Mephlius followed Tokeru to the dojo, and took off his leather jacket. "Alright, then. I'll try not to go crazy and Lycan."

Tokeru stood up, and stood straight, arms down at his sides.

Mephlius gave him a confused look. "I thought you were going to teach me moves... I'm assuming you want to spar, first?" He shrugged. "Fair enough." He charged at Tokeru, delivering a punch towards the face. However, it was a feint. He stopped the punch, expecting him to go to some extend to dodge or block it. He suddenly twisted, dropped, and went for a sweep kick.

Tokeru watched as Mephlius ran towards him and punched. Tokeru saw the muscles tensing in his legs and instead of dodging the punch, stepped into Mephlius' reach and slammed his elbow toward's the lycan's solar plexus as the man began to drop to kick.

Mephlius couldn't stop his forward movement. He took the hit to the Solar Plexus, and stumbled backwards to avoid any follow-up hits. He took a defensive stance, and waited for an opening.

Tokeru stopped. "First mistake, feinting. Your muscles betray you, as do your eyes and your actions. The point of a true feint, is that even if the enemy knows it's a feint, you can still hit them with your original hit. As to your betraying your movements. What I want you to do is close your eyes and try to see where I am using your other senses."

Mephlius nodded, and closed his eyes. He took a deep breath through his nose, detecting the scents of the area. He also focused on his hearing, using two of his most powerful senses... probably the most powerful, to detect Tokeru's location.

Tokeru moved swiftly, stepping forwards with a burst of speed and batted Mephlius on the back of his head. "Not scent and hearing. Instinct. Use your instincts. "
He moved back to his original location. "Try again"

Hokaru Moneru Tokeru moved swiftly, stepping forwards with a burst of speed and batted Mephlius on the back of his head. "Not scent and hearing. Instinct. Use your instincts. " He moved back to his original location. "Try again"

Tokeru nodded to himself and smiled. "Now, concentrate on where I was standing, place a mental picture of myself in your mind. Once you have that tell me."

Mephlius focused on that mental picture. His stance, his positioning, where he was looking... He pictured it all.

Tokeru smiled, Mephlius seemed to be picking it up quickly. "Now, I want you to charge at me this time, just do a straight punch, I will dodge it but try to follow me. It may take you a few times before you understand what i'm talking about, but you'll get it eventually. I want you to empty your mind and just focus on what I'm doing, let your body do what it will, It knows better than your mind how to catch me."
