Yeah... sweatdrop Well, this month is certainly meant to teach me a lesson: Never do tasks in blocks, one at a time, but all at once and more slowly. All this catchup and keep-up stuff is keeping me well occupied. xp

*the infamous evil laughter* You just got suckered, ED. Feudal is a real game, and a personal favorite.
Having said that, I should warn people that it might be wise to pay attention to the rules... because following my discharge, everyone I encounter from this guild will be made to play it. Some of them more than once. Muahahaha! twisted

Oh, you will. You will... Muahahaha!
After all, if you don't want to rp play it, you're going to have to hope those cookies are done real soon.

I see you went the cookie route. Tea parties, huh? xd Is that why you always leave the huge war-battles for the boys to figure out? rofl

ArynChris I see you went the cookie route. Tea parties, huh? xd Is that why you always leave the huge war-battles for the boys to figure out? rofl Yeah pretty much. I can do plot outlines, I can do one on one fight scenes, I can do scenes with a multitude of individual characters, but don't ask me to write a paragraph where fifteen dudes fight these other fifteen dudes over something lame. Well, I suppose you could ask me, and I suppose I could do it....but I wouldn't enjoy it.

smile In fairness, it gets pretty confusing even when they're doing it. That one's a bit of a gift... most people write it pieces at a time, showing a few seconds to a minute or two of one part of the scene, then another, and occasionally something that happens in the big picture that effects all the little scenes after it. Hard to pull that off with rp, though.

Yeah, it's doable, and it can be done to be very pretty even. But it's not something that comes naturally to me, not yet anyway. The other stuff I can shoot out fast enough without a problem, but I'd have to actually take time to think (a horrible abomination, I know) if I wanted to work out a nicely played war paragraph. It's all in knowing what to summarize what to detail, and where to draw the tension. It also helps to define character to some extent to enhance the emotional connection with the readers.
Still, takes up too much time, and as everyone is well aware, ED is a lazy bum.
