Portabello lost his footing and went for a bit of a ride due to the Corsola's Surf attack. He managed to catch himself and avoid totally falling over, readying himself for his counterattack.
"Thanks for the bath, now it's my turn!" Mike turned to his Pokemon, giving his next command. "Now Portabello, use your Sky Uppercut on that Corsola!"
Portabello shot off, raking the ground with his claws. Upon reaching the target he crouched down and rocketed skyward, smashing the Corsola with his fist.
The boy started to get angry at Mike's agressive tactics. "How dare you hurt my love's Pokemon! Flamethrower, target that Breloom!"
"Flamethrower?!" Portabello cried out before being struck with the firey attack, the flames scalding his grassy skin. He tried to stand but his injuries finally caught up with him. "Sorry Mike." He said, collapsing on the ground.
"Return Portabello!" Mike recalled his Pokemon and thought on who to send out next.

"Corasola!" the girl screamed as the Pokemon collapsed in a heap. "Gr! Return! I choose you Vaporeon!" she shouted sending another water Pokemon out. "Surf!" she shouted angrily. "Kill that thing!"
"THING?!" Mitsu practicly screamed. Unfortunaly Sapphire was struck again and fainted on the spot. "Return! I choose you Ivy!" The Ivy saur popped onto the field ready to take down the opposing couple. "Toxic Tauros!" Mitsu directed.
Ivy sent out some spores that appeared stronger than Poison Powder. It landed on the Tauros and he shook, the affect gradually eating away at his stamina.

"Perfect." Seeing the Vaporeon released, Mike knew just who to send out. He motioned to Proton, who was beside him throughout the battle to go fight.
The Magneton gave a cheery robotic shrill as it hovered beside the Ivysaur in a defensive position. "I got you Ivy." Mike said ordering a Thunderbolt attack on the Vaporeon, Proton happily complying.
He decided to mix up the move a bit, fireing the electricity straight at the ground. The energy blasted a hole in the ground, the Thunderbolt traveling towards the Vaporeon, sending dirt and gravel everywhere.
Tauros couldn't take it anymore, the poison setting into his cuts. The boy recalled his Pokemon, grabbing another from his belt. He let it fly, sending out a large blue beetle. Its horn decorated with spikes and scars: A Heracross.

"Bug type, dang." Mitsu muttered. Lucky I don't have Nightmare with me. "Try a Toxic on it!" Mitsu shouted. Once again he shook spreading poison spores onto the bug Pokemon.
The Vaporeon took the blow, but still had enough energy to continue. "Ice Beam that Ivysaur!" she shouted. Ivy took the hit, shivering from the ice a bit.

"Let me take that next one." Magneton advised in his normal machine-like tone, floating to the side.
Mike was at an impass. Should he take out the Vaporeon, but allow the Heracross to get Proton? Or should he go the usual route and save his friend?
No. She's no kid. She can handle herself. "Ok Proton, Supersonic the Heracross, screw him up!"
Reacting fast, the boy gave his orders. "Quick, use Dig before it can hit you!" The bug Pokemon dove underground just in time, the confusing wave crashing above him and dissapating.

"We got the Vaporeon!" Mitsu said. Remebering the battle she had with Dante she instructed Ivy to use Vine Whip.
"Ice Beam!" the girl counted. Mitsu smirked. Just as the lighting fast vines hit the Pokemon it was frozen. The two were stuck together now. Ivy winced a bit, but he knew it'd pay off. "Giga Drain!"

"Vulpix..." Helios said, looking up at the Crobat.
"Looks like they still want to be friends," Keegan smiled, walking out to meet them. He patted Fang on the head. "You're a tough guy, aren't you?" he asked, admiring the Crobat's shiny green skin. "But aren't these guys supposed to be purple?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
It seemed no one had noticed the strange metallic Pokemon floating above them yet, thanks to its silent flight.

"What?" Jaeshan asked, looking a bit suprised. He watched the sparkly Beldum float around, looking for something, and he sighed. What does that mean? Does she want me to leave? Bagon made another attempt at soaring through the sky, but once again landed on its head. "You silly thing," Jaeshan sighed, shaking his head. "Perhaps you'll grow up to be a flier ," he said reassuringly, patting the little dragon on the head.
"Baaa.." it replied, its voice fairly soft.
"Wait...you're a girl, aren't you?" Jaeshan asked.
"Bag." Bagon nodded, doing a bit of a dance and yawning again.
"Well then, that makes things interesting," he said, taking out a Pokeball and recalling her inside. He then turned to Ryka, not making eye contact. "I need to make a trip to the Mens' Room," he said with a nod, and hurried off in a random direction.

"Oh drat. I still have no idea where I am." Hikaru said as she slashed her way through the underbrush. "I wish I really had a sword or something to cut away the grass with. I guess Rativral or Selece could do it but I'll keep them safe in their pokeballs for now."

Mag was tired of trying to ignore/scare away whatever was making the sound so he decided to go check out what all the fuss was about.
After pushing through some of the underbrush for a while he came into a clearing. "Ouch. Stupid thorn bushes..." Mag said as he looked around. On one side was a Rattata. It appeared to be fighting something but Mag couldn't make out what it was exactly.

"I know," Kasiya said, also heading out to the center of the field. "He was green from the first time I met him," she admitted. "Although, he found me," she giggled, "and for that, I'm very glad." She leaned down to pick up Helios. "You're amazing," she giggled, cuddling the adorablie Vulpix in her arms. "You're so warm and full of life."

The Rattata looked very weak and tired. "Well whatever it is up against must be pretty strong or the Rattata just sucks." Mag said as he watched it growl at one of the bushes. Suddenly a small brown and white pokemon jumped out of the bush and slammed into the Rattata. It growled fiercly and the small rat fled squeaking.
"Holy crap!" Mag said to himself. "Well now, this is a great find. You are mine Eevee!" Mag said as he reached for Tsunami's pokeball.

Helios lapped up the attention, licking Kasiya's face happily, his six tails wagging in his excitement. "I think he likes you," Keegan nodded, glancing around. "That was fun," he added. "The battle, I mean. Your Pokemon are incredibly tough...I can't believe we managed to defeat Seto." He stood up, stretching his arms overhead, not even knowing there was a Beldum hovering just inches from his outstretched fingers.

((Crap. If they don't evolve before level 16 it will take forever for them to learn any of their types good moves. Oh well. Maybe they can get TM ones.))
Suddenly Sunfire burst from his pokeball in a shimmer of gold and orange. He quickly moved into the clearing as the other slightly battered Eevee prepared for battle. "Okay then. I guess Sunfire will do the fighting." Mag said shaking his head at the sudden appearance. "Well this is probably a better idea anyway.
 Wild Pokemon Eevee would like to battle Level: 14 Attacks: Tackle, Tail Whip, Helping Hand, Sand Attack
"Okay now. We want to capture it not KO it Sunfire so let's go in with a Sand Attack and then a Tackle!" Mag commanded.
Sunfire quickly moved at the wild Eevee. It growled a little and then used it's own sand attack against Sunfires. The two waves of sand both crashed into eachother causing neither pokemon to get lower accuracy. Sunfire quickly rushed past the small pile of sand and went in for a Tackle but the opponent was a bit too fast and slipped away to the other side of the arena.

((You could always put them at a lower level, like 8-10 and just level them up later on.))
"You're such a sweetie, Helios!" Kasiya giggled, pretending to fend off the Vulpix's tiny pink tongue. "Yeah, but you're forgetting that I kept Seto from attacking," she replied, laughing. "Otherwise things would have turned out completely different," she added. "Hey, Keegan...?" she asked, her eyes growing wide. "Wh...what's that floating above your head?!" she asked, alarm rising in her voice as she pointed at the Beldum.
