(Sorry I took so long - been busy, and I honestly thought I'd replied. sweatdrop )

The pups yelped lightly in surprise before ganging up on their mother, climbing all over her and batting at her, teaming up against her in that bizarre little game of theirs as their Daddy looked on.
Rex looked understandably relieved when he saw that Ember was fine and with two of the other three kids - that meant he was safe from Shadow's wrath.
...Wait, other three?
The fossil enthusiast furrowed his brow slightly in puzzlement, doing a quick head count; sure enough, there was an extra head waddling over to him... a gray one. He looked down, and sure enough, there was a gray baby Smeargle with rainbow-colored eyes standing there, staring back curiously as it absentmindedly painted the cave floor with all sorts of childlike designs. "...Hey Dita? Did Shadow and Trinity have another baby while I wasn't looking?" Rex checked with the Kirlia, still staring at the little paintbrush-tailed Pokémon.

Trust: 92 (Can You Get Any More Trusting Than This?)
Affection: 100 (Mates for Life)
Trauma: 40 (Scarred)
Restraint: 50 (Neutral)
Level (Approximate): 24
Moveset: Quick Attack (Obscurate-boosted), Metal Claw, Power-Up Punch, Dark Sphere, Metal Sound
Perks:
Big Brother - Shadow has become protective of a Pokémon or person, viewing them as a younger sibling. Trauma and Restraint checks may get bonuses or penalties if said Pokémon or person is involved. Certain checks may even be passed or failed automatically. Current Siblings - Torch the Combusken, Saph the Wartortle

Telepathic Communication: Shadow is capable of communicating with others via telepathy. Should Trust drop below 25, Affection drop below 0, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.

Human Tongue: Shadow is capable of communicating in English. Should Trust drop below 50, Affection drop below 20, or Trauma rise above 100, he will stop using this ability until the offending stat is corrected.

Stable Aura: Shadow's Aura no longer induces fear in Pokémon, and fellow Dark-types will now automatically view him as a friend, if not borderline worship him. Should Trauma rise above 80, this perk will be lost until it lowers back to 80.

Aura Arsenal (Sub-Perk of Stable Aura): Due to his Aura's new stability, Shadow is now capable of manipulating his Aura, creating Aura-based attacks that do not take up moveslots. Should Stable Aura be lost or otherwise made void, this perk will be disabled as well. Techniques:
- Aura Flare: Shadow flares his aura, dispelling binding/anti-escape moves (Bind, Whirlpool, Mean Look, etc.) and knocking away nearby opponents. Direct damage is negligible, however.
- Aura Skate: Shadow applies Aura to his feet as a sort of padding, allowing him to glide an inch or so above the ground across both liquid and solid surfaces with speeds he normally wouldn't be able to achieve due to friction. This technique also negates the effect of slippery or sticky surfaces. However, Shadow must be in constant motion while using this technique; if he stops, the Aura padding will fail to support his body weight, and he will stop hovering.
- Aura Berserker: Shadow overloads his entire body with Aura, increasing his power and speed to impressive levels and fully healing him at the cost of Defense and Special Defense; in addition, the technique has a time limit of 5 minutes, after which the strain of channeling that much Aura throughout his body will render him unconscious. Attempting to use this technique beyond the five-minute limit may result in severe and potentially lethal injuries. While using this Aura technique, he cannot use Dark Sphere or any other Aura Arsenal techniques with the exception of Aura Flare, since most of his Aura is channeled throughout his body and the rest is leaking out around him. (WARNING - This technique cannot be controlled until Shadow has the following stats: 40 Trauma, 75 Restraint, level 40. Until then, it will only activate under dire circumstances, and it will usually cause him to lose himself to his instincts, making him attack anything he perceives as a threat (and possibly a few things that he doesn't).)

Improvisation: Shadow can now invent unique attacks based off his existing move set, observation of others' attacks, instinct, or outright improvising. If he forgets a move, he cannot use any variations or combinations using that move unless he later remembers said move. Improvised, observation-based, and instinct-based moves take up moveslots, but variation and combination moves do not.
- Dark Sphere (Instinctive): Dark Sphere is similar to Aura Sphere, but is super-effective against Psychic-types and Ghost-types, normally effective against Dark-types, and even less effective than a normal Aura Sphere against Fairy-types. Should Trauma rise above 60, Shadow will become incapable of using it due to the corresponding increase in his Aura's instability.
- Power-Up Pummel (Combination - Power-Up Punch and Quick Attack/Extreme Speed): Shadow combines the speed of a Quick Attack with the fury of a Power-Up Punch, unleashing a flurry of initially weak punches that grow stronger with each hit. (Note: This move can be adapted to fit with other punching moves.)
- Fastball (Combination - Punching/kicking move and Dark Sphere): Shadow creates a Dark Sphere, then punches or kicks it instead of throwing it. This not only boosts the Dark Sphere's speed and power (albeit at the cost of the lock-on feature), but also imbues it with some of the power of the punch/kick used - for example, a Fire Punch will imbue it with fire energy, a Power-Up Punch will make it even stronger, and so on.

Aura Tutor: Shadow is now capable of teaching Trinity and other Pokémon to use Aura. The ones that have the highest chance of being able to learn from him are Fighting-types and Pokémon capable of learning Aura Sphere. Students: Trinity

Mega Evolution (Deactivated): You have a Key Stone and Dark Lucarionite. At ≥90 Trust, ≥90 Affection, ≤50 Trauma, and ≥25 Restraint, Shadow can Mega Evolve.

Enhanced Memory: Shadow can remember more moves than most Pokémon due to the enhancements forced on him. A larger memory could theoretically be added, but exact details are unknown. Current Extra Moveslots: 1

Trinity laughed before grabbing one as she tickled another and nibbling the last one. The mother was sure to be careful to not be too rough.
Dita blinked before looking at the baby Smeargle. "No, I don't think so. Shadow is a Lucario. I don't trinity cheated or we would of seen a very very Angry Shadow." Dita said. "Where is your Mama, little one?" She asked walking to the Smeargle.

Yosei and Ember giggled as they were grabbed and tickled respectively, whereas Ladon started to nibble back playfully... albeit with sharper teeth than Trinity had. Shadow grinned and started tickling Yosei and Ember as well, causing the two to giggle even more.
The baby Smeargle stared up Dita curiously, clearly not understanding the question. After a moment, it proceeded to reach for her with its paintbrush-tail in hand, clearly intending to make the talky-thing more colorful. Fortunately for Dita, Rex noticed the Smeargle about to paint her face and went to pick up the little guy, so he ended up getting rainbow-colored paint all over his face instead. "Hey, nooo. I am not a canvas, I'm people - you do not paint people!" He spat out a bit of paint and held the Smeargle at arm's length. Naturally, that didn't deter the baby Smeargle in the slightest, the little guy starting to paint all over his arms - you had to admire the persistence, if nothing else.

Trinity focused on tickling Ladon as her mate handled the other two. "You are so cute." She said to Ladon.
Dita giggled before taking the baby Smeargle out of Rex's hands. She then placed the baby on a spare blanket before quickly used magical leaf to entertain the little one.

Ladon babbled quite seriously at her, giggling as he was tickled.
The Smeargle stared at the strange green things curiously a moment, absently batting at them as he attempted to paint them, before a rather interesting phenomenon took place: his skin shifted and changed, becoming barklike with grass green highlights, his tail shifting to vaguely resemble a flower and his paint changing to rather heavily resemble tree sap as his eyes became a rich forest green. He then proceeded to swipe his tail, and a bunch of leaves formed from the resulting paint and started floating in midair. The little guy repeated the process again and again, and soon he was surrounding by a rather large amount of leaves, all glowing with surprisingly powerful Grass-type energy as they joined Dita's leaves in dancing around him... and then he promptly returned to normal, his "bark" shedding off him like a snake sheds its skin as he resumed trying to paint all the green things floating around.
Rex blinked owlishly, staring at the baby Pokémon that had apparently changed into a Grass-type and back with no apparent warning. "...He can do that?" ...Well, weird transformations aside, he had to admit the little guy was pretty cute, if a bit messy, what with his constant attempts to paint anything that moved (and several things that didn't).

Ladon babbled happily, climbing over to his mother's face and starting to paw at her once more, much to Shadow's amusement. "The pups are just going to walk all over you, aren't they?" he teased his mate, shifting slightly to tickle Yosei and Ember easier.
Naturally, the Smeargle quickly became distracted by the new shinies, just like any other baby would. He didn't seem to notice as he shrank slightly and became chibi with pink eyes, but he did notice when his tail-paint started glittering, focus repeatedly switching between his sparkly new tail and the similarly sparkly green things - it was really quite adorable.
It was at that point that Dusk came over to point out that they should probably get moving, only to blink in mild surprise when he saw the baby chibi-Smeargle stumbling over its own feet in multiple attempts to catch both its tail and the shiny green things. "...Where'd he come from?"
"No idea, but he seems like a fun little guy," Rex admitted cheerfully.

Trinity rolled her eyes at Shadow. "No they aren't. I'm not that soft only because they are so little that they can." She said as she kissed Ladon's forehead before yawning. She was still tired from the late night birth.
"Yes, he is but I am concerned of where his parents are." Dita said to Rex and Dusk.

Shadow grinned slightly, but nevertheless let it go. "You all right there?" he asked instead, referring to the yawn.
Ladon tilted his head slightly, babbling questioningly to his mama - did she need a nap? She seemed like she needed a nap.
Almost as if he knew he was being talked about, the Smeargle turned curiously at the sound of voices, forgetting about the sparkly leaves and tail as he scurried up to Dusk. After a moment of staring at the big furry thing, he immediately began painting it (or rather, its legs) - this talky-thing needed a LOT more colors.
Dusk looked down at the intently painting baby, then looked back up at Dita with an expression that was somehow both emotionless and deadpan. "Oh yes, because clearly the little guy is completely and utterly traumatized by his lack of parents," he drawled.
Rex blinked, the sarcasm going over his head. "Really? He seems fine to me. Still, better figure out what the little guy's parents look like, at least." He leaned down, causing the Smeargle to pause and look over at him. "Hey, you got any idea where your mom and dad are?"
The Smeargle stared curiously, obviously still not understanding the question.

"Just a little tired. I don't think I'm really recovered from late night." Trinity said as her eyes started to droop.
"Well he might not be traumatized but his parents might be." Dita said before taking the Smeargle's tail to expertly paint a small picture of a mama and papa Smeargle. Then a question mark.

Shadow smiled faintly to her. "Rest, love; I'll wake you up if anything happens," he murmured.
Meanwhile, Ladon concluded that, yes, his mama needed a nap and plopped down, staring ahead intently. Clearly the serious little guy was intending to keep watch for predators - it was kind of adorable, really.
The Smeargle stared curiously at the two pictures, examining them carefully. After a moment, though, he seemed to get what she was trying to ask, because he became quiet and silently proceeded to draw an X over the two figures, staring at them wistfully. Still, he bounced back quickly enough, soon grabbing his tail once more and reaching up in another attempt to paint Dita.

Trinity smiled then closed her eyes. Her arms cuddled Ladon close as she fell right in to REM. The new mother was comforted by the fact she was protected by her mate.
Dita swallowed seeing that the Smeargle was an orphan. She picked him up and hugged him. She then drew a picture of the two of them. Right after, Dita started to glow. She grew taller and her skirt grew to a longer dress. Her hair smooth out and once the evolution was done. Dita blinked and smiled down to the Smeargle that now fit nicely in her arms. She then kissed his cheek.

(I feel Rex has just died from the new version of Dita)

(You mean cause of all his blood rushing to his nether regions? Or would that be because of his brain shutting down? xd )

Ladon attempted to stay awake to help Daddy stay watch, but soon his eyelids started drooping, and just like that he was out like a light.
The Smeargle blinked once more, but as before, seemed to understand the general idea, snuggling into Dita's arms happily.
Rex, on the other hand, was blatantly staring at his more-than-a-best-friend, her sudden evolution making him acutely aware of the fact that she was a beautiful female in ways that he'd noticed more subtly in her previous form.

((Yeah that))

The other two pups, Yosei and Ember, joined their brother in their mother's arms to sleep. The puppy pile snuggled together happily.
Dita turned to Rex, "It is ok that I take him as my son right?" SHe asked her trainer. She now was eye level with him. Dita blinked noticing the staring, "Are you ok?" She asked concerned.

Rex snapped out of it at that last bit, blinking dazedly. "Huh...? Yeah, I'm fine. Anyway, sure, I don't have a problem with that, the little guy seems like he'll be great to have around," he answered honestly. "Congrats on evolving, by the way; you look gorgeous - I mean beautiful, er, I mean, uh..." Aaand she broke him.
Off to the side, Dusk rolled his eyes, mouthing to Dita, Just make your damn claim on the idiot before the epiphany wears off!
The baby Smeargle just watched curiously, idly wondering if maybe the other talky-thing was his Mama's mate.
