XxfushigipinayxX I can't wait to read Byakko's story x3
While Takiko's my favorite priestess, the Byakko warrrios are my favorite seishii. It probably won't happen, but it would really suck if Sensei decided not to do Suzuno's story. Yeah, so far out of the three priestesses we've seen in-depth, Takiko is definitely my favorite. I still love the Suzaku warriors best though, there's more of them I just absolutely adore: Tasuki, Hotohori, Nuriko, Chichiri... As opposed to Genbu's one (Tomite.) Strange, because I actually like Genbu Kaiden alot more than the original FY. Less unnecessary melodrama. rolleyes

I like FY and all, but if she keeps making up stories for it I know I'm gonna get sick of it. Stick with the original idea for it and it's all good :3

I saw volume one in the book store. I picked up and now I'm hooked. I can't wait until I can get the other ones. I know up to volume four was out becuase I saw them, my question is: does anyone know how long the series is going to be? I believe I read somewhere that she was still making it. I was jsut wonder if she was planning this to be long (like what FY is) or short (only a few more comming out.) Keep in mind, I've only read the first one, so I have no idea how far the others take the story. Also if this has been asked before, sorry for repeating. I have to get off soon and I don't have time to look through all 47 pages of this thread. I have read a few though and it wasn't mentioned on those. Thanks. ^_^

I think for Fushigi Yuugi she should stick to the orignal four priestesses.
I think once Watase finishes out the Genbu and Byakko stories she should leave it be. If you keep adding on and adding on eventually people dont respect your works as much. But if you end it all when your on top, people seem to respect your work more.
I can't wait for the new chapters to come out...

Everyday since like...March...I have checked to see if the new chapters are out...
Also, I think that FY:GK will be much shorter than FY:SS. Mostly because Takiko does not have the option of ruining her scroll and going out to find Shinzahos(sp [I'm too lazy to go look up the spelling]). I think the story will span to 8 or 9 books. Maybe a little bit more if Watase gets creative with Takiko's return to her world after summoning Genbu.

I really like this series, but I'm not sure if she should make the manga of the the third priestess. Takiko is definetly my favorite lead female character by Watase.

first opf all you can buy it in English in a book store like borders just go to graphic novel section and two I can't wait for volume five to come out I want to know what happens between Limdo and Takiko it comes out in Novembeer and I'm so excited but then again I'm also a fan of another mangaka but that is another story
