As the boy held the small girl in his arms though...A voice called out...
One that made him flinch..and sweat.
"Ohhh Nek-Daddy~" the scathing voice of Hel called, striding over. "Nekkie sweetie..I already discussed things with this harlot. She can be your concubine, and play with you..But only once a month. No more...."
Nekura winced at this, squeezing the silver haired girl tightly.
"Do you trust me..?" he called to the silver haired girl..who gave him a small nod.

"Yes..." she called softly...knowing what was coming.

"Right..Right...She was telling me that." Nekura called, lightly patting the girl's shoulder. "She may be a cute little toy every so often...But she's nothing before you..my Mistress."
"Oooohnnn..! That's a lovely saying! Tell me again! Tell me again how beautiful I am, Nekkie!"
"Why, you are second to none." Nekura called, throwing out his arms. "Your marvelous hair....your beautiful Nails...your sculpted physique..,,,None could ever be more beautiful or desirable than you...My beloved."
'Yes yes YES!" the woman called, positively squealing with joy. "That's EXACTLY what I want to hear! Now....Give me a little kiss, darling....And I'll let you and your concubine join me on my journey to taking over this remnant of a world! Oh, but I might need to do something to that face of hers. I can't STAND the idea of a servant having fairer skin than I..."
Nekura paced over to the woman at this, his heart pounding. This was the moment...This was what he was waiting for...This was the moment...
And, as she threw open her arms...He held his open...And moved over.
"Nothing but the best for my...Mistress." he called, moving to bring his arms from his sides and leaning in......
But halting his lips. The woman was waiting for an Embrace that would never come....A kiss to her decayed skin that would tear at his flesh..
A scent, so vile and repulsive, it would wretch the strongest stomachs like they were nothing....All of that was prevalent in her form....Along with a new, stranger sensation.

A Sharp...stabbing pain?
The feeling was strong in her back...Firm...and hideously prominent. Something had been planted in her...But...What? Some...dagger?
"Arghhh..! What..What DID you do, Nekkie?! What did you do?! WHAT DID YOU DOOOOOOO?!"
The stabbing pain was overwhelming...Her body convulsed in agony...and No matter how far her decaying power could stretch..It did nothing to halt the pain.....The horrific agony in her back....
Nekura paced away at this, stepping back from the horrific Miasma, and pulling Youmu back. The woman was writhing in agony...but, as she looked up...she saw a darkly familiar face...

"You seem surprised. A woman so cunning as you who deals in deception and murder should have expected as much," the voice suddenly came out of the shadows, and from the shadows emerged a tall form with dark hair and eyes that reflected the deepest of hatreds...his lips curled into a half-smirk half-snarl that both reflected the satisfaction of this long-savored moment and the inability to hide the pain and anger he felt just looking this hideous thing in the eye...and behind him came his bodyguard, Ravenna, her murderous glare enough to freeze the already-decaying blood inside of the Mistress of the Underworld's body, "Blood is Repaid in Blood. Or do you not remember what you did to my family?"

He shuddered in anger and satisfaction as he moved closer to Hel's form, crumbled to her knees in an agony she couldn't imagine. But try as she might, she couldn't move, paralyzed to the spot as her body began to feel as though it were melting from the inside out.

"Do you know how many years I waited for this...exact moment? Helpless, no father to hear your cries...no brother to ride to your rescue...no walls to keep you from the seed of betrayal that you sowed?" he knelt down in front of her and came near to within an inch of her face, sneering venomously as he came close enough to smell her stink and yet it seemed all he could do not to tear her head off where she knelt, "Do you know...how many centuries I searched for just the right poison...? One that would affect even the Trickster God's plague maiden daughter...but not kill you straight away, oh no..." Suddenly he stood...and from his back he raised his spear, silver tip dripping in a clear liquid...and as he stepped back, he lowered it to the human-looking side of her face, mere millimeters from her cheek.

"I wanted to see your face as you died...I wanted you to live long enough to feel the humiliation of helplessness...endure the agony of your body, your sense of self, your humility being stripped from your body..." he growled, letting the sharp edge of his spear's blade graze her cheek...drawing black blood that suddenly began to bubble...and slowly, agonizingly slowly, it began to eat away at the flesh of her cheek...burning, down to the bone beneath...stripping away what little humanity seemed to be visible upon her, "I want to leave you bare...wailing...to feel every...last...moment of it...just like my beautiful sister Morrighan suffered, thanks to you. And I wanted you to know...deep in your soul...that I am the one who did this to you."

He drew back his blade as she wailed, her face being eaten away by poison...her back pierced, eaten away by the Dagger of Betrayal Nekura had planted in her. And as he looked down at her his smirk faded...replaced with the cold, remorseless look of a man dismissing a demon that had haunted him far longer than any man who walked this Earth would ever know...

"The Cernunnos Remember. And you, Hel...Mistress of the Underworld...Traitor to the family who sheltered and protected you," he spoke, turning his back to her at last...at last able to close the book on a centuries-old grudge and the pain it brought, "You, Hel, shall disappear."
