Shizuka thought for a little but. She only went fishing a few times before when she was really young. But those trips were pretty short, seeing as she'd purposely do it wrong to protect the fish.
"She says that she'd rather leave the fish alone, but if there's anything else she could do wwithout harming animals for sort, she'd probabaly be interested." Amaya spoke for Shizuka.

"That's sweet," Anna scoffs. "Listen, here in Izumo, fishing is a way of life. Plus, I want to have them for dinner tomorrow. Look. Do you want me to leave it up to Faust?"

Shizuka was just trying to use excuses to get out of it. The truth was that fishing was a bitter reminder of her father. After his betrayal, trying to remember him just made her miserable.

Manta shows up. "Sorry to bother you... but Faust doesn't know how to fish, so it would actually probably be pretty funny. If you left it up to me, I'd just want to get ice cream. But DON'T let Faust decide. He's been talking nonstop about a doctor's conference tomorrow, with some name like, 'National Annual Conference For the Rights of Comatose Patients and Bettering the Future of Medicine for the Benefit of Manking and the Greater Good: When Progress Overrides Ethics and the Ends Totally Justify the Means.' " Manta, completely winded, takes a deep breath.
Anna scowls. "I... WANT.... FISH... FILLETS... TOMORROW....FOR.....DINNER."

Manta lunges. "Don't wake up Faust!" he warns, tugging at the vaccuum before Tamao can maneuver it near his door. "I just confiscated the dangerous stuff, and he only sleeps for five hours!"

"Then Shizuka can buy some fish, right?" Amaya asked. Shizuka nodded in agreement. Anything to get her out of that memory. Not after she just got here.

Anna takes a deep breath. "Maybe it's a bad idea to let Faust take two people out in a boat," she muses. "But I want fish."
"We can buy fish," says Manta, noticing Shizuka's obvious reluctance.
"That's the thing," snaps Anna. "If you catch them, they're free."
"Screw it, then!" Manta says, exasperated. "You never actually care what Faust wants to do; why not let him go to the conference?"
"Because burying himself in work isn't something he needs right now," replies Anna shortly. "What would you suggest, Shizuka?"

Shizuka had no idea. She just didn't want to fish. Nobody, not even Anna, could force her to go out with nothing but a piece of wood with a plastic wire attached and her father's haunting memory.
"Shizuka doesn't really know what to do." Amaya was being brutally honest on her shaman's behalf.

"Hey," says Faust, leaning heavily against the door frame. A dark bruise that hadn't been there when they'd left was on his cheek.
"Faust, what are you doing up?!" Manta asks. "And what hit you?"
"Chain," Faust answers briskly. "I must have tripped in the dark... I overheard your conversation. I don't mind taking Manta and Shizuka somewhere tomorrow, but fishing really isn't my thing. What if we took a few days and went camping?"

Camping... Shizuka had done that before with both her parents. It really wasn't thta big of a deal to her. She wouldn't mind.
"But Anna-san was just using fishing to get some free food for tomorrow night." Amaya explained.

"Whatever," shrugs Anna. "I'll just make Yoh do it. As long as you're all out of the way... it'll be a lot less to clean up."
"Great," sighs Faust; he looks even more tired than he did before he went to sleep. "Is it OK if we take the gear that the Asakura's keep, Anna?"
"Go ahead. But make sure you don't take our car."
"I've got my own," Faust answers. "I'll get the tent and everything packed. Ah!" he winces, his fingers flying to his cheek. Looking disturbed, he says, "I think I'll get some ice on this."

"Actually, I was thinking of cleaning the other rooms first. I know that Faust needs his sleep but Lady Anna ordered me to sweep the rooms. It's my job(Punishment)." said Tamao as she pulled the vaccuum away from Fausts' room

"Don't worry about it," says Faust, pressing an ice pack against his cheekbone. "I'm a VERY light sleeper... I'd let you go in there now, but I'm afraid that I might have dropped some surgical instrument tips on the floor. They could wreck the vaccuum. Do we have any milk, other than Ren's radioactive stuff?" he asks, opening the refrigerator. " 'Glowing Udders....' What is this world coming to?"

Shizuka sat in the center of her room, finishing a sketch she was working on. Just a few more touches...
"Shouldn't you be getting ready for camping,Shizuka?" Amaya appeared beside her.
Crud! Why do I procrastinate at this stuff?! She scrambled to her feet and quickly shoved some things into her bag. Amaya could only sgh and shake her head.
