Sit down...you might not get anything done sitting down, but you won't get anything done when you collapse from exhaustion either...you have to think out each situation and its consequences, and right now, a rest might do all of us some good...

Shabang sat down, slightly depressed, but he knew Shunketsu was right. Shabang rested on the ground, without setting off any traps and began to think, I wish all jutsus were this easy

[[ I was trying to stay off the radar, my cable provider needed a talking to, and Kotai's just been sitting at his house... collecting things, thinking. ]]

The young Aburame heir sighed softly as he hefted the knapsack over his shoulder, taking a large satchel along with him, this time. "I'm heading back out, now!" He shouted these words to the house that appeared so empty... Destruction Bugs not of his own body were resting on the wall, hard-shelled wings buzzing softly to give their assent. Yes, the manor was still quite populated.

With the expulsion of Chakra used in making traps, and Kotai's innate forest-environ expertise, he picked up the markings of the traps within a short amount of time. The Aburame examined the traps thoroughly to make sure they had the Leaf signature knot in them, reading the Chakra as best as he could to determine the owner(s). "They should have gone... this way..." He leapt from tree branch to tree bunch, disturbing a bird here or there; but mostly swift and silent. His arm was apparently fully healed by now, as he used it to swing on the low branches as he steadily made his way towards Hinata's small group at a fluidic and frightening pace.

::Hinata smiled as she pushed herself up from the tree:: No worries. Chakra traps can be dispelled...

::she turned the the forest behind them, her hands slowly making seals so that Shabang could watch. After several long moments she shot her hands out infront of her, sending lines of chakra bouncing through the trees. She moved her arms and fingers, directing them this way and that, lacing the trees with it and then, when she was satisfied, she pulled back, hard, tightening the strings into nearly invisible razor sharp points::

Kotai soon ran into one of these traps... and without expecting them, would have been placed into great danger. The trap was sprung as he landed on a wire bowing to the branch he'd just set down upon to get his bearings. Whistling blades of death, shuriken and kunai, hurled at him from every direction...

That's when it happened. His scarves snaked up and stretched themselves width-wise, and then began rotating around Kotai's body at blinding speed, flashes of white here and there. "Nani...?" Was the last thing the Aburame said as he was struck a glancing blow by a shuriken, cutting a long trail up the side of his face and out through his hair. Oddly enough, he'd not been cut or punctured by any of the other weapons, which mystified him.

Some had obviously missed, three others halted by his Shozoku, but nearly a fourth had been stopped by his scarves, which he now realized were pulsing faintly with his own Chakra. Kotai gathered the the weapons and set them up with the interests of Leaf's nin in mind... they would know where to look, however the intruders would be easily caught.

The Aburame continued on his journey, giving mental pause to think of the reasons for this. The only thing he could think of was that the years of infusing the cloth, polymer, and thin steel mail material to use as an extra set of arms had left it with its own very weak set of imitation Chakra coils. Almost on a whim, Kotai thought about moving the leftmost scarf up to coil around his left forearm... by the time he had finished his thought, he felt a tightening pressure over his light armor. "Interesting..." Apparently they acted as an extension of his own brain, as such that their reaction time was at the very speed he could come to a realization. He attempted to flatten the scarves out, wondering if he could make them into weapons... but with no luck.

=I suppose that they're not strong enough for anything complicated, yet. I'll give it more time, and see what becomes of it.= He thought, not giving the matter any more of his concentration. What was, would be, and was not for him to decide.

Eventually, he caught up with Hinata, coming to rest on the underside of the branch above her and the others. "I've returned... with sandwhiches." With this, he tossed out leaf-wrapped venison sandwhiches with lettuce to the three nin. He'd skipped the usual greeting, but he was rather confident Hinata would notice his coming.

::Hinata laughed softly as she accepted the sandwich:: Glad to see you're ok, Kotai

::she sat back down against a tree, taking the time for lunch. She looked up at the sky, watching clouds shift lazily and sighed, wondering how long such a peace would last::

Kotai grinned. "Yeah, didn't know you guys were setting traps yet, otherwise I would have skirted around it." He walked from the underside of the branch onto the actual tree trunk, and then onto the upright branch Hinata'd been standing on. "Eh? Glad to see another one of your kin got out, Hinata-chan..."

Kotai turned to Shabang and extended a gauntleted hand. "Aburame Kotai, heir-to-be of the Aburame Clan and a proud half-Akimichi." Contrary to the stereotype, not everyone with Akimichi blood was fat, as Kotai's body exhibited, but the extra calories helped them to perform their Bloodline Limit. "I just paid a visit home, to the Forest Hall. Apparently some fighting went on there, as no one greeted me when I arrived. But some of my clansmen seem to have survived somewhere in the manor... I feel almost sorry for the invaders, get more than one of us together..." He grinned at that, a saddened and weary thing, but a grin nonetheless.

::Hinata smiled and skittered over to embrace Kotai in a large hug, very happy to see him. About the only one who had gone through more with her was Komm Kage, a frightening man that she had come to admire and consider a friend. She fluffled Kotai's hair, chuckling::

He sought me out, though I never expected myself to be assisting a Main house member from Sound.

::she kept one arm around Kotai's shoulders, examining the wound on his face as well:: I trust him though, and hes been a good help in setting these traps, as has shunketsu. Its good to have fresh people around. ::she reached in her pack and pulled out a bandage to cover the wound:: Hold still...::she put the bandage up to his face and secured it::
