Earendil had found a grassy area for himself and Lin to work in, where it was safe for him to lay out his maps without getting them muddy on the bottom.

"Now if I copied this correctly - which Kyrie assures me I did - then we're going to end up going through a very dangerous stretch," he murmured. He pointed it out to Lin. "Here. Probably close to ... eight hundred, a thousand miles where we either pass through Poleria or Jielam, which Kyrie says are both dangerous. Some of the most dangerous countries we'll be passing through."

He glanced at her. "We're going to have to make sure we're prepared for that. Maybe ask Andarien and Miyuki to up their Pokemon's training."

Lin nodded, "And maybe come up with plans in case we get attacked. Iorlas, Amir and Eron won't be able to fight, which means we have to make sure they're protected if we get ambushed."

It felt odd to be more worried about those three than their own children. While Andarien did have that issue of him going into shock, Eron agreed it could have been the result of the stress over the few days, and Andarien had his Pokemon.

"What'cha looking at?" Miyuki made it up to her parents and bent over to see the map they had been studying.

Earendil jumped despite himself. He hadn't heard Miyuki approaching them, and not hearing people approaching was something he still hadn't gotten used to, and something he still didn't like.

"Future travel plans," he replied once his heartbeat returned to normal. He passed one hand over his brow as if wiping away sweat, though in this cool weather there was none there. Then he looked up at Miyuki and smiled at her. "And you're looking energetic. Good progress today?"

"It's done!" Miyuki grinned from ear to ear.

She paused and then added.

"Well at least the basics, as time goes on I will add to it, but not right now."

While she did love the tent, it was tempting to drift off to another project, that was probably tent related but not actually having anything to do with the tent.

"So it's got warm rooms to sleep in and a forge for Andarien?" Earendil grinned. That after all had been Miyuki's aim, to his understanding. They could cook and eat outside if they needed, but with Winter coming up, they needed a warm place to sleep.

He was curious to know how things like that would work. How would the home be lighted? How would it be kept warm? Would they hear if something was going on outside the tent? It wouldn't be very safe if they couldn't.

Miyuki nodded at this, "Or at least warmer than the tents, and the tents are pretty decent since they run on the same idea."

It was just it couldn't exist on a completely different plane for many safety reasons. The first was needing the ability to hear what was going on outside, and the second was if the entrance was ever destroyed the plane would pop and more or less puke everyone back out since it existed along side this plane rather than a completely separate plane.

That was a head scratchier for Miyuki as it involved a different way of thinking, but much safer that way. The only people she could think of, who could get themselves back to their original plane if the entrance was destroyed was Cael and Lancaeriel.

"I was hoping to grab you and mom, and Uncle Dareon and Aunt Iorlas to take a look, and Silverbirch offered to go look for Cael and Lancaeriel as well."

Earendil smiled broadly. "That sounds great," he agreed. He rolled up the maps he was using and pushed himself to his feet. He felt a bit lightheaded when he stood up, and he had to pause a moment to let it pass; then he shook his head and picked up the maps.

"So have you found your aunt and uncle yet?" he asked Miyuki, holding a hand down to Lin to help her to her feet as well. He knew she didn't need it, but it was something he liked to do for her anyways.

Taking Earendil's hand, Lin lifted herself up, "I think they are by their tent. Iorlas has been busy sewing from the last I heard."

Miyuki nodded to her mother, "I haven't gotten them yet, but if they're there then I'll head there next. Auntie offered to modify my winter gear, it's better than having to replace them."

Since there wasn't much else she could do with them otherwise.

Earendil chuckled softly. "I'd have thought you'd have given that to her weeks ago," he grinned. "Or were you sidetracked by your project?"

Once Lin was standing, he brushed himself off and nodded for Miyuki to lead the way back to the camp.

Heading back to camp, Miyuki hummed at that question just a bit. Mainly because she had been just a bit distracted.

"Maybe just a bit...." she admitted after a while, "There was a lot to cover."

"Still, you could have taken at least a bit if a time out," Lin teased.

Though it was rare that Miyuki took weeks on one project alone, so it was quite huge.

"Now, Lin, let's be fair," Earendil chuckled. "We could have reminded her, too."

They had all been busy, after all.

When they got back to the camp, Daeron was lying on his stomach on a blanket, reading a book, while Amir sat on his back, playing with Andarien's old blocks. Iorlas wasn't in sight.

From the opposite direction, Shoneah was just returning as well, with Lancaeriel and Cael in tow. The three of them seemed to be in deep conversation, which they continued as they approached the tents.

It was kind of adorable to see Amir play on Dareon's back, and Lin had to chuckle at the sight as they got closer.

"Don't you two look cute," she commented once they were close enough.

Miyuki giggled, agreeing with her mother on that.

"Hey Uncle Dareon, where's Auntie?"

Daeron chuckled. "It's easiest to know where he is like this, what can I say?" He grinned up at the group. "Iorlas is inside the tent, finishing up some mending. Amir's starting to get into absolutely everything, so she thought it might be safer to have him out here while she works."

Amir looked up at the three who had just arrived, silent as usual, but his gaze was thoughtful.

"Makes sense," Miyuki agreed, "I finished the tent, so I was wondering if you and Auntie would like to see it."

She hoped they would, she had made theirs larger, it was the only room within a room.

Daeron grinned. "Love to!" he beamed. He put one hand behind himself, holding Amir so that the boy wouldn't fall, and then carefully rolled over. Then he stood up and looked down at Amir.

"Come on, time to get Mama," he told him cheerfully.

Amir's eyes lit up, and he scrambled to his feet and ran to the tent.

Daeron chuckled softly. "We'll be right out," he promised the others, following after his son, who had pushed back the tent flap and was stumbling on his way in.

"Cutie," Lancaeriel murmured as she, Cael and Shoneah arrived back with the others. She smiled at Miyuki. "So we hear you have the tent ready for occupancy?"
