I can play the tuba and the baritone. My BD wants me to learn the trombone so in jazz band it isn't like this: "And over here we have the lower brass... a trombone and a baritone that's pretending to be a trombone. " I have to play trombone music with my baritone in jazz band.

I play trombone, which my band needs, but I think I would like to try the tuba, baritone, percussion, or sax.

Um, I don't play low brass, but i'd just like to say that i'm currently listening to Flight of the Bumblebee up to tempo, played on tuba. It's pretty incredible.

I can play any of them! Trombone, tuba, sousaphone, Baritone, euphonium, Bb trombone, valve trombone, as well as all the trumpets, french horn and mellophone....
basically anything with a mouthpiece.
I have been playing brass for 11 years now, and I started on trombone!

Penguin Gunner I can play any of them! Trombone, tuba, sousaphone, Baritone, euphonium, Bb trombone, valve trombone, as well as all the trumpets, french horn and mellophone.... basically anything with a mouthpiece. I have been playing brass for 11 years now, and I started on trombone! Hate to break it to you.....the tuba and the sousaphone are logistically the same thing. I used to march sousa, but I currently have major hip problems, so I play tuba during concert seaseon, I march trombone and play trombone in the brass ensemble. I dabble in bass guitar, bass cleff baritone, trumpet, clarinet, flute, and some saxaphone. Call me a band nerd.....I'll love you for it!

How long is it gonna take you people to realize that THE SOUSAPHONE IS A MARCHING TUBA.....THEY ARE THE SAME INSTRUMENT.....THEY'RE JUST MADE TO LOOK DIFFERENT.....XP Geeze.....And if anyone would like a further explaination of why that urks me.....then you can PM. Or if you also get highly peeved when people say they play the....."sousaphone and tuba" as if they're two seperate things.....then PM.....
