By some amusing twist of fate, Thackery's suspicion that the darts were skewing the results out of his favor appeared to come true; once again, he negated the only points he'd managed to achieve.
"I'm gonna figure out your tricks," he warned, jabbing a finger at the darts.

BOOM BOOM BOOM Somehow, Mia had managed to loose sight of Molan in the crowd, but rather than try to plow through the students trying to look for it, it'd probably be best to stay put and wait 'til it thinned out a bit. ... She was squeezing the life out of the penguin because...she wanted to eat it. She should really let it go before it died, they weren't ready to settle down and eat it yet. Not yet. Oh! He thought she was...sad? Sibyl smiled and shook her head. "I know~. Ghosts can't die. That's silly."The touch to her face got another blush from the ghoul as she released the penguin from its death grip in her arms. It flopped over, panting for breath and rolling onto its back. Mercy. "Oh noooo! The world is endiiiing!" She suddenly paused and looked excited again like she hadn't been acting weird. They'd passed a booth earlier that'd interested her and now she had an idea. "Ohohoh! I'll be right back! There's somethin' I gotta go get. Watch Mr. P, okay?" The leash was given to Gabriel and Sibyl scrambled to her feet, running off to another booth with a gleeful giggle. This was going to be genius!

BOOM BOOM BOOM As Titus made his through the event he managed to stumble upon another interesting game of sorts. At least one that appealed to him more than the lovey dovey things he had been seeing around. Once he had a handle on what he was supposed to do the demon strolled up to the booth and took his position. Throwing darts couldn't be all that hard right?

BOOM BOOM BOOM Well, three wasn't bad but Titus wasn't sure that was good enough by his standards. He had at least missed the heartless balloons but it hardly qualified for a prize. So when the booth was free again the demon stepped up to give it another go

Oh. Gabby quirked his head in surprise, and let out a relieved chuckle. "Well damn." It was his fault for thinking that Sibyl had the capacity to take anything too roughly. He stared at the panting penguin for a while, and grinned ferally. Was he imagining Sibyl tearing into it? A little bit. He took the leash without thinking, and then looked up just in time to notice that Sibyl had abandoned him. He blinked, his grin falling, and he looked around himself for clues as to where he'd gone. Did he just abandon her.. .. with the damn penguin? "How do I keep getting saddled with you, damnit?" He growled at the creature, reaching over to push it off its feet. Some gift idea, real smart Gabby. Bring something that you're going to have to end up walking and watching all day. Next time, flowers. Definitely flowers.

Gabby had been playing with the penguin, knocking it down just to see it get back up again. Over and over. When Sibyl returned, he knocked it a little too hard by mistake, and it stayed down this time. He looked up at her, a mixture of melancholy and surprise on his face. Gabby didn't like being abandoned. He closed his eyes, held out his hands, and couldn't help but pout.

Oh no! He was sad! This was bad, very bad. Sibyl needed to act fast. She took the card and placed it very carefully in Gabriel's waiting hand, putting it right side up and facing him so he could read it right away. "Okay! Open them~!"She waited excitedly for Gabriel's reaction. Sibyl did good, right? Totally. The penguin rolled from side to side, trying to get back up from the hard shove it had been given.

BOOM BOOM BOOM Still embarrassed after her failure in Cricket's booth, Heidla came here to shoot the balloons. But it seemed that the rule worked even here: once a failure, always a failure. Because she hit just one balloon and a black one. With the same sad whistling sound her ego deflated tremendously. Bah--bah-boom!
Good question what was darker, Heidla's mood at the moment, or the balloon that just shrank to a small black nothing?
