Her mind drifted back to Alexander as she pulled in her driveway, but she was suddenly distracted by a figure sitting on her porch. After she stepped out of her dad's truck, her eyes adjusted to the dark and on the figure who's silhouette was the only thing she saw because of her bright porch light.
"Danny?"
a voice suddenly said, and she realized the figure on the porch was Louis. She frowned, but quickly smoothed her face over with a plain expression, walking up to her house. "What are you doing here, Lou?" she asked, pausing a few feet from where he was sitting on her front steps.
"Waiting for you to come home," he said, standing up and opening his arms as if to hug her, but as he stepped forward, she stepped back. He froze, and eventually frowned. "Come on, Dan, why have you been like this? When are you just gonna realize we're still gonna end up together?" At his question, Danny grimaced, taking another step back. "LISTEN, Louis. I really feel like we need a break, okay? Give me some space, I'm begging you." Louis stepped forward, his arms crossed and his expression now rather agitated. "I don't know what happened to you, Dan, but this isn't like you... You're parents still think we're together. I came here to see you but they had said you went out with a friend, and I know it wasn't Amanda." Danny looked up at him with a solid expression, but no response. With her silence, Louis smirked. "Danny, who were you with? I swear if it was that freak from that crack plant house, I'm gonna laugh." At that statement, Danny's hands clenched into fists. Her eyes filled with spite and she took a large stride forward, and with huge amount of force extended her arm and hit Louis across the face with her palm. The sound was loud to say the least, a short and strong smack! . After a minute of silence, Louis turned his face to look back at her, his hand on the side of his face that was throbbing. "Goodnight, and goodbye." she said, and with that, she hitched her bag over her shoulder and walked past Louis and into her house, locking the door behind her and shutting the outside light off with it.━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Who am I with ? -- Louis

  ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗The following morning Alexander woke up slowly. As he turned over there was a strange rustling that, upon opening his eyes, was revealed to be a multitude of vines and bushes. He sat up with a jolt then, looking around his room to see they were coming in through his doorway. "De réir na déithe!! What is..." He trailed off as he realized what had happened. He'd gone to bed quite happy and slept peacefully. He had no doubt that something had radiated from him to affect the plants this way. He sighed and began pushing through the plants to see what the front looked like.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Daиιelle ⋯ ReιиhaяdtPlease, call me Danny. █ ▆ ▅ ▃ ▂ ▂ ▃ ▅ ▆ █━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Finally waking up after a rough night, Danny moved herself to the side of her bed, where she kicked her feet up and stepped towards the door. She got dressed quietly, still half asleep. Last night had been tough on her, and she hadn't been able to get a good hour of sleep the entire night. She was constantly waking up, sometimes after parts of weird or scary dreams, and sometimes after dreams of just Alexander. She paused in front of her bathroom mirror, glaring at the image looking back at her. The young girl's reflection looked worn, but Danny made sure to perk up a little for work.
After getting ready, Danny hopped in her car and drove to the shop. Upon entering, she froze, staring around at the plants that were obviously overgrown.
"WOAH." she said loudly, finally letting out a loud laugh. "ALEXANDER?" Danny called, hoping he was somewhere among the vines and leaves.━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Who am I with ? -- no one

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander had seen the front and was now in the greenhouse. It seemed the only plant that hadn't had an explosion in growth was his, which seemed to be dancing. As he heard Danny shout for him, a jolt of irrational panic shot through him even though he heard her laugh, making him turn rapidly before he took a breath. "Hold on Danny, stay there." He called back, shaking his head at himself before moving through the sea of vines to the door, separating them to smile at her. "Good morning!" he said cheerfully before getting a better look at her. She looked tired, worn out. "Danny, are you alright?" He asked.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

She stepped towards the vines and other plants as he stepped out of them, and she greeted him with a smile.
"Good morning," she said quietly, leaning up to give him a good morning peck on the cheek. She let herself come back as she said, "Yeaaah, I'm okay. Rough night, that's all." She shrugged, making her way over to the counter, which was covered in vines, and making a small open space to set her things.━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Who am I with ? -- Alexander

"What happened?" He said, pulling them out of the drawer. "Something not too terrible hopefully?" He said, clearing another spot for them to sit and patting the counter next to him. She wasn't going to elaborate on why she had a rough sleep, but the answer was just enough that she hoped it would tide him over. She gazed up as he cleared a spot for her on the counter, and she hoisted herself up to set herself down carefully. ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander blinked at her for a moment, recognizing there was something she wasn't telling him, but let it drop. "Well, I'm not really sure, actually." He said, looking around as well. He figured it might be a tad off-putting, and probably unbelievable, to tell her he'd simply gone to bed too happy. "However luckily none of the poisonous plants picked up on whatever it was, so these should be safe to simply cut then identify as long as they're not eaten in excess." He said. He sighed and closed his shears with a snap, setting them in his lap. "Though I don't doubt it'll take the whole day and I should probably get started." He said, his tone suggesting he'd much rather just sit there with her than get to work on the plants.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

She couldn't believe what she had just heard him say, but then again, this was Alexander she was talking to. ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗At her response, Alexander began laughing despite himself. "No no, I don't expect you to eat them." He said, hopping off of the counter. "I suppose I worded that improperly. What I meant is we'll be safe handling these plants as long as we don't eat a bunch of them, as opposed to if the rather poisonous ones had an explosion in their growth." he said. "Though I suppose eating them would be one way to identify them." He added, looking through the counter drawer again. "However...I am almost certain...I have a book...to help instead..." he said, looking through the drawers in the walls around the counter as well.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Now glad that he had brought up a book, she turned around on the counter to watch him search. "Okay, a book. That's a relief," she said, letting out a nervous laugh, scratching her head. "Though I haven't used it for a while so-" he said, cutting himself off as he noticed her lingering blush and realizing he'd embarrassed her. "Oh Danny, I do apologize." He said, looking at her apologetically. "I wasn't intenting to laugh at you." He said, running a hand through his hair guiltily.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

"No, no it's okay," she reassured, letting out another small laugh. She scooted herself off of the counter, landing behind it to help open drawers to search for this book that Alexander was speaking of. She looked up at him as she opened another drawer. "Don't worry, I totally get it. It's alright." she said, giving him a reassuring smile.━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Who am I with ? -- Alexander

He said, continuing to look. "Originally I though that was a good thing, but now I'm regretting it, considering it fits in most of these drawers." He said, continuing down the wall of shelves. "However, once we find it, I figure the best way to go about clearing all this is for one of us to go through and cut them and the other to identify and sort them. Sound good?" "I feel like we're gonna make an even bigger mess by trying to find the thing that's supposed to help us clean the current mess up," she said, kind of grinning at the weird way she worded her sentence.
