Slash Zinrai You know, for all your talk about where you stand when it comes to Role-Play...You have a really nasty attitude. Oh sure, you thinly veil it beneath a veneer of pompous experience; but that doesn't change what's really at the core of you. In our fight, alone, I've watched you push an OOC agenda in character almost the entire time...Going on, and on, and on about how "Well I wonder what bullshit he's gonna do next"... Paraphrasing, naturally. pirate Oh, this fight is just so unfair; when, in all actuality, you just don't -read- very well. I realized it in our first fight, and then started noticing it in your Plot-posts for Sigil...You skim, and infer. Deny it all you want, but you know people have called you out on this before...It's no different now. You push your agenda regardless of the facts, and then have the nerve to back it up with IC/OOC backlash. Instead of winning honorably, and with skill, you would rather demean me in hopes of taking a victory through deceit. For shame, hero of the people! For shame. Ahh, but even if you lose...You already have a system in place to counteract your defeat...What was it that you said a few pages ago? Something about only letting the fights you enjoy count, otherwise they never happened? wink Instead of looking for answers in the battle, you're too busy begging for help beyond it. Oh make no mistake, I'm gonna finish the fight. What I say here, does not in reality effect our fight, beyond the fact that its bullshit and the effort I'm gonna put into it is far less than I would put into a valid opponent. You've been called out on your terrible character creation and balance issues before, this isn't the first time you've heard this criticism from me or anyone else. You claiming that I skim is just a distraction from the fact that your character is ridiculously broken by any standard.

Tres Ecstuffuan your character is ridiculously broken by any standard. Do you really believe that? Or is it that you have a completely separate argument to make and aren't saying the right thing? Because from what I've read of your complaint so far, the problem isn't that his character is "ridiculously broken by any standard" but it's that he gains resource points too quickly and from literally everything, meaning that he effectively has unlimited uses of his abilities that are supposedly limited by a resource pool.

Oh, because in HoH I fought an undead that could heal herself for free with an approved character? I got accused of tanking, because my opponent...just like you...bitched the entire fight about how "Oh! He's soooooooo broken..." that when judging came around they completely ignored my injuries; turning a brutal fight that you enjoyed, per your OOC comments, into a joke. I earn my victories through my actions ONLY...I don't need to whine in character, or out of it, to make myself feel better. As for your little trash fest in The Hive about my character...You STILL have no idea what my abilities do, and now that we're six posts in and I've finally started using my power set. "Oh! He's sooooooo broken...". I have to generate fury before I can even utilize my abilities, where-as you have liberally been throwing PP around the arena like it's going out of style... Have I complained? I avoided your attacks because you're s**t with placement, and have literally no understanding of how to interact within a free-form space; judging distance based on where ever you want to be, as opposed to where things actually are. And, normally, people just let you roll over them...when they don't, you panic. Per your actions here. So, by all means, continue to tell me how "broken" I am...and punish me by "not giving me your best." Honestly, I think I'll be okay. wink EDIT :: Actually, wait...no! I've been called out on THIS character by people who knew nothing about it, and only Scaler has ever actually seen my profile...outside of the judging staff for the CoC. No one ever called Dithikar broken, and any other character I've used that might have been "above tier" was never intended for tournament roleplay. So, moot point anyway.

The resource management is a part of it. His abilities go to the extent that even having a resource pool system is pointless. Once he hits a certain point, he gains resources twice as fast and access to his abilities ramp up exponentially. He can use multiple individual powers per post. He spent the first 6 post of the fight, building meter. Hitting him doesn't actually do anything as much as makes him stronger, that and he dodged almost everything. This just isn't fun.

I haven't started using my abilities yet, but...basically... Most of his techniques are so expensive that they knock him back down to low Fury pretty fast, and...when he drops below certain point amounts (the 5, 10, and 15) he loses access to his powers in the same way that he gained access to them. His build-up gets faster the more points he has because, with the exception of Roaring Fists, most of his techs cost 5-10 fury each. But, instead of letting the fight play out...he's jumping to conclusions because he doesn't know jack about the character.

You should be permanently deaf, in both ears.
Let alone with a weakness to sonic.
Now, whether getting hit by 150 decibels for essentially free is fair or not, that's entirely a different matter.

I miss my beloved sasha.go-gaia.com, she was never down and always kept it up for me. leon.go-gaia.com on the other hand was a p***y and couldn't get it up to save his life.
