Lt. Brookman Andreis Unless you make your own, the only way to get a Dire avengers exarch is through the "Classic models" area of the GW site. At least to my knowledge. I plan to get one though. Then the fact that I will have 9 dire avengers.. will BUG ME! Because I hate uneven squad numbers. -EDIT- It is plus 14 points for an exarch in the Dire avengers. There will be plastic Dire Avengers soon enough, with an Exarch or whatever the hell the pansies call their squadleaders. Only the heads and arms are pewter on the current Dire Avengers. Yes... pansies. rolleyes

haha, they may be small and fragile, but they are extremely quick and witty... they traveled between the planets before humans were even developed from their earliest ancestors...which means they have the wisdom and intelligence to crush the younger races

Or Striking Scorpions? Or a Falcon? Small and fragile doesn't exactly describe Eldar very well.

Small and fragile doesn't exactly describe Eldar very well. when i mean small and fragile, i mean the little elves that they are, how would i describe a falcon and other vehicles as small and fragile? as for striking scorpions i have no idea, but look at the rest of them...banshees are twigs, so are gaurdians, reapers are skinny as well as wraithlords...

Scorpions are equal to or better than Space Marine standard troops. Howling Banshee's come with Power Weapons as a standard.
I think you're still a bit biased by Dawn of War, I believe I remember you saying that that's what you play, mostly?

Shuriken Catapults, in game terms, are as powerful as bolters. In fluff terms, they shoot hundreds of sharp discs that rip through flesh and armor alike, the discs themselves only a molecule thick.
Very useful.
I've heard rumors that they will be Rending in the future.

The shurikens are about 3-4 inches around, just a single molecule thick. They actually do have good armor piercing (AP).
Rending effectively means that any sixes you roll while shooting are autokills, with a few exceptions.

When you get into the artistry of war, none are better than Eldar. War is an art that the Eldar have had perfected for millennia.

hmm yeah its a shame that they are weak in dawn of war, they should be able to karate chop space marines into oblivion, but no, the stupid SM have to pull out their stupid butterknives and cut thru eldar like they were pansies. Say hello to entangle and plasma grenades bitches, cause your getting raped xd i dont use many of their vehicles, if i do its auxilary wraithlords, i think i should change that...
Oh, and if there is a scenario editor in dark crusade, i am so doing this: 1 squad of high council dudes + farseer with their awesome kick a** withblade dealers of doom vs. tons of wussy heretics with puny lil laspistols and butterknives! payback is a b***h, and its a dish best served cold, just as cold as the witchblade going thru Khorne's heart

Oh and about the "unlikelyhood" of a mono-molecular shard peircing armor. If coliding with the target at a perpendicular angle, it is very possible that it would mearly slide right between molecular bonds, thus creating a weak point and continuing on to slice through flesh, now think of that... but 200 of those placed in a concentration and over the course of a mere second or two.
A friend of mine only plays dawn of war and so he has no clue as to the true power of the eldar.
He is supremely biased against eldar. He likes SM.
