Ideih's next excited attempt to touch a glowing orb was met with a small failure. The orb seemed to dart away from her every attempt. She blinked and chased after it.

The crystal this time was unsuccessful as well.. Liace supposed she must have be quite the clumsy person, preferring not to blame it on the glowing crystals.

She grazed another crystal, feeling a warm feeling envelop her. "I'm so weak that it frustrates me." A voice on the verge of tears spoke..?

Were these people speaking to her? "Who are you? She asked around her, but no answer came forth. The balck shadows passed by her, seeming to seek their own crystals. Nobody paused. Rather than people, it were these crystals that were strange..?
When she had gotten five crystals, she knew it was enough. It was time to take them elsewhere.

Finally Ideih threw herself at the orb, catching it in the air and rolling over the ground with it.

Ideih sat on the floor of the temple with her glowing orbs in her arms. This was it. She had everything. Her shinies.
She then stood and looked all around, wandering off in whatever direction her feet took her.

It took only a blink of the eye for the world to change again around Laurus. She stood for a moment, just drinking the sights and letting the waterfall's rumble wash over her.
Catching a movement out of the corner of her eye, she reached out toward the glowing orb bobbing through the air. With such a warm grey glow, it didn't seem harmful.
The moment she touched the fragment, a voice murmured, very close, "Always follow your nose." She startled, fingers tightening around the fragment. Looking left and right, she saw no one close by. In a moment, the surprise faded, leaving only warmth and curiosity behind.
She would have to investigate this.

Spotting another glowing orb, Laurus leapt after it, one cupped hand trapping the fragment against a wall.
It was a younger voice this time. "I dare you. I double dare you!" A chuckle escaped her as she tucked the fragment away.
