╔══════════════╗ Patrick returned back to his regular work schedule at the hotel as a room service personnel and one more day before end of his work schedule. Nothing in particular seemed to stand out to him and worked up to his lunch break. Kept to himself here while reading a few chapters from his book and had his lunch inside as usual then clock back in. Clocked out after his shift was over for the day then went to get Hiro to go to the park as usual. After all its about the right kind of weather today in being outdoors. Thinking of spending some time alone out in town before the daily video chat with Kenzie like yesterday.[exit] ╚══════════════╝

For that matter, it was her first day at any job ever. When she applied, she hadn't thought she would actually get the position. She thought that the owner would take one look at her and label her unqualified. Not that she didn't have people skills, she was very social, and she was organized enough that she could manage check-ins and checkouts, but she looked like she would go into labor any day now. She doubted that would happen, but still. They had given her a standard uniform, but she ended up having to replace bits of it in order to make it fit.
She had a swivel chair and a book behind the front desk, and her lunch was back in the staff room. That would be enough to tide her over for this shift. Supposedly there was someone else working here, but as of yet she had not seen him. Nothing in particular seemed to stand out to him and worked up to his lunch break. Maybe she would actually meet the other person that worked here? She kind of doubted that either would prove true, but it was a motivating thought. When she wasn't checking people in, she was at work straightening things up in the back and getting everything organized. She hadn't been asked to do it, but it sort of bugged her not to. At some point, someone else would be taking her job, and she wanted to leave things nice and tidy for that person, make it easier for them to learn the ropes. Almost got distracted about how mundane this job has gotten that nothing surprises him anymore. "Hmm, maybe I should change jobs.
