Was that her voice? She couldn't understand. She couldn't speak - she couldn't move. How had she just told him that? A new, gripping fear started to worm its way into her heart, and she opened her mouth repeatedly to warn Jude. She'd never told him about the clones, had she? Open, and closed. Open, and closed. Nothing came out.

Hearing his name, Jake spun around, trying to locate where it was coming from. ... Sherry? He finally realized it was coming from above, and he pointed the flashlight back at ceiling, grimacing at the mass of bodies. How the hell did Sherry get-
He heard screams, and he acted without thinking. "SHERRY!!" He sought desperately for a way to get into the ceiling.

Shu has reached the second stage of infection! Everyone around her has turned to blobs of colour. Her mind cannot differentiate friend from foe. Words begin to slow down, and even her weapon is hard to understand.
She is also feeling pretty hungry, and those shapes around her seem pretty delicious. meegane Shu CAN attack anyone but right now her bites do not carry an infection yet. She can also attack with her weapon, doing whatever damage she rolls in melee damage to another person.

She frantically moved another body out of her way.
She gagged, it smelt pretty horrible.

Infected- First stage He was okay, so far. He felt fine. He was fine. These things spread slowly, right? He had a few hours? He was okay. It was Ripley's voice, that one word cut off and then those that subsequently followed that did him in. He began to laugh, a low sound, Trynt still held loosely in his hand but soon desummoned, leaving both of his hands free. The chuckles started out quiet at first, and it was likely that nobody could hear, but soon it became more like a choked sound, his mouth and throat becoming dry, raspy, as pain shot down his arm from his wound. He muffled his mouth with his good arm to stifle his own hysterical laughter. His head was suddenly throbbing, his face felt flushed. He was sweating. No. No he was still okay. This was all just in his head. Somebody approached, he could only barely make them out, his voice the only distinguishing feature. <********. You. Ja--" Finn began, the words a raspy struggle that were cut off by a sudden coughing fit, one that sent blood spraying everywhere in the vicinity, but mostly towards Jack.

Damn it Harlow.
INFECTED - Early stage
As the Mist started to pick up the final body she almost grinned she felt a relief wash over she was excited, she was hoping that she was going to be able get them out of there. She got excited too soon however. as she lifted the body she heard a growl and before she could react a sudden pain ran up her arm. She let out a scream and grabbed her arm.
Everything felt heavy, she felt light, and most annoyingly everything was cold. She stumbled back attempting to gain her balance. Maybe it wasn't that bad? Yeah. But she was determined that they were going to get out of here some how. At least she was still thinking kind of straight. She stumbled back to Zascha, she was sure that she wasn't as injured as he was... or so she thought. When she got to his side she tripped and ended up on his side. "I'm- I'm going to get us out of here." She felt a cough at the back of her throat but she paused to hold it back. "I think I need to just... stop for a moment." With that came the coughing and the blood, she tried to cover her mouth and then looked down at her hands mortified.

The hiss of sound did indeed catch Lydia's attention, and her flashlight dropped lower to the sound. Oh! It was Mark! She stared at him for a long moment, blinking slowly before she understood that maybe, just maybe, ducking into that small fortification with her divisions assistant lead might actually be a very good idea (and not just because he was still looking so very rugged and manly)
"I-I'll be back." She whispered to Aro, and then ducked away from him, moving across the floor as silently as possible and ducking down further when she drew near.
She seemed to have made it without attracting attention, and crouched down to climb in beside mark quietly.

When the lights went out America went very, very still. The desire for light was immediate and brief. Her first action was to put away her phone, and the temptation to use it as a flashlight or to send a text for help. They were in an open area, one becoming increasingly unsecured if the sounds of fighting and the quick, revealing flashes of other people's flashlights were anything to go by. She could try the phone when they were somewhere safe. Her second action was to reach out for Konstantin and she knew, even before touching his sleeve, that he would be there. Leaning in she said quietly in his ear, voice near emotionless, "We need something to keep us together without ******** over our movement. Be careful about waving around any sort of light though. Paints a target." As if on cue, America's foot hit a flashlight. She picked it up, and the weight of it in her hand was a good one, but true to her own words, she refrained from using it just yet. "Pey," she said, voice still low, and difficult to hear over the alarms and sounds of violence. "You got Noah? We need to get our backs against a wall."

He didn't look away, couldn't draw his face away because the light hit her, and he froze, and he broke, more then in anyways Scavenger had broke him. He didn't want her touch, her words. He wanted Julie. Whole and okay and alive and why, why, why. He couldn't draw his eyes away from the skin that fell off, leaving nothing of her features. Just the voice. Just her voice.
"Wha...What's going on..." His voice cracked just a little, but he didn't take his eyes away from her. "Wh..What is this...?"
"Wh....what happened...." What happened to you...he wanted to ask, how could she be here now? In this time? In this place? Was she part of the zombie infection, was she some test subject they carted from the Sahara? His stomach wanted to wretch, as goosebumps from her touch spread over his skin. Zoobey omg what is this, what are you doingsdkffdskfjslkj

He was trying very hard to keep himself and Maebe safe. Trying so hard that he didn't question that the voice that was supposedly hers at least until he slowed his run just enough to glance around in the darkness and to him there was no hallway. "Um. Mae. I know it is hard to notice, but it's dark. What Hallway." He answered the voice despite deep down knowing something was very off about this whole Petrified Comrade talking thing. But he had to sass something. His quota hadn't been met yet.

Carhop Cavalier he sprinted through the opening He made it through the opening, both him and Ami in once piece. She began to break into a run. "This way! We're almost there!" She pointed towards the fence. They were outside. Chiickadee The real Ami is knocked out by a figure in the process of running. When she awakens, she will find herself right next to Dakota. It seems however, Dakota can't recognize her at all. She is tied up, and there seem to be other figures around her. Lex is nowhere to be seen.

Ideally, like always, Milo would have wanted to enthusiastically greet his friends that had arrived into the room that he hadn't even known had showed in the first place. Of course he couldn't, because things always happened. Always. The Sun made a face, should have known. (There were loads of Power Ranger references here, naturally, because what wouldn't be an episode if things didn't happen? Especially like monster attacks!) Though, to be clear it wasn't obvious that monsters were attacking or anything in the first place when the lights went out - at that point, his hand gripped Noemi's shoulder just in case - but then it just... yeah, bad stuff was happening once people got their flashlights working and pointing them around and stuff.
Milo didn't find a flashlight. But at least Noemi did, whom he was going to stick near regardless if she had or not. Because he needed to protect her (she was scared, her sniffles were telling) even though he wanted to help out. (People were fighting each other! Screams were going on! Blood and infections and zombies!) But, he stuck close to the small group he had found himself in - that sort of dragged him about, which he didn't mind in the least. Safety in numbers perhaps, protect them and be their guard. Milo summoned Koume into one hand and reached out towards Noemi and grabbed onto one of her sleeves with the others.Quote: who else quoted me? lol... uuuh

Ripley~ He heard from behind him, the voice a sweet sounding one that made his heart ache. He turned and saw nothing, but felt that she was there, ready to brush back his hair and fuss with his clothing to both soothe him and make him presentable again. Another voice rang, deeper this time and ahead of him, talking about something that made complete sense, and simultaneously unheard, unable to be processed properly. It kept happening, the voices of those who shouldn't be here, the ones he had left behind in one way or another. It became overwhelming, and frighteningly quickly, until there was nothing more than a blur.
Then, silence. Glorious, needed silence.
There was a cage, and someone inside it, pacing. They paused long enough to look at him - actually look at him, he swore he could feel the weight of that gaze through the mask and bars - and suddenly, they were gone.
"H-hey...wait..." He stammered, the nausea still present through the lightness of his head. "Come back -" He pleaded, feeling odd about the whole thing. Someone was stuck in a cage. Someone needed his help, someone -
- Was shining a light in his face?
"Stay. Away." Ripley managed, only barely containing the fear in his voice. The swing of the light wasn't from someone who had control of their motor functions. It was a lucky pass, if that. But it was a pass nonetheless, and it illuminated him to one horrific, terrible truth: Everyone was infected, and they were after him.
"You're already infected." He accused almost immediately after Chel shouted. Now, he scrambled to his feet quickly, and backed up as fast as he could manage, trying to put obvious distance between himself and everyone he had vaguely considered a friend.xSeussi Hello, Ripley is hallucinating xAkina Tokuwa Hello darling, sorry for the million quotes, just keeping you in the loop!
