*Lilly suddenly let herself glow from her holy monstrocity so bright it would blind a person, however she cought Evelin and set her down on the table, "never. For when ever there is a shadow, there is a light to make it dissapear." Shortstraw jumped out of the table with a spoon, "HAHA" He poked her with it, "you have been defreted evil one. Any last words?" Suddenly there was a pulse as theador stood at the doorway with a pillow in one hand and his hand rubbing his tired eye, "whats going on... why sisy on a table? You said theres a rule aginst being on there."

Evelin squealed as she held her arms up in defense and looked back to Theodore. "Help me bro! They're gonna eat me!" She looked back to them. "Little girls are supposed to be especially tasty.." She said, carrying on their little game.

*theador walked into the kitchen sleepily. However at the last moment lilly suddenly found herself on the floor from a swing of a mighty pillow and theador on the table pulling his sister up to her feet, He however readyed his pillow now fully awake, "are you wounded sissy?" He asked. Theador chukkled and started to spin his spoon around like his daggers, "oh no you dont." he opened the draw and pulled out some plastic spoon and started throwing then like little knives. Theador trying hard to block behin dhis pillow as if a sheild and a wall, "whats going on?" He asked in a whisper.

Evelin giggled as she looked to her brother excitedly. "Daddy and Lilly are playing with us!" She suddenly jumped in front of the pillow with her hands on her hips. "You're in trouble now that bro's here! We're unstoppable!" She laughed as she then jumped onto her fathers back.

*Shortstraw pretended to panic as he ran around, "AHHHH GET IT OFF GET IT OFF!" Theador now understanding the situation nocked lilly back down with his pillow as soon as she got up, "dont even think about it! You can do it sissy!" Shortstraw wizzed around before he stummbled back into the living room and fell onto the sofa where he spun around and held her down on the couch, "HAHA look whos got who now!" He begain to tickle her alove. "I'll just have to tickle all this evil out of you!"

Evelin found herself in a giggled fit as she tried to stop Shortstraw from tickling her; she was awfully ticklish. "S-stop!" She giggled more. "Daddy stop!" More giggling. "I-I'm not evil! I'm not evil!" She squealed.

*There was suddenly a crash in the kitchen and shortstraw stopped, "oh no... i wonder what your bother did this time." As he rushed in to the kitchen, "Everything alright in here." Lilly was on the floor agisnt hte lower cabinets with plates broken all around her from falling out of the top cabinets. He rushed over "you alirght?" Theador was standing next her now looking sadly at her, "I was only playing!" Lilly however giggled, "no no i'm fine." SHe smiled, "and dont wory theador it wasn't you. I was playing and my hilt got cought int he door so when i fell back form the pillow again it snagged and i fell back ont he counter and the plates feel. No big though. I'll jsut have to make a new plate run."

Evelin put her finger in her mouth as she stood in the doorway, looking at them all. She then quickly rushed over to her brother and hugged his arm. "Are you okay bro?" She asked, only concerned for him at the moment. Well, Theodore was always going to be her first response.

*Theador nodded, "Yea i'm fine. I'm as tough as nails." He pointed and his eyes grew wide though, "Theres a peace of plate sticking out your neck!" Lilly pulsed and reached back to pull out a peice of the glass. "hmmm i didn't even notice." She giggled. Shortstraw forced her to move over as he inspected her neck incase there was more, "i'm fine i'm fine." SHe replied trying to get up as he resisted. She seemed in a good mood still though, "Theador hun would like your breakfast?" She now compleatly ignored shortstraw. Thedor however shrugged, "i'm okay i can wait till lunch." She smiled, "aright well i'll be headed to town i guess. Anything any of you need me to pick up?"

Evelin frowned over to her. "Miss Lilly... please have a look at your neck..." She asked cutely so that maybe Lilly would be guilted into looking after herself. And honestly the look of that kind of wound make Evelin a little queasy.

*Lilly chukkled and leaned over to pat her head, "Dont worry I'm a warrior i've had far worse injurryes then from a little plate. One day you may understand." She shrugged, "however i guess i'll make sure theres no glass left inside while i'm out." Shortstraw made a face, then looked to his kids, "alright are you two ready for something new? I set up a series of things for you to find, and obsticals you will have to go up aginst while finding them." He held out a map, "you are to both team up for your first mission. This is a test and a challenge so your both need to work extra hard. Use this map of the city. And this..." he handed them a list, "and this series of riddles from 1 to 15 items you will need to locate. If you can find them all before dark, you will both get a prize when you come home."

Evelin looked to her brother excitedly and tugged on his arm. "An adventure for both of us!" She went to take the map and studied it carefully, before quickly looking back to Theodore again. "Com'on bro! Lets go do it!" She said with a cute little smile and started to pull Theodore out of the room, trying to be enthusiastic.

*Shortstraw stepped into the doorway, "hold on i wasn't done." He chukkled, "There are a few rules. The first is you cannot leave the city. The second is that i have spys everywhere to watch you just in case somthing i didn't plan shows up. Be carful. And third, "you will need real weapons for some of these tests. So this is also to see how well your training has payed off." He crouched and pulled a fabric like belt of throwing kives out, "Evelin this is for you." He tied it aorund her like a belt, "Be carful. And just in case." He put two maller ones at her ancles, "you do have spare." He looked to theador, "and for you son..." he pulled out a bow and quiver of arrows, "make these last becuse this is all your have. Make sur eyour shots count." Theador nodded and put on the quiver. "rule three, do not hurt the towns folk or you will be discolified and telported right back here." He stood, "i think thats all. So good luck, i'll be watching~"

Evelin blinked at her father then looked down to her belt. She had actual weapons now? The proper thing? Stuff that could hurt people? She wasn't sure how she felt about that, she didn't know if she could actually use the weapons in a practical situation. In theory, she was great. But now she was anxious about actually having to use them. Even so, she turned back to her brother and started to drag him again while stuffing the map in his face for him to look at too.

*As they stepped out the door shortstraw shut the door and now it was just them. Fo rthe first time, on there own with a mission. THeador nodded trying to be serious even though he was exceited as could be as he looked to the map holding one side, her the other, "alright whats the first riddle?" He held the list, "in a place full of fun, there is a think thats number one." He made a face, "I dont get it."
