it was time to reveal one of his new techniques.
"you never even knew my father "
He said as his spiritual pressure intensified and as he ran towards Andreas and swung his sword with such force that it momentarly altered the flow of wind in front of him causing the acid to flow to his left avoiding it and after images of Zetsuei appeared from his body and move in all different directions towards Andreas confusing him as he approached.

andreas watched Zetsuei waiting for his acid to hit when the man suddenly darted from side to side in the blink of an eye. it took him a back, his eyes couldn't follow him but he smiled.
"interesting, but know matter how fast you go i can create a barrier to stop you in your tracks"
andreas lifted both hands up ready to bring an ice shield around him when suddenly he heard fira shout out and turned swiftly.
"dam, that little vixen to"
He stopped his ice shield in order to launch an attack at her turning the ice he created into circular blades of razer sharp ice, millions of them. which he threw at her from all angles using his own wind magic to propel them. the trouble was now he had left himself open to an attack by Zetsuei.

As the after images faded away Zetsuei was no where to be seen. Thanks to Fira, Andreas had left hismelf open to an attack. Appearing behind Andreas he had his blade which he had imbuned with holy energy over his shoulder and swung it down at and angle with great force at Andreas back.

andreas felt great pain as he felt the blade brush against his back as he arched forward. the cut sizzled and bubbled and he gave out a tremendous roar of pain. the wound bled black blood as steam rose from it and he turned angrily to Zetsuei, his finger nails growing sharp and long as he swung them around to slash at Zetsuei's face.
"you insect, il rip you to shreds"
andreas turned and his eyes seemed to have dark energy seeping from them as he looked up from under his hood and the very air beneath him became a purple cloud as streaks of lightning ran across his body.
"your really all starting to piss me of"
