Adaeze walked around with a smitten smile plastered all over her muzzle as she sauntered around the pride, her tail dancing out behind her, but a nagging thought tugged on her mind as she knew she had to tell her Mother and Uncle Cayimmi something...Dad was missing.
But the air of love lingered around her as she watched the cubs of the pride play with one another with a soft smile she stepped over them. Her brothers recent trivals had been wearing on everyone, but at the moment nothing could burst her bubble...
Melantha had for once, listened to her father and curled up for the night, only to have awoken the next morning with a new form, brows arches she gazed down at her suddenly teen form.. "Ha! Now thats what Im talkin about.." She sprang up to her paws and checked herself out in the pool of water that dwelled not to far from the opening of the den. "Oh yea..I can work this alright.."
Dakota watched his cousin with an arched brow, "Well well Mel, lookit you." He mused, his voice sounded several tones deeper, he rose to his paws as he padded towards her, he looked at her reflection in the water, only to have found himself in the same boat. "Well, seems the growing spirit was a bit busy last night eh?" he smirked faintly and shoved Mel into the water. He looked around, and wondered where his mother was.."Mother!!" he roared out, as if something were the matter.
Sophia scrunched down and continued to hide, everyone else was growing, but it seemed as if she'd been forgotten. She'd seen her sister run past her with wings, and her brother fully grown...She gazed down at her small paws, a small tear ran down her cheek as she looked up at the sky. "Papa what'd I do wrong?" she whispered softly as she whined. Where was her papa..he'd fix it. She slunk around, out of sight.
Niobe padded towards the boarder behind her nephew, she raced up and swatted at his rump. "Hey Tabi, wheres your pops to be doin this.." She asked with an arched brow. Her brother was usually the first to greet others unless him and Kila were..She shook her head, ew ew ew...nasty thought, she snorted and made a face as if she'd just eaten a bug.

Pink orbs glanced upwards as he heard the call of his brother and the splashing of water in the pool nearby. Bakari had fallen asleep outside the den, and awoke with with seemed to be a larger form. He was now lounging near the opening of the den, looking himself over. As Dakota called for their mother he chuckled lightly and stood, walking towards him. His eyes ran over his cousin who had been shoved into the pool and chuckled again.
"Don't be rude now, Kota~" Bakari chucked, his voice smooth, almost mocking. Blinking at Mel, he lokked back to Dakota. "Oi, you have any clue where Mom wen-"
"I'm right here, boys..." Ayana smiled lightly and walked towards her sons from the side opposite the den. They were grown now... She ran her gaze over Dakota, then Bakari. Bakari looked more like his father than anything, while Dakota looked like a mixture of them both. Her eyes rested on the purple lion and she blinked. "You need me for something...?"

A blue bundle was missing as well. During the night, when all were asleep, Polaris'd taken the chance to sneak away for a renewed, desperate attempt at making use of her wings. Having become an early bird, she'd often have left the den barely after the sun'd start to shyly peak through the remains of the night. Cayimmi, however, had a nagging feeling something wasn't right. He hadn't seen her yet, and so a worried frown fluttered on his face while he strolled about, stretching his muscles.
The thoughts were tucked away as an ashen pink form walked by, apparently with her head on the clouds. It snatched the warrior a small smile. Adaeze'd been filled with so many doubts in the past... it was awesome to see the change. He couldn't help but wonder who'd brought such a change... "Well well, someone woke up very happy this morning, ay Lady Adaeze?"
Softly, Zephyrus landed on the fresh grass, letting Jasmyn slide down and straighten herself, the ghostly dark wings returning to their place as markings on his back. He watched her tenderly, as if lost in thoughts... The bliss was broken quickly, as someone seemed to be approaching. It was more than just a mere drop off, per say, so a greeting should be ensued. A deep roar was cast, powerful, yet respecting. His intention wasn't to cause an uproar. Chaos should be avoided at all costs, it was already enough to have a floating ex-godess hellbent into turning every soul into her puppet...

A green mane bristled as a newly adult and very christmas-e Corbin walked out of the cave. He blinked and looked around, spotting his two cousins, their mother(who's position in his family he hadn't taken the time to figure out) and his sister.... who was in a pool of water.
"Oi, oi oi..." He trotted towards them, standing beside Mel and nuzzling her lightly. "You're... wet.." He cast a glance at his cousins before stepping away with a light sigh.
Turning his gaze back to his sister, he blink. "Have you seen Polaris...?"
Corbin had taken it upon himself to look after his sisters, taking his father a somewhat of a role model. He was their... self title-d protector. To put it bluntly.
"I haven't seen her all morning..." his ears flattened, worriedly.

Her gaze turned to Cayimmi, a soft smile tugged at her muzzle. "Ah yes, so it seems Uncle Cayimmi.." She giggled slightly, the roar caught her attention a brow arched. "Dad is missing..Though, I dont want mom to know..yet. And I cannot find Sophie anywhere.." She sighed, and shook her head softly. She looked at her uncle once more, something seemed to be bothering him as well, and as a daughter, she knew it had to be child related. "Is everything alright?" she asked with an arched brow.
With a faint grunt, Melantha gave Dakota a most awful glare. "That was.." She didnt let the awful words fall from her muzzle as her cousin's mother appeared, she has very close to Uncle Benoni, and she didnt want him to know she used such words. "Bakari! Your all grown up too, Seems everyone is grown up but me.."She rolled her head back and looked at her christmas colored brother, "Corbie..Dakota is pushin lions into water." She sent him a faint pout before the fact her sister was missing was brought to her attention. "Polarie is gone? Sure she isnt flyin 'round here somewhere?" she asked with an arched brow.
Chuckling, he looked to his brother."How is that rude?" he smirked with a sly glance towards his newly grown brother, it was about time the pair had come into their manes. Though, Bakari seemed to look even more like their father each time he saw him. "Hi Mum.." He rose to his paws and nuzzled her cheek, "Oh? Cousin Melantha was fallin into the pond.." He smirked with a faint laugh.
Niobe knew her Queen's sister as soon as her eyes rested upon her, but the male at her side was unknown..Niobe was a protective mother, and this large, strange male posed a threat, specially since her brother had yet to show himself this morn. "Lady Jasmyn.." She greeted the lioness, her tones were friendly but she didnt let her gaze move away from the male. Her brother had smaller cubs as well, this could shift into a dangerous situation if the wrong moves were taken. "Sir.." She bowed her head in greeting to him, but lifted it quickly after.

Tequila started laughing, "You are not turning into a bird Daiquiri," she wondered what she could possibly say to her daughter the pure shock that had came from her face when she had seen the growing wings. She wondered what Benoni would say..speaking of which where was he. She heard someone call her name and she got to her feet and let out a roar as she scented her sister. She nuzzled her daughter and walked near the borders seeing Jasmyn but a male and her eyes went to him. "Jasmyn?" she asked.
Jasmyn had her own grin plastered upon her face looking to Tequila. "Hello Niobe. This is Zephyrus...Is Benoni around?" she asked curiously. "I suppose it includes you Kila but...yeah." What was she thinking? She knew Tequila would know something was up when she stumbled over her words. She was in for it...

Cayimmi looked away to the direction of the roar. An unknown male, and the unpleasant news that Benoni and Sophia weren't around... the timing couldn't be any worse. "I understand. I'll search for them as soon as whoever is at the borders is dealt with." His golden eyes turned back at Adaeze, a sigh of his own in turn rolling out. "Seems like today was especially chosen for disappearances, Adaeze... I haven't seen your niece, Polaris, the whole morning... More worrying yet, though, her bed was long cold when I woke up, and her scent has faded as well. She's been somewhat down lately, but... It isn't like her..."
The environment was tense, more than Zephyrus expected. A foreign male tends to cause some stress, but it seemed there were other reasons behind. Children? Young kits? Someone not in their place? The possibilities were plenty. He eyed the dark female, silent, analyzing her. Not the queen, but high ranked most likely. A brief nod of acknowledgement after being introduced. Then a colorful one arrived, similar to his beloved. Her sister. Jasmyn's hesitations caught his attention back. Unsure of what to say? The white lion smiled inwardly, his ears twitching, the characteristic twinkle of the frozen feather earrings sounding. That seemed... odd, coming from Jasmyn. One of the ends of his scarf discretely nudged one of her paws, a subtle encouragement.

Izzy Makani Adieu's ears perked up at her fathers words. "Oh ok. Thought you might have another place to go first." She replied. She had figured that the pride had a den or something like it but what else resided on the land she hadn't been sure of but she'd find out soon enough. *Quotes not sure if DB saw it on the last page or not* ^^'

Time skip!
Many of the members of the pride had reacted adulthood, even have taken mates...The last litter of royals have reached their adulthood..Days have passed, and one thing still remained. Benoni, and Polaris were still missing.
What had happened to the King and his Niece? Would they return home?
Lets see whose still around.

Everyday, Cayimmi watched the horizon unceasingly, checked the marks, patrolled the borders, frantic, almost feverish. The King was missing. His precious daughter was missing. Both without a trace, both without any news. To have his hero, his role model, away from the pride like this confused him. To have his precious, frail angel vanish from the lands... it just broke his heart. He was almost ashamed to admit that his concern went more for Polaris than Benoni, but, while the regal lion could very well take care of himself, Polaris... the sunset knight feared for her sake.
Once more, Cayimmi stood on the borders, searching the vast plains in front of his tired eyes. Stubborn, unrelenting. They would be back, they had to be...

"Father." the green and red lion walked towards where he had spotted his father. A little ways away, he stood firm, eyes focused still. His tone was serious; he had taken as much responsability has he could as he grew, responsability over his friends... his family...
With his sister gone, he felt like he had failed. He could have done something to stop it. He could have-
His eyes darted to the side as his expression darkened. "I want to find her. Polaris. Who knows what could be happening to her. Who k-" He cut himself off, eyes darting towards the sky as he thought. "I can't help but feel like it's my fault she's out there. I'm her brother. I should be able to help her. Shouldn't I?" His voice faded; weak, broken.

Niobe hadnt been her self since her daughter went missing, and with her brothers silent strength gone as well with his own missing face, she had wilted considerably.
Her eyes rested on her beloved, and her dearest son. She sighed softly as she made her way towards them, her tail hung low behind her, feathers dragging in the dirt.
"Its not your fault my son." Her soft voice replied as she nuzzled his cheek, she'd kept Melantha almost hostage in the family den, she wouldnt lose another of her children, no no, not again. She leaned her frame against her beloved softly with a sigh. "We'll find her..Im sure shes safe, shes a very smart girl.."
Adaeze already stood out a distance from her aunt and uncle as well as her cousin behind her, she had to find her father and cousin. She needed to see their faces, with a flick of her tail she leaped upon a boulder and looked around, she'd find them if it was the last thing she'd do.
Her ears were perked forward, she listened, sniffing the air the slightest thing to give her a sign of where they were, something, anything.
She let out a calling roar, hoping to maybe catch something in return besides her own roar echoing back at her.

There was a feeling of devastation, Cayimmi thought. As if they had been attacked and heavily defeated, counting the dead. But it had indeed been a hard blow.
He remained silent through the exchange between his son and mate, pondering their words. If someone was at fault, that would be him, for failing to relieve what mysterious trouble had clouded Polaris's mind the days before her disappearance. She'd insisted nothing was wrong, that she was just having trouble sleeping. Hiding her pain stubbornly. And now gone. It couldn't have been willingly, home was everything to the Blue Angel... she'd have left at least with a warning... kidnap, it could only be it...
The warrior remained still and silent, only his eyes moving, gazing at Adaeze on the distance, watching his oldest niece climb the boulder, thoughts diverted for a moment, listening to the roar and what may come back in answer.
The silence was deafening, the much sought after reply unexistant. Cayimmi's head lowered, his sight set on the ground. It'd pain him further to do this, but... who else had the best chances of finding Polaris? "Corbin..."

Kila seemed to grow weaker with every passing day, her heart and energy seemed to have faded and her once bright eyes faded to grey. She had grow distant and a recluse. Straying from everyone, and keeping herself. While laying on her usual sun rock waiting...but she had grown tired of it and now she slept as the days turned to nights and nights into days. Having enough, and deciding she needed air she heads out to search for herself... [rp in prps]

----------- Time Skip kinda thingy ---------------- As Benoni entered the lands tired, his body ached from a long journey back to his home. Rain poured down over the land, the water soaked male held a small smile as he entered his lands. They'd kept them for so long, and his pride, no his family was growing everyday. Though he'd been gone, he knew that he could come home and see his family's smiling faces.
Lifting his muzzle to the sky, he let out an earth shattering roar, announcing his return to his kingdom. Rain slipped down his face, as he made his way forward, it was so silent he thought worriedly now. No one was up and about...Benoni sniffed the air, their scents were still strong on the land. Lavender eyes widening at the roar, Niobe was the first to her paws, she looked to her nieces and nephews and smiled softly at them. Their mother leaving had taken a hard toll on them, the queen leaving the pride had been like a blow in battle field, it stung everywhere. "I'll go greet him, no use everyone getting a chill..." She said softly, their faces made her heart ache further. Polaris was still missing, and now she had to tell her brother that his mate had left him. She'd kill Kila if she ever saw her again, how dare she do this to him! She thought with a flick of her tail.
"Benoni!" she called out as she raced towards the boarders of the land.
The pair met up, wet nuzzles and a few exchange of words before she broke the news to him. Watching him, she saw his heart break, a sight she'd never forget. Her brother was broken, she could see it. Weary from his travels, and now this...she had to move quickly as he crumbled under it all.
She laid next to him, rain pouring over the pair, hiding his tears as sobs broke out.
