That had worked surprisingly well, and Imuiel looked back over his shoulder at the swinging bridge, quite pleased that he'd been having this kind of luck thus far.
Well, until he got slammed by what appeared to be a harpy, that is.
It didn't take more than a moment for him to retaliate, trying to slice at the offending creature with his weapon. If he could manage to strike it, maybe it would back off? Hopefully. Both it and the rest of them didn't seem pleased that Imuiel had come all the way up here, but he had no intention of leaving without a blessing.

The next time one of them attacked, he got them far better in kind, cutting deeply into the misty substance that made up his enemies. That sent one of them spinning away, only to crash into the ground with a resolute thud. They seemed to be drawing back from him, and Imuiel had every intention of continuing to drive them back. He was so close now, and failing here was not on his agenda.

Unfortunately for him, Imuiel missed the next time he lashed out, and the harpies closed in once more, pushing him back a little closer to the edge. He didn't want to admit that he'd been right about the cliff being a part of this, but he was getting rather close to being forced to. This was either going to be drastically unfortunate, or he was going to succeed. He was hoping for the latter.

When he'd taken stock of how much room he had left, Imuiel had almost distractedly attacked, managing to drive one of the harpies back with what was, admittedly, a light blow. He just had to keep going for a little while longer, and he could go and retrieve a blessing--it was there, he could feel it.

Imuiel pulled his attention back to the task at hand, gritting his teeth as one of the last few harpies tried mauling him. With a swing that he might actually be proud of, the tall shape struck them down, leaving misty bodies littering the top of the cliff.
Now, he just had to find where the blessings were, and he could consider this quest completed for the time being...

Reaching out to grasp one, Imuiel smirked underneath his mask, feeling the warmth wash through him as he came into contact with it. He felt as if somebody was there behind him, but it wasn't of too much concern.
Right now, what he was most worried about was the trip back down.

It wasn't too soon that she had made her way to a bridge, looking at it...something made her nervous. But she was adventurer at heart and took to it like a champ, walking over the bridge as if it was nothing. She hadn't even noticed she crossed until she was surrounded by rocks again.
