Hirako sighed. "Ame, let me tell you a story." He took a deep breath and began to tell his story.
"When I was genin I had a very good friend. She was on a different squad than me but we always trained together. Then the day for the Chuunin exams came. We were both excited to have the chance to become chuunin and we wished each other luck. As we traveled through the forest I heard her scream. I made my team dash to where I heard it. Once we arrived to the location, there was nobody there but a team from Otogakure. They said that they already disposed of my friends team. I was overcome by fear, fear that my friend was dead. We battled the other team but my heart wasn't in it. I was too worried for her safety. We won but my team was wounded. Then as the other team leader lay on the ground I walked over to him to question him on the whereabouts of my friends. Then I heard my friend scream again from behind me. I whipped around to find the source."
Hirako pulled down the collar of his vest to reveal a long scar that wrapped halfway around the left side of his neck.
"The entire thing was a trap. While I was turned around the ninja threw two kunai. One of them cut my neck which is where I got this scar. The other one..." He paused. "The other one hit my teammate in the stomach. He nearly died. I..." Then Hirako stopped talking and looked at the floor. After a moment he looked back up at Ame.
"Ame. It's important to worry about your friends. A shinobi is supposed to be heartless but I believe that everyone gets strength from the need to protect their friends. But." He paused again. "You can not forget your comrades, the people who are relying on you to protect them. If you neglect your team, then they could die. Don't forget that."
He gave her a moment for it to sink in. "Ame, you can't skip shinobi training. I know it's tough for you but you need to be strong for your teammate's sake." He smiled. "I know you're strong enough."

Ame's fists were shaking. She knew what he said was the truth, but she still didn't want to go... "But this isn't my team... I'm sick of becomming attached to someone or something and then having it taken away from me... I'll work with the group, but I will not be a part of it... "

Hirako's face looked solemn. "Okay." he said quietly. I think this is as far as I can get for now. She'll grow to like the others on her team but for now I think it's best to leave the subject alone.
"Okay Ame. I'm going to head back to Houka, I kinda left him on the plateau. When you feel ready, come up to the Shi Plateau."
He started to put his hands together for the Body flicker jutsu. Before leaving, he said to Ame. "Ame, we're not taking anything away from you. Your friends will always be with you. Nobody can take that away from you. After training today, I'll personally head down to talk to Miss Kage and find out what happened to the others from your last team.
It's a promise."
And with that, he disappeared.

Ame stayed silent until he left. Turning around, she re-entered the cafe. She didn't even notice that Kei was sitting with Kisoku again... when did he get there... and where did the other guy go? Oh well... She returned to her table and sat back down. "You order your ramen yet?"

Kisoku groaned. "I-- You--" He sat again, his head flopping back. This time, he made sure to cushion the tiny critter. Apparently he would be stuck with her for a while. He watched the brother reappear, then blinked at the glare. "Are you sure you don't want her?" he asked dryly, knowing the answer already.

Zanza looked at ame and got up. She might need to be alone for a while he thought. " Well it was really a plesure meeting you ame. If you ever need me, look me up alright? " he said and turned to walk out the door. Was it really such a good idea to leave her in such a bad mood? Zanza saw a flower arangement next to the door. He had his idea. He picked one of the smallest from the batch, cliped its stem free of thorns. Then walked over to ame and placed it in her hair. He then used shunshin no jutsu to escape before she noticed.

Ame had sat down for a while to think some more.... she was trying to reverse her mood, lock away the emotion, keep her previous trainings in mind. What broke her out of her trance was the feel of something brushing in her hair. She turned but there was no one beside her. Reching up she gently pulled the flower out of her hair. Touching it gently a small, but soft smile found it's way onto her face. She placed it back with the greatest of care.

Ando looked back at Ame when she reentered the cafe and nodded his head at her slightly as he responded to her question.
"No. Im not hungry."
He turned back around towards the table as she sat down and closed hsi eyes slightly as if he was lost in thought. He rembered how alone he was after his parents died and how noone wanted to be near him at all. His head then dropped but quickly picked up as a creepy smile appeard on his face and he chuckled a little.

Ame turned her head slightly and raised one eyebrow. "What are you laughing at? Or is it a who?" Her voice was still soft, slightly irritable from before, and held a hint of curiousity...

Ando leaned his head back having his hair cover his eyes and chuckled again before realizing what Ame asked him. He then stopped and spoke softly in a monotone voice that was still somehow pleasent.
"This is the most human interaction I had in years and for once...I found someone who feels worse than I do. haha..."
He carried off into a soft laughter again.

Ame rolled her eyes. 'Well I hope you enjoy it.... nothing better than a good laugh, right?" She reached over slightly and pulled her cold ramen back towards her. Picking up her chopsticks she started eating again and tuned out his laughter... it was annoying...

Ando's laughter soon dulled to a slight chuckle and then stopped all together as he leaned his head back forward and looked into the distance while he talked to Ame.
"You know the village fairly well?

Kisoku narrowed his eyes. "You must be a fool if you think I'd give up Kei," he stated viciously. Just to prove his point, he took her hand in his and held on as tightly as he could without hurting her.
