"Ach, I guess I missed teh hosting clubs." But if all they did was have treats to eat, she was probably better off. Freya opened her mouth in a wide yawn, and stretched her arms out above her. "I feels like I've been out here playings forever.." She blinked, and looked at Mort curiously. "Yeh said yeh'd talked teh Herryk lately, didn't yeh? Was he at teh festival? I didn't sees him all day." She petted Bella's back affectionately. "Is okay, yeh'll get it! Keep tryings!"

To . . . hang out with people? That was it? Uhhh alright then. Mort just blinked at the witch, feeling much like Freya in that he figured he hadn't missed anything at all. "Mrrr, it was," he agreed with a smile. "Tried one've them, forgot the name . . . s-something about tramway or . . . Anyway, m'glad she set up booth; mentioned to me before about wanting to start up own coffee shop, so s'nice to see her pursue dream." In a way he was envious that Gene already knew what to do with her unlife and was working towards it.
"Snapkitty needs muzzle for tail," Mort grumbled nevertheless. "Gonna make him battler? Bet would win every match." Though he still lightened up a bit when she brought up dancing which, though he knew he was not at his best for that, had still been an enjoyable experience.
Speaking about bringing up memories. "I did, but not at festival," Mort told Freya. "Was while back. F-Found him outside when taking Lanna for walk; both've us had brushie time with foxfire twins while talking." Though it was a bit strange that the draugr wasn't around . . . "'Ve things been going okay with him?"

DUNKING!Target: THACKERY The back pets elicited a determined nod from the witch who snatched up three more balls. "My favorite was the Undead." She added to Mort with a quick wink before she tossed the first ball. Almost about to say something about Snapkitty, there was instead a name she wasn't familiar with. At least, not really. Only once before had she heard the name, so long ago it felt like years instead of only one. And then the conversation got a bit more serious and Belladonna absently tossed the second one. It was so far off course that when she whirled back around to look at Thackery, she instead found the ball at her feet. Had she even really tried?! Still... The witch understood when it was best to be quiet, so she only turned back around and distractedly tossed the last one. Better than the time before, but still miles off. Trying not to look altogether too interested, Belladonna instead kept her mouth shut and idly fiddled with the bow of her uniform. After all... This wasn't her conversation. Yet.

DUNKING!Target: THACKERY Alice had retrieved some more objects to throw at the target. She took her stance as she prepared to dunk Thackery inside. The first throw was really close. It was like almost on the edge of the target. The second throw she was really close. Mostly like the first one. She took a deep breath as she threw as hard as she could. She waited a moment to hear the splash. She hit the target, and dunk Thackery. " Yes," she said to herself with a slight clap. " Sorry Thackery, hope it's not too cold in there."

"Things?" Freya worried at her skirt nervously. "Things are okays? I means, what things yeh means, specifically?" She tried to focus real hard on Bella's throws, to give her luck - and to move the conversation to something else. Or better yet.. "I thinks I should heads back to the dorms now, maybe yeh calls me when yeh wants teh goes out teh gets eyescreams, ja?"

DUNKING!Target: THACKERY Okay, Thack was on the plank now, he hhad to give it a whirl. "Oh really?" he said to Belladonna with a grin as he picked up the next three and tossed them. So close. "Thought about getting it, but s-said something 'bout chai n' lavender n' . . . eeech. Wanted something darker."
Mrrr, okay maybe pressing her in public wasn't a good idea. "You sure? Er, yeah w-we can talk 'bout it over eyescream then; will text soon, mkay?" DUNKING!Target: THACKERY Back to her dorm? Wait, what!? No! There were so many unanswered questions, so many things left unsaid! But, still... The Valkyrie looked vastly comfortable and Belladonna was not one to force anyone into anything. Most of the time. "Oh! Are you feeling alright?" She instead asked, jumping over to give the ghoul a hug. Good luck charms didn't get to leave without them! "Thanks for your help with my luck! Have a good rest of the night and let me come with you guys for eyescream!" Belladonna smiled at the ghoul, a little crookedly as she let her go and was surprised by how very small she was. Freya didn't look that small, so why had it been like hugging a scareling? Not wanting to yet give up on throwing things, the witch whirled around, grabbed all three balls at once and hurled them at the target. They all missed horrifically, but it didn't even matter. What mattered was the sudden departure of Freya. It was strange, but even if she kind of wanted to, Belladonna wasn't going to pry.

"Hi! Hiiiii!" Thackery called, waving back to Belladonna. Even if her aim was off, she was trying awfully hard. "Keep going! You'll get it!" He clapped his hands together, cheering her on, until he went plummeting into the tank. Any kind of liquid was pretty cold for Thackery, considering his affinity for hellfire, but he couldn't hold it against anyone. After all, he had volunteered. "It's okay, it's not too bad," he reassured her, with just one little shiver.

"Ja, no more strangers!" Freya leaned in and gave Mort a kiss on the cheek, before being hugged by Bella and accepting the hug happily. She turned her head to give the ghoul a kiss on the cheek as well, and squeezed her tightly. She was so nice to hug! Freya would make note of this for later. "Yeh calls me later, both of yehs, okays? Or HIM me, if yehr on teh computers. I might konks out early tonight, but usually I'm up all nights just taptaptapping. Okays. Have funs!" She gave them both one last affectionate squeeze, before her wings unfurled behind her, and she left the festival - and the floor - behind.

" Really? I can get you a towel, or something to dry you off a little," she said. She knew he was a little cold, mostly from him shivering while he spoke. She quickly thought of where she could find a towel, while holding one of her arms.

DUNKING!Target: THACKERY "Gotcha." Mort returned the hugs a bit wistfully and watched Freya leave with a vague look of concern. Herryk had skimped on the details of how their relationship had been going, but he hadn't thought it would get to the point of making Freya nervous. And he couldn't help but wonder in his typical Mort way if maybe, had he been more active in keeping up with the Nords, this might have been avoided or lessened.
"Mrrr . . ." He hefted the balls and threw them in quick succession, each worse than the last, and made a small frustrated noise. "Dammit."

DUNKING!Target: THACKERY For whatever reason, Belladonna was charmed by the kiss and only laughed as Freya left, a smile on her face as she watched the ghoul soar off. Things had been so strange tonight, zipping between good and unfortunate fast enough to cause whiplash. Enough to give pause, at least for a small while. So for a few moments more the witch stood there, watching the Valkyrie fly off and it wasn't until Mort cursed next to her that she finally turned. "Is she alright?" The witch asked as she looked up at him, one hand absently catching the bottom of his jacket and giving it the tiniest of tugs. Eyebrows crinkled over pink eyes, but she managed to keep most of the worry out of her face. Quickly the witch grabbed up her next three tries and threw them all. One got rather close, enough to make her smile, but she still looked at Mort from the corner of her eyes. Naturally, her own luck was rocketing back and forth so Belladonna didn't even bother to curse her own small failure.
